Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara bags her tricorn and hides her holy symbol. "Ridiculous. But all we need is time to disperse into town, before anyone gets suspocious. And if you kids can keep them busy until we are gone, that is fine with me. No matter if Captain Clara, or honest to the bone Cleric of Erastil Jewel, or Sandman Tarjun. As long as it is not me. Because I'm the opposite of unsuspicious."

"So in case we don't meet again - it was an honor to sail with all of you." sandara steps into the boat.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"Straight to the port, or somewhere off the village?" Sandara inquires, unsure about the best way to move forward here.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"If Cogword dares to sail this ship with a crew of three..." Sandara comments.

"Into the riggs, we're sailing to Annesley." Sandara commands. She then walks to the steering weel and sets the proper course.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"Landlubbers." Sandara sighs.

"We go to Annesley. None of the crew can show up in front of the pirate captain again without losing their head. Plugg is dead and no one did anything about it."

"But if you are a pirate - a real pirate, not a sailor, mugged and forced on a pirate ship - you don't want to go on land in Annesley and ask around when the next ship leaves to the Shackles. Because then you could easily end up in shackles instead."

"And in case the majority of the crea wants to stay on the ship and you can't manage to row a boat towards a city in sight without getting lost, you don't deserve to reach it."

Sandara decides that the discussion ends there and leaves the cabin. Outside she calls the crew together. "We have a decision to make. We know where Annesley is and we will go there. It is a small unimportant town at the coast of Varisia. The decision we need to take is, whether we will sail into the harbor, or if we put everyone who wants to leave into the ships boat, as soon as the town comes in sight and sail on with this bucket."

"To sail on you need a crew and we're already short on hands. And the kids are leaving for sure. If most want to go to the port, the rest can take the ships boat and leave before if they like. I don't care one way or the other. So hands up for sailing to the prot of Annesley."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"Only if you start another one." Sandara replies. "Or do you belive someone will start a mutiny against captain Clara?" she asks amused.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"Yes we can. But do we want to?" Sandara replies. "If we have real pirates in the crew, they might not want to go there. I suggest we have a vote. If all are fine, we go to Annesley. And if not, we bring you in sight of it and you can leave with the last boat we have."

"If we have only a few pirates, we give them the boat to leave before we reach Annesley."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara points to the desert island on the map. "Maybe they were on the way to Varisia anyhow. You should know." she states looking at Pierce. "He can also answer all your questions about Rahadoum."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara checks the markings on the map and finds where their current position is. "We are here." she points out. "That would make a three day travel to Annesley. Do you know anything about that town? Do they have military? Will they know that this ship was captured by pirates?"

"Anyhow, we should make sure that the crew of this Rahadoumi merchant ship looks like sailors and not like pirates. Because if they have any kind of town militia in Annesley, they'd throw us into jail."

"But it is Varisia and not Cheliax, so we have a fair chance to walk away."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"Get the ship sailing again. Can't have us sit around like flotsam, or we'd be fighting pirates in no time. I go check if we find this Annesley or any other port we can safely disappear from the Wormwood Captain."

"Back to work!" she orders.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara Quinn finally steps up. Looking at Plugg she states "We have no navigator anymore, but if we are lucky, we find a map and the current position of the ship is marked."

"I didn't choose to become a member of this pirate crew, and I'm fine with going to Annesley. If we can find it on a map."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"I don't know. I've never been to Annesley."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"She is ok. They put her in a cage on the lower deck. It's not great, but ya can't do anything about it. Ye better make some friends on the ship. Ta know whom ta ask to look the other way, or sneak some food down to her the next days."

"If ye get caught now by the wrong guy, ya'll take the cage next ta her. But hey, don't listen ta me - yar a pirate now and pirates do as they like, right?" She pats Tarjun on the back and leaves to join the the ones doing arm wrestling. There is always someone willing to pay a coin for healing if the bleeding from losing is too bad.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

One of the pirates approaches Tarjun when the attention of the others is elsewhere. "Aye, mate. Are ya ok? Ya got a rough start on the ship."

"Ya better keep it on the low. Or if ya the type, try ta suck up ta Plugg. Name's Sandra Quinn."

"The other lass, the witch, was contesting for my job. But calling out for Erastil, will make ya no friends. If any of those" she nods over to the other pirates "know who that is anyway. That's a god for lanlubbers. Some are joking the lass shrunk Plugg's dick. He will get back at her for that. Good thing is, no one's making a pyre on a ship."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"That would serve only half the crew at best." Sandara objects. "Also I'm sick of hearing them whine about their cock rotting off when they caught something on their ride again."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"No. The best I can do is keep her corpse fresh until we find someone. I'll pray for that magic tomorrow." Sandara replies.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara uses the rest of the day to contemplate the experiences she made as a pirate so far and with the help of Besmara (the Deity) gets the insight into new levels of divine prayers. Returning to the deck in the evening she calls the officers to join her. When all are around she leads them under deck where the body is stored and casts speak with dead on Haddon. "Mr. Haddon. Tell us, who killed you, what your part was in spying for Cheliax and who your contacts are."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"I can do that earliest tomorrow. I'm not prepared for that." Sandara tells.
Also Sandara would need two level ups to be able to do that at all.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"He jumped over board. Haven't seen him since." Sandara replies.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara raises a brow. "Throw him back to the sharks." she says and turns to the next wounded pirate.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

As soon as Trytton is on deck Sandara uses her healing wand on him. "Why were you out? You didn't look that badly hurt?" she asks Trytton once he opens his eyes.

CMW: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (6, 7) + 4 = 17
"She was content to watch the fight from the deck until someone started bashing at the ship." Sandara replies nodding to the water while casting more healing on Estelle.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

With the other wounded pirates also standing around Sandara gets out her flag and channels holy energy.
Heal: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9
Heal: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9

How bad is it?

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

it is just morning. All the fighting started at 2 o'clock in the morning.

Sandara comes over to check on the body. "No I can't. What do you need it for that you can't do now?"

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara got some additional spell slots. I changed her spells from some lousy safe or suck spells with DC 12 to bless and liberation command and bulls strength.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

It is still time to hand in wishlists. A lot of the stuff is standard AP gear. And it matches the standard wishes of some of you. One item was a special request. It is still time for wishes, before I reveal the content of the hold.

But now it is also time to call dibs on things. And I noticed, that my favored cleric has an AC of 11. That needs to change. It doesn't have to be the +1 breastplate, but if noone else wants that Sandara would take it.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

With Lito taking care of the commanding business Sandara has the time needed to bring the Captain back into shape with some more spells.
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

"That should be enough for now, wait a moment." Sandara suggests. She then collects the crew for some healing at stern after the ones from the other crew are piled at the bow.

"Come all close together and let the gift of the goddess Besmara heal you." she proclaims holding up the jolly roger flag.
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara tries to oblige the captains wish. "That will be hard. You don't look well."

CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 2) + 3 = 12

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Oh, right. I'm here too.

Sandara comes over into the area shielded by Noonan, Estelle and Trytton and taps the captain with her wand.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Back on the ship you are greeted by Sandara. "What happened to you? You look like chewed and spat out again." She taps everyone back to full health with her wand.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"No." Sandara replies.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara presses through to Estelle and ticks her with the wand.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

How about the trusted healer the Crew started with? With investing half of the 23500gold into CLW wands I could patch up the crew through a book or two ;)

Just joking.

“Carve your name on the ever-changing sea with a saber of terror and triumph. Fight for plunder, fame, and glory, and earn your place among the legends of the sea.”

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara patches up the guard with the broken leg.
CLW: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Heal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
"You stay in bed until this is growns back together."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"I'll come." Sandara tells and gets up to follow.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara spends another channel to patch up the captain and everyone else who still needs some.
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4
"Any cry babies who still need healing?"

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
Sandara looses her balance and slides all the way to the rail on the port side. "Just a moment. My dignity needs some time to recover." she replies. She waits for the ship to go back to riding the waves before she gets up.

Then Sandara moves to the middle of the deck and takes her flag out. "All who are wounded come over here."
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara waits for the first group of them to land of the ship and then holds up her flag and channels the holy energy of her goddess.
"Besmara send those dead sailors back to their watery grave."

Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
"These are brine Zombies. They are slightly more sturdy than living seamen but you best use slashing weapons to destroy them." Sandara replies after checking them out through the spray of the sea.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara channels once more as there are still sailors lying on deck unconscious.
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11
As they wake up she tells them "Go over there to your companions."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara casts a spell and lays her hand on the shoulder of Estelle.
CLW: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Then she ushers all of the crew together on the battlefield and showing her flag she channels positive energy.
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

Which keeps everyone from dying.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara concentrates on casting a spell and behind the enemy lines appears a wolf. She continues casting for the next round.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"Sure." Sandara replies and hands Lito the wand.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"Sure Captain." Sandara replies. "Tomorrow they'll be as good as new."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara places all in beds and then prays to Besmara to heal the wounds.
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara laughs out loud. "I guess that bird is into you." she tells Jarrus.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

"You have to go to bed. I'll take care of you." She demands shooing all poisoned companions into the sleeping room.

Everyone who gets to enjoy this treatment is healed completely tomorrow.

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

After a while Sandara comes along looking what all the others are up too. Seeing them lying around with green faces or pale like death she asks in horror "I expected you to get better over night. You look really crappy. What happened to you?"

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara looks around and replies. "Sorry I didn't prepare that spell and I for sure couldn't heal all of you. But if you tell me early tomorrow morning if a good night of sleep hasn't brought you back into shape I'll see what I can do."

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara touches the man to stabilize and asks all around "Please help me move him away from the wasps so I can heal you all together with the holy energy from Besmara without reviving these wasps.

Once they are all together and away from the dead vermin she holds up her flag says praise to Besmara and channels positive energy.
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

Female Human Cleric of Besmara (3)

Sandara uses her copycat ability to create a mirror image of herself and moves closer to the man. If she has to try to heal in such close proximity to a wasp she wants at least some chance the beast stings at an image.
