Back when I started to GM/Play TTRPGs again, my wife made me decide on one system. Pathfinder won hands down as, with only three books, I had the backstory of my first Pathfinder First Edition Character. In 2013, I made the request as I wanted to become a Venture-Officer and that did occur. This is the second time that I knew I made the right decision to back Pathinder and Paizo (I love Starfinder as well.). I am looking forward to the ORC and future!!
Congrats to everyone on your fundraising efforts! Unfortunately, I missed the deadline to be included in this blog but our Spokane OP Team raised (for a first post Covid event) $105.00 for Extra Life. We will be a part of the Toys of Boundless Wonder event as well! Big plans are underway, in our area, for Extra Life 2023 as it will be the 20th Anniversary of Extra Life!!

It was great to be back in SeaTac for our "Family Reunion" known as PaizoCon and I am already looking forward to next year!
It definitely has been a journey. I agree that this is amazing seeing you move into a role you were hoping to reach and taking this next step with Paizo while I have taken this area from a small table to a growing region. Honestly, I never thought I would be where I am with the Organized Play Voluinteer team when I was sitting the the SeaTac Marriott back in 2013 during PaizoCon. Bob, do you know if we (VCs) are getting our ability to edit sessions back? I ask this as from my understanding we had pur access to edit sessions revoked due to privacy issues. If that access is not returning, the only option we have would be to escalate to the RVCs. Mainly a curiousity. Thanks.
It is with a saddened heart that my longtime companion, Kirin (Black Tiger Animal Companion), has crossed over to the afterlife. She will be missed and remembered by those we served with on this mission. After recovering from this epic accomplishment and return to Tien-Xia, I seek out a new companion and write this new chapter of my time in this world. Correct on Blood Under Absalom being 3-00. I don’t think 3-EX was ever answered and, if I am wrong, I apologize in advance. Anyway, 3-EX was the designation for the Exclusive version of The Cyphermage Dilemma before it was released as scenario 4-15.

I am right there with you all on the desire for a update to the Additional Resources and Campaign Clarifications. I do have to admit, the delay has caused me to want to play more home games on the side due to wanting to test character options that as not yet sanctioned for PFS play. I have two others in my house that play PFS as well as those in my area that are clamoring for an update. I am theorizing that many of the delays have come from the recent site issues. Con Season and the Playtest are probably contributing factors prior to the site downtime. My plan is trying to keep as patient as possible while we await this update, regardless of who has control of making the update live currently, and making sure my area is notified as soon as it launches. When it does, I will probably hear the sounds of rejoicing from anywhere in the world. I am sure our continued patience will be rewarded at some point as I am sure there are things going on that we aren't even aware of causing delays in getting the hotly anticipated update to AR and CC posted to the site. Hang in there!!

I know the Playtest announcement is still fresh from this past week and has left a ton of questions. I can assure you that if you keep an eye on upcoming blogs, a lot of those questions will be answered on approach to the Playtest and beyond. I know that this post did not contain any answers and, to be honest, I really don't have any myself.
Hail CrystalSeas and thank you for your inquiry. I will start by stating that I am not part of Organized Play Management but I will try to help. The Beginner's Box is used for the Pathfinder Society Academy program and the document you mentioned is probably used in the Transitions phase (as I do not have the current PSA materials to confirm) of the program. From a quick review of the Beginner's Box Pathfinder Society Character Creation Guide, I did not see anything that was in error or has changed with the exception of the address to the Web Traits Enhancement document for picking traits as the Pathfinder Society section of the site has undergone changes over the years. If you have players transitioning from the Beginner's Box to Pathfinder Society play, I would strongly recommend using the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide in conjunction with the Beginner's Box Pathfinder Society Character Creation Guide. The addition of the Roleplaying Guild Guide adds Factions and their respective Traits to the character creation process and will help to round out a PFS character. Hope this helps and please feel free to ask any additional questions.
Myself, my wife, and my son will all be there again this year. My wife and I will be volunteering once again this year. I am not going to speak for her but I am already excited to be there again this year with the hopes of meeting more players and even more of our Venture-Officer corps!! May is not going to get here fast enough!!
