If you can't enjoy a game with bad graphics, you have my unending pity. In many ways the classics are absolutely the best. Graphics are an element to good design, but a relatively small one.
I would expect iteration on graphics, but if you're expecting a total overhaul (and if such would be a requirement for you to play), then don't hold your breath.
In terms of 'stuff to do' - there is plenty of stuff to do. But there is not much content, as that is what I expect you mean. This isn't that sort of game. The other players are the content. See: EVE Online.

It is plainly obvious you were writing a parody of a comment I made in another thread, lol almost word for word, and posted it here because you think I am a member of this Golgotha group. I'm not, never was, and I don't play the game, haven't for more than a month or two now. Just kind of lurking and observing and commenting until the game shows more promise. You are half correct, right up til the second comma at least. I was parodying you because I found your original comment absurd, and I found parodying it amusing.
I try not to make assumptions about people's motivations. You should try it.

Erian has hit the nail on the head, I think. There seems to be a lot of confusion about what the EBA is, and what function it serves. As I understand it, the EBA is just a casual alliance of friends, rather than an entity that can exercise control over any settlement.
Contrast to the Aeonian League. For the most parts, our member settlements are independent in policy and behavior. However, we do have certain agreements that all settlements are required to uphold. These are enforced (although without teeth, but this has yet to be an issue). Thus, you CAN deal with the Aeonian League at a diplomatic level, and expect all it's member settlements to comply with that agreement.
It is a key difference. The EBA is barely more than words and smiles between friends. It is not an entity unto itself.

Quote: provide any wy for us to better implement our policy in compliance with your definition of Good within PFO, I will champion your advice to be implemented throughout the EBA. I'll extend this offer to anyone that can better portray our Good alignment in game-allowable actions. That is very wise. That is the Erian I like. Glad to see you back.
Best of luck. ...he says, not actually taking Erian up on the offer.

What incentive is there to do that? If I had a settlement holding account to sell, asking Goblinworks to close the settlement does nothing (for me - after all, hypothetically I'm leaving the game, the bigger picture doesn't matter to me) but reduce my potential ROI.

I'd be in support of increasing the range of heals slightly, to give more room for error. Even as little as a 5ft range would greatly increase the viability of healing without removing healers from the thick of things.
But I like this better, with only 5;
It's actually about ethics in the PFO community, I guess.

No true popcorn aficionado contributes to ongoing drama. That is called popcorn pissing, and it ruins the natural flavour of the popcorn.
Unless you're into that. Gross.

I'll start using the GW forums once it can remember that I am logged in for more than a day, and/or there is an easily accessible login button on the forum index. Having to browse to a different page on the site to login, then go BACK to the forum to post is terrible.
The UX for the GW forum is just not good enough for me to bother as yet. In its current state, if I go, it'll be kicking and screaming.

Husks being in has 100% changed my behavior as a player - I am not a bandit, but when I'm in combat gear and on home turf, I'm much more aggressive (if you're near Sunholm, please identify yourself when asked!), and when I'm out gathering I actively make choices to keep myself a little safer.
I am incredibly relieved by all of this, as it means that finally PvP is more than just a nuisance.

One small critique - not enough references to the Alpha Aristocracy who have the power to disincentivise bad behaviour make sensible political choices for their groups literally stop you from playing the game because they hate you.

1 is being addressed at present, and 3 is very high up on the community priority (and will thus be higher than usual on GW's priority list). 2 will be sorted eventually with the introduction of Caravans.
Which is not to say I disagree, but don't give up hope. :P

The lack of company/settlement chat is more or less the only thing that'll make me fail to renew my sub in a few months time. Most everything else I can deal with, but the lack of any persistent chat channels is killing me.
As an off-TZ player, the ability to find out if anyone else is online and easily talk to them is absolutely paramount for me to have any sense of community, and is cornerstone to the game itself. The standard mandatory guild (company) and alliance (settlement) chats are probably the easiest way to achieve this basic need.
In terms of priority, work on the AH is underway, lets get that done. Shortly followed by chat, please.
Custom chat channels, even insecure ones, would be a bonus. I do like Linkshells, and the ability to set up a LS for Oceanic players would be a massive boon - but I can live without/wait for that.

This makes me wonder if there is some batch processing that happens during DT that fixes this. Did the players find the problem only persisted until downtime?

You obviously haven't read any of his posts on the AoE board - he isn't unheard from out of game, and he is, uh, abrasive. You'd probably get along like a house on fire.

I expect any settlement that agrees to something to abide by it. And, based on Gpunk's response, they are. This could just as easily have happened to any settlement, honestly. Rogue players abound.

The High Road Covenant, on the other hand, is a specific alliance of three northern settlements, covering all the basic roles: Tavernhold - Fighter/Cleric, Stoneroot Glade - Wizard/Rogue, and Talonguard - Crafting.
I don't think I quite pegged to the parallels between High Road and the League. Maybe we should rename ourselves to the Low Wilderness Conspiracy, or something similar :D
