Welcome to the Pathfinder Society!! Since the Head Initiate, Janira Gavix, is currently unavailable, I will help the best I can.
For a Society Game, I would check with your local Friendly Neighborhood Gaming Store and speak to the Event Coordinator or Venture-Officer on site. Your location would be helpful with getting in contact with your local Venture-Officers and who might be close to you to provide more specific details.
As far as information about Society, character creation rules are as indicated in the Second Edition Core Rulebook. Characters are part of a Faction working within the Socoety. Information on them and other PFS 2.0 related information can be found at http://www.organizedplayfoundation.org/encyclopedia/pfs2guide/. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to either post them here or message me directly.
It does not appear to be intentional as I just downloaded the guide for Season 10 after seeing your message. Have you tried clicking the refresh downloads button?
Although I will be sorry to see you go, it is understood that everyone comes to a point where their journey follows a different path.
Thank you for everything you have done for all of us fans of Paizo products. Best wishes on whatever and whereever you journey takes you next.
Unfortunately according to the way that Additional Reources is to be interpreted, if it is not listed in the Additional Resources entry as either being legal or not legal for play, it is not legal. Sacred Implements are used by an archetype which is legal so it may have been an oversight for mention in either Additional Resources or Campaign Clarifications. It may be an upcoming chronicle item as well (complete theory).
In other words, they are not legal but I do recommend waiting for other answers before you proceed.

Many thanks for the update, John!!
I am right there with you all on the desire for a update to the Additional Resources and Campaign Clarifications. I do have to admit, the delay has caused me to want to play more home games on the side due to wanting to test character options that as not yet sanctioned for PFS play. I have two others in my house that play PFS as well as those in my area that are clamoring for an update.
I am theorizing that many of the delays have come from the recent site issues. Con Season and the Playtest are probably contributing factors prior to the site downtime.
My plan is trying to keep as patient as possible while we await this update, regardless of who has control of making the update live currently, and making sure my area is notified as soon as it launches. When it does, I will probably hear the sounds of rejoicing from anywhere in the world.
I am sure our continued patience will be rewarded at some point as I am sure there are things going on that we aren't even aware of causing delays in getting the hotly anticipated update to AR and CC posted to the site. Hang in there!!
I know the Playtest announcement is still fresh from this past week and has left a ton of questions. I can assure you that if you keep an eye on upcoming blogs, a lot of those questions will be answered on approach to the Playtest and beyond.
I know that this post did not contain any answers and, to be honest, I really don't have any myself.
