Season 5 Help

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I would like to try something.....

Can we organize, if it´s possible, a compilation of old Scenarios , of Tier 1-3 , that can be easily "integrated" into the Season 5 Thematic and/or General Region ?

I´m not talking of "adaptation" of those , i´m talking of Scenarios , played as they are , minus the Season 5 Faction Goals , that could work for this. Like 2-08 , that is played in this general Area ,but unfortunetely it´s Tier 7-11.

Can anyone organize/do/give ideas?
I think it would be an awesome help to the GM´s trying to Organize tables/slots with the Season 5 only in mind ( thus not having to explain further more regions , motivations , etc , and still having a "feel" of the "General Flavour" of the Year of the Demon), and that could thru this, mitigate the possible lack of low Tier scenarios in their Regions/Store/whatever...

I´ve played a lot of old scenarios already , but i must confess , i don´t remember many that could serve the purpose....

I want to make sure I understand your question. Are you looking to create a list of scenarios that match Season 5's theme?

Do you want scenarios with demons?

Off the top of my head--

Spoiler:
Hall of Drunken Heroes, Encounter at Drowning Stones, Blakros Matrimony, Tower of the Ironwood Watch, Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment,

Do you want scenarios that tie into some of the plot elements in Season 5?

Spoiler:
For the Tancred in the Worldwound part: Blakros Matrimony (again), maybe Disappeared and Citadel of the Nail. For the Jormurdun part: The Glories of the Past trilogy.

Yes John , that´s what i was aiming for.

A list of possible scenarios that could match the Season 5 Theme. That way , it could possibly be a "temporary solution" for those Areas/Regions that are complaining for the lack of low-tier scenarios, to use, and not loose all the "flavour" of Season 5.

I don´t know if this will help them or not , but at least it might be another resource for them to schedule scenarios.....

Grand Lodge 4/5

Thanks Mark , i was asking for lower-tier scenarios only 1-3.
Like I said to John , so it could possibly be a "temporary solution" for those Areas/Regions that are complaining for the lack of low-tier scenarios, to use, and not loose all the "flavour" of Season 5.

Raul: Im struggling to think of many low tier scenarios with demons present. With Devils you have stuff like the Infernal Vault and the very last encounter of Prince of Augustana. Im sure there are others. Ill put the thinking cap on and muse on this for a while.

Thanks Matthew.

In terms of Scenarios near the Worldwound , i only found 2 , and one is Tier 3-7, both are in Ustalav. #47 The Darkest Vengeance and 3-16 Midnight Mauler.

In terms of thematic/flavour , i can´t find anything , there´s only with devils , in Infernal Vault.

As we´ve seen so far in Season 5, it doesn´t have to have demons to be "flavour/thematic"...
So the solution might have to pass to play scenarios with a completely "stand-alone/no season meta-plot" approach , since my initial idea can´t be used....

Any thoughts on wich to play then, anyone?

A good place to start for low level characters would be with the Tier 1-2 Blakros Family Scenarios of

Spoiler:
0-05 Mist of Mwangi, 1-35 Voice in the Void, 2-11 The Penumloral Accords, and 3-07 Echoes of the Overwatched.

Those low tier Blakros scenarios eventually lead up to

Spoiler:
4-09 The Blakros Matrimony, 4-EX Day of the Demon, and 5-03 The Hellknight's Feast.

Season 5 scenarios also has the society asking other races to help with exploring the Worldwound. Earlier scenarios that deal with other race are

Spoiler:
1-37 The Beggar's Pearl and 2-13 Murder on the Throaty Mermaid.

Also, several of the season 5 scenarios deal with problems with the inner sea nations. Some of the earlier scenarios that dealt with these problems are

Spoiler:
0-07 Among the Dead, 0-13 Prince of Augustana, 0-24 Decline of Glory, The Devil We Know Saga (Parts 1-4) [1-29, 1-30, 1-41, and 1-48], and 1-49 Among the Dead.

When the Pathfinder Society and others want to move armies from the Inner Sea to Mendev, the route there becomes a strategic consideration. Perils of the Pirate Pact is set in the River Kingdoms and seems relevant.

Thanks to all on the feedback.
