Move to B19. Phantom Bolt on 2. 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28 vs Will. 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15 damage. On a hit, I can slide him one square. I would like that to be off the edge of the boat (he gets a save to avoid falling to his death). If he saves and does not die, he takes -2 to his next attack and grants CA to the next ally who attacks him.

Rennik conjures a horrifying illusion to root the raiders in place.

Face of Death centered on B11. Versus 2 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32 vs Will. Versus 3 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32 vs Will. Versus 4 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31 vs Will.

On a hit, they are immobilized (SE). First failed saving throw, they become helpless instead (SE). Whenever they save successfully to shake either of those conditions, they become slowed (SE). They also grant CA to the next ally who attacks them.

On a miss, they are immobilized (SE) and whenever they save successfully they are slowed (SE).

I activate my orb of mental dominion. Whenever they save against any of these effects, they have to roll twice and take the lower result.

I am assuming the Karnathi troopers are the 5 guys that look the same.

Rennik probably can't survive that. He's on 20 HP and has +6 Acrobatics and Athletics. Anyone feel like rescuing him?

Horrid Whispers centered between the arbalests.
Vs A1 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35 vs Will.
Vs A2 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17 vs Will.
1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 psychic damage, and the target is slowed and takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls (save ends both). Aftereffect: You knock the target prone. Miss: The target is slowed and takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of your next turn.
Any that I hit also grant CA to the next ally who attacks them.

Sustain minor on the wall.

The crit only does max damage (15) - there is no bonus from my orb.

On the one that I miss, I activate my orb of deception feature to apply the horrid whispers to Mage 1 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (17) + 20 = 37 vs Will. If that hits M1, I also activate my orb: Power (Daily): Free Action. Use this power when an attack with this orb succeeds against the target’s Will defense. When the target makes a saving throw against an effect from that attack, the target must roll twice and take the lower result.

Rennik conjures an illusory wall to block off some of the ranged attackers.

Illusory Wall: I14, I13, I12, I11, H11, H10, H9, H8.

Effect: You create the illusion of a contiguous wall of solid material (stone or metal, for example). The wall can be up to 8 squares long and 4 squares high. The wall blocks line of sight for all enemies (but not your allies). When any enemy moves adjacent to the wall, you can make an attack (Intelligence vs. Will) against that target; if successful, the target cannot move through the wall on its current turn, but it can try again on later turns. On a miss, the wall no longer blocks line of sight or movement for that creature.

Xabulba, probably easiest if you roll those attacks: +15 vs Will.

Since 2 of them are already next to it, I'm guessing they need the check right at the beginning:

Arbalest 2 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29 v will

Mage 1 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26 v will

Mirror Sphere vs A1. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20 vs Will. 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 psychic damage. On a hit: The first time the target makes an attack roll before the end of its next turn, it takes damage and is subject to all other effects of that attack as if it had hit itself. Any resistances and immunities of the target do not affect the damage it deals to itself in this way. It still attacks the original target normally.

On a hit, it also takes -2 to its next attack roll and grants CA to the next ally who attacks it.

Glitterdust vs Mage 2. 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27 vs Reflex. 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 radiant damage on a hit, and it is blinded to EOMNT. Effect: The target gains no benefit from concealment or invisibility, nor can it become hidden (save ends).

I believe we are in the same encounter until we take a short rest. Isn't that the definition? That would mean you keep your Temp HP but our encounter powers don't reset, which makes this gnome grumpy. I welcome the challenge though :)

By the way, on the skeletons' turn, did they take the -2 to hit? Not sure if it would have made a difference.

Rennik conjures phantasmal attackers to make the skeletons believe they are being attacked from all sides.

Enemies Abound centered on O12. Attacks vs Will:
Skeleton 1 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Skeleton 2 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31
Skeleton 3 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24
Skeleton 4 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
On a hit, 2d8 + 9 ⇒ (6, 8) + 9 = 23 psychic damage, "you and your allies can treat the target as an ally for the purposes of flanking until the end of your next turn", and they take -2 to their next attack roll.

Remember that everyone: you can treat S4 as an ally for flanking purposes this round. (Assuming 27 hits its Will, which I sincerely hope it does.)

Realizing that it's too late for a bluff, Rennik hides nothing. "Ooh, they're fascinating devices, aren't they? Interesting bit of thaumaturgy. While I hate to part with it, I would be happy to return it to its rightful owner. So with whom am I speaking?"

Any objections to turning it over, assuming these gnomes don't turn out to be demented cultists or anything? I was thinking of selling it anyway.

Rennik is levelled. You mentioned our wounds are healed - does this count as an extended rest? (Presumably we've been sleeping for an awfully long time.)

Also, I updated Rennik to comply with errata :( Two of his feats no longer stack, so I replaced Implement Expertise with Unarmored Agility (attack bonus is now 1 lower, but AC is 2 higher, so it's not such a bad trade).
