Hi. We will be runing this at the end of the month here in Portugal at a CON , and since this an "old Scenario" , i´m wondering if anyone has already any "gaming helps" for this? Monster stats , skill checks table, gaming aids , visual presentations for the Overseer ( much like those done of this year´s special) , etc... This , and nay tips/advices would be greatly appreciated to help the experience be better for the players and easier for the GM´s. Thanks in advance .
Please Welcome the new Venture-Lieutenant from Portugal - Gaia : Miguel Gonçalves. In the continuous effort we are going thru to implement PATHFINDER , and especially PFS , in Portugal, I´m in condition to announce a new VL for Portugal , in this case for the Gaia City/Region. Miguel is a Portuguese player, and he is one of my trusted GM´s . He is an experienced GM ,and has been playing RPG´s for some years, and PATHFINDER in particular . JANUARY/FEBRUARY REPORT: This is the report for our first 2 months of 2014 . The logistic problems in the Lisboa region continued and affected the overall playing rate, but , we got the good news of a new "branch" in Aveiro , where the VL nominated to the region is doing regular events , and they helped us continuing the growth of PATHFINDER SOCIETY PORTUGAL. During this 2 months we had : 3 tables of Home/Private Game in 3 slots of time , with 5 different players ( including GM´s),in Gaia. 12 tables of game in weekly saturday morning regular Public events ( PORTO PFS WEEKLY MORNINGS) in 8 slots of time , with 21 different players ( including GM´s ),in Porto. 13 tables of game in the Main PFS LODGE PORTUGAL ( PORTO PFS MENSAL) monthly Public event in 4 slots of time , with 54 different players ( including GM´s ),in Porto. 8 tables of game in a Store Public event ( PFS VALHALLA MENSAL) in 4 slots of time , with 28 different players ( including GM´s ),in Gaia in the store Valhalla. 8 table of game in the PFS AVEIRO monthly Public event ( AVEIRO PFS MENSAL )in 4 slots of time , with 21 different players ( including GM´s ),in Aveiro. 2 tables of game in our new Friday afternoon Event in a new store (FRIDAY PFS ARENA PORTO WEEKLY) , in 2 slots of time , with 7 different players ( including GM´s ) , in Porto in the store Arena Porto. 1 table of game in Rolld20 , in a new Event promoted by the PATHFINDER LODGE PORTUGAL amongst our players ( PFLP ONLINE) , to try and give the opportunity for players outside the cities ( and others) to play in their homes. 1 slot of time, with 5 different players ( including GM ), in Rolld20. The final result, is that in this first 2 months of 2014 ,there were 60 different players ( being 4 new players) playing PFS in Portugal, distributed thru 26 slots of time. For next month, March , we will try to mantain the rookies and old players in the game ,and bring new ones also. We plan to continue our expansion in Lisboa , establishing finally 1 monthly regular dedicated PFS event , starting with our participation in LISBOACON´14. We plan to continue our expansion in Aveiro, with the monthly regular PFS event. Besides that , we will be participating in a monthly regional event for RPG´s , where our presence is constantly being requested by players, and We will continue to implement Online play amongst Portuguese players. For this year of 2014 we have big expectations , Organizing 2 CON´s ( possibly a third, in the summer , if things work out good in PPCON´14 in April). One is in April , and the other in October. OUR EVENTS FOR MARCH:
PPCON´14 : PATHFINDER PORTO ´14 – Porto , Portugal Next April 12 and 13th , the PATHFINDER LODGE PORTUGAL will be organizing the PPCON´14 : PATHFINDER PORTO ´14. This is a National CON on it´s 1th edition. This is an Official and sponsored Event by PAIZO. We will play Scenarios and Modules from the Organized Play , PATHFINDER SOCIETY . We have big expectations for it , and have already a lot of confirmations , but we want more , so we are calling out to players from our country but also from other countries to come to our Event. We will have tables with Spanish, Russian , Greek and English GM´s , so there won´t be any language problem. We also have a lot of surprises prepared and some exclusive Scenarios to be played that can only be run in Sponsored Events . For those that don´t know Porto , it´s a wonderful city to visit ,that has an International Airport with flights for all over the world and low-cost carriers operating from it. It has good weather , excellent food , magnificent wine and monuments and landscapes that will stay in your memory long after you leave the country. Great work , and as i said in the forums , it would be great to have a "final version" of the playtest , not with any changes , but with all the errors/toys/etc that have been found in this last version corrected, so that the players that will go on playing can have a document with everything in order , and not run thru the hundreds of posts looking for them.
First , great material , and a lot of improvements from the first version. Second , wasn´t it going to come out with some Archtypes ? Third ,we are seing from the forums, a fair amount of errors/typos/forget/etc writings in the document ( only normal in this "quickened phase" of delivering the playtest).

The connection to Warlocks being more "spellie" is to strong to give it to the Bloodrager , that´s why i said Savage or maybe Primal ( like someone suggested , and the definition of a savage means) . Either way , it has to be connected , i think , to someone who taps into his inner self ( bloodties) to augment himself in battle .
One of the things Jason talked about , was not being happy with the names of 2 Classes because they were names made from combining other classes : Warpriest and Bloodrager. So , my suggestions would be : Warpriest = Templar ( definition: skilled warriors of the church) Bloodrager = Savage (definition : ferocious , untamed , primal ) Any more ideas?

In fact , he was one of the first that showed PATHFINDER to me some years ago. He is starting this month a regular monthly public event in Aveiro. And has the will to make it grow. The Aveiro city/region is 70 Km´s from Porto , and thus is expensive to the players and GM to go from one region to the other regularly ,so this will help us get into an area that has lot of potential , having already some PFS players and being a region with interested Rpg ´s foreigners , Universities , and a thriving and young gaming community. OCTOBER REPORT: This is the report for our tenth full month of activity, October. The logistic problems in the Lisboa region continued and affected the overall playing rate, but neverthless , some players from that region come to our CON in Porto , and they helped making this the best month in the history of PATHFINDER SOCIETY PORTUGAL. During this month we had : 2 tables of Home/Private Game in 2 slots of time , with 7 players ( including GM´s),in Porto. 4 tables of game in weekly morning regular Public events in 4 slots of time , with 24 different players ( including GM´s ),in Porto. 4 tables of game in the Main PFS Lodge monthly Public event in 2 slots of time , with 26 different players ( including GM´s ),in Porto. 3 tables of game in a Store Public event in 2 slots of time , with 18 different players ( including GM´s ),in Gaia in the store Valhalla. 23 tables of game in an ANNUAL CON in 6 slots of time , with 70 different players ( including GM´s ),in Porto´s INVICTACON´13. The final result, is that there were 85 different players ( being 23 new players )playing PFS in Portugal this month, distributed thru 16 slots of time. For next month, November , we will try to mantain the new and old players in the game ,and bring new ones also. We plan to continue our expansion in Lisboa , establishing finally 1 monthly regular dedicated PFS event. We have events every week , in the mornings ,in Porto , in the same place of the monthly event, CRYSTAL PARK , starting at 9.30h . Thanks Matthew. In terms of Scenarios near the Worldwound , i only found 2 , and one is Tier 3-7, both are in Ustalav. #47 The Darkest Vengeance and 3-16 Midnight Mauler. In terms of thematic/flavour , i can´t find anything , there´s only with devils , in Infernal Vault. As we´ve seen so far in Season 5, it doesn´t have to have demons to be "flavour/thematic"...
Any thoughts on wich to play then, anyone?
Yes John , that´s what i was aiming for. A list of possible scenarios that could match the Season 5 Theme. That way , it could possibly be a "temporary solution" for those Areas/Regions that are complaining for the lack of low-tier scenarios, to use, and not loose all the "flavour" of Season 5. I don´t know if this will help them or not , but at least it might be another resource for them to schedule scenarios.....
I would like to try something..... Can we organize, if it´s possible, a compilation of old Scenarios , of Tier 1-3 , that can be easily "integrated" into the Season 5 Thematic and/or General Region ? I´m not talking of "adaptation" of those , i´m talking of Scenarios , played as they are , minus the Season 5 Faction Goals , that could work for this. Like 2-08 , that is played in this general Area ,but unfortunetely it´s Tier 7-11. Can anyone organize/do/give ideas?
I´ve played a lot of old scenarios already , but i must confess , i don´t remember many that could serve the purpose....
Here is the Final report for our 1st Annual National Encounter , INVICTACON '13. First, let me remind you that we are talking of a different "gaming reality" , in regards to the US. So please keep that in mind... Nevertheless, It was all that we could hope. And more... The numbers: We had more 100 visitors playing in our area of the CON. We had 70 different players playing in PATHFINDER SOCIETY registered games.It included SIEGE OF DIAMOND CITY ,DAY OF DEMON , THORNKEEP , 5-01 , 5-02 and other Scenarios. We registered 21 new players in PFS. We ran 10 times our 30 minute DELVE ( demonstration ) at the entrance to our gaming area. We ran 1 Kid´s Track Table , GM´ed by a 12 year old GM. We had 1 GM 101 Table. We had 15 persons playing PATHFINDER ADVENTURE CARD GAME. With all of this , we can only consider this a success , and hope next year , with the help of Mike Brock , we can reach higher numbers and bring more players from other European Countries, that i know will come with Mike´s presence.

The logistic problems in the Lisboa Area continued and affected the overall playing rate, despite me going there to try and "boost" it with an Event , but neverthless , it was a good month with a couple of new players.
During this month we had : 3 tables of Home/Private Game in 3 slots of time , with 19 players ( including GM´s),in Porto. 4 tables of game in weekly morning regular Public events in 4 slots of time , with 24 different players ( including GM´s ),in Porto. 5 tables of game in the Main PFS Lodge monthly Public event in 2 slots of time , with 30 different players ( including GM´s ),in Porto. 2 tables of game in a Store Public event in 2 slots of time , with 14 players ( including GM´s ),in Gaia in the store Valhalla. The final result, is that there were 45 players playing PFS in Portugal this month, distributed thru 9 slots of time. For next month, October , we will have our 1st Annual Event , and we hope to build from it to mantain the new players coming from it. We plan to continue our expansion in Lisboa , establishing finally 1 monthly regular dedicated PFS event. We have events every week , in the mornings ,in Porto , in the same place of the monthly event, CRYSTAL PARK , starting at 9.30h . The eleventh monthly event in Porto, called " 11º PFS RPG ENCOUNTER OF PORTO " event, will be on October 19th. I´m a VC and i have access to the program ( it logs on). But whenever i click on something , it exits the program , and says" There's a problem with Corgi.Unable to join scene." . I used Firefox , and Chrome , and the same error appeared . Can anyone help? Sorry if this is not the place for this....
Welcome to the club Max. The trip to the US is very expensive , but try to appear at least to PAIZOCONUK. Some of us European VC and VL are going there , and the trip to the UK is a lot cheaper...
