Note about Complimentary Subscriptions!
Complimentary Subscription Start Dates: I have been noticing a common misconception about the start date of the complimentary subscription for those with the new Paizo Advantage. Your complimentary subscription becomes active when the first item of your fourth subscription ships. Note about Complimentary Subscriptions!

EDIT: The Pathfinder Battles cases and incentives are in packaging that is significantly larger that they have been. This means that the cost to ship is going to be larger. If you need to change shipping methods or otherwise make changes to your order please let is know.

EDIT 2: I have changed the auth, begin shipping, and end shipping dates to reflect a delay.

Due to the launch of Pathfinder Second Edition, the PDFs for our July 2019 New Releases will be available for download on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Thank you for your support of Paizo with your subscription(s). One of the benefits of subscribing to many of our product lines is access to a complimentary PDF of the corresponding product. The mechanism which adds the PDF to a subscriber’s account is the action of the product being processed for shipping in our warehouse. To get most packages to subscribers around the release date, we usually start shipping packages about two to two and a half weeks before the release date. Usually, this is not so far in advance that it creates issues.

Because of the size and complexity of July 2019’s new release shipments, we estimate orders are going to start shipping on or around July 8. This is almost three and a half weeks before the release date. We feel that if the PDFs for our new releases become available to a small number of subscribers lucky enough to be at the front of the shipping window, we are promoting an unfair environment for other subscribers who may be at the end of the shipping queue or picking up their subscriptions at Gen Con, for fans who are not subscribers and are unable to get access to the PDF or a physical copy before August 1, and for the retailers who carry our products in their stores.

We’ve determined the best course of action is to wait until the release date, August 1, to make the PDFs of July’s new releases available for download.

When your July subscription items are shipped to you, the PDF added to the account will be a placeholder which will say:

The PDF edition of this product will be available for download starting August 1, 2019!

Due to the launch of Pathfinder Second Edition, the PDFs for our July 2019 New Releases will be available for download on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

We will update this file on paizo.com at that time, and if your account’s privacy settings allow us to send “Digital Content Updates,” you will receive an email when the file is ready for access on your account.

Our regular process of granting subscribers access to download their complimentary PDF when their corresponding subscription item ships will resume with the following month’s new releases.

On Thursday, August 1, the files will be updated, and as long as you allow us to send you “Digital Content Updates”, you will receive an email when the file is ready for access on your account’s Digital Content page. You can adjust or check your email settings on your Privacy Settings page. If you do not have your email settings set to allow us to send you emails you will still be able to download the updated PDF(s) on August 1.

We understand this is quite a bit different than usual and want to assure you that we will resume the usual process for adding subscriber’s complimentary PDFs as their items are processed for shipping for the following month’s subscriptions. If you have any additional questions about how this works or other concerns, please let us know.

For those who are opting in to Gen Con Pick Up:
GenCon Pickup for subscribers is active to opt in to until July 3rd at 10am PST. You may choose to opt in on your My Subscriptions page. (note: click the words rather than the bubble to select GenCon Pickup on this page).
We will charge your credit card for your subscriptions before Gen Con Indy 2019 along with the rest of the subscribers. You'll pay local 7.00% sales tax because you'll be picking up your order.
If you do not pick up your products, we will ship them to you after Gen Con Indy 2019, and charge your card for shipping. The sales tax will be credited back to your account.
At the show, we will have copies of your subscription products held for you at the registers, or you can pick them up from the sales floor. You will still need to go through the check out line to process the pick up and make any additional purchases at that time. You can pick up your subscriptions at our main booth in the exhibit hall or you can pick them up at our kiosk near the Organized Play room.

For those who are not opting in to PaizoCon pick up:
↬If you have anything in your sidecart that is *ready to go* when we run the order spawning process, it will be shipped with this subscription.
↬If you want to add anything to this subscription order, you have until the authorization date to add it to your sidecart. If it is after the authorization date, make sure you choose to ship with the pending order number.
↬If you add an item to a pending subscription order and the added item has a "should ship from warehouse estimate of 4-11 business days or longer, your subscription shipment will wait until that new item(s) arrive before it can be shipped. This may delay your subscription shipment!
↬If you need to make changes to the payment method or shipping address, you can make changes to the subscription until the authorization date, if it is after the authorization date, double check the changes applied to both the pending order and the subscription.

For those who are opting in to PaizoCon Pick Up:
The schedule for people choosing to opt in is as follows:

• Wednesday, May 8th, 10:00am pst PST — Ability to opt in or change preferences for PaizoCon pick up closes.
  
• May 13th-20th — We will create convention pick up orders, charge payment methods and grant PDFs. Stay tuned to the May thread for more details.
  
• May 24th- May 27th — Pick up your subscription items from the convention store in the Northwest Ballroom at PaizoCon 2019.

Unfortunately we are not able to include any other items for PaizoCon pick up. If you have other items in your sidecart they will wait until the next available subscription to ship.

Shipping & Handling & Sales Tax:
Pick up orders are not charged shipping & handling, but are to charged local sales tax (10%).

What do I need to pick up my subscription items?
Bring your ID, and make sure you know what email address you use for logging into Paizo.com. Printing off your order confirmation email or having it accessible on a smartphone is helpful, but not required. If you'd like to help us test out our account barcode feature, go to your Account Settings under the My Account menu, and look for the "Barcode Box".

I can't make it to PaizoCon, can my friend, family member, partner, husband/wife pick up my subscriptions?
Subscriptions must be picked up by the account holder. We will not release subscription pick ups to anyone but the subscriber.

If I don't have a subscription for a product line, can I still sign up for one and choose to pick it up at PaizoCon?
Yes! Just start the subscription like normal, opt in on your My Subscription page and contact customer.service@paizo.com immediately after subscribing to ensure the starting products are correctly set.

The deadline to opt in or change preferences for PaizoCon pick up of subscriptions is Wednesday, May 8th, at 10:00am PST.

If you have any questions or concerns about PaizoCon pick up please let us know as soon as possible, as the closer it gets to the show, the harder some issues are to resolve. This thread is to provide updates on the order creation and fulfillment process for subscribers to the Pathfinder and Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Scenario Subscriptions.

How will the new edition of Pathfinder affect subscriptions?

The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game subscription will soon be renamed the Pathfinder Rulebook subscription. As before, it will contain the hardcover rulebooks that are the foundation of the game, including the new Core Rulebook and Bestiary, releasing August 1. Accessories such as GM screens, player folios, and the like will no longer be included in this subscription; in the coming weeks, we will be launching a new Pathfinder Accessory subscription for those products.

The Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription continues, transitioning to P2 mechanics beginning with Hellknight Hill, the first chapter of the Age of Ashes Adventure Path, releasing August 1.

The Pathfinder Campaign Setting subscription will have the most significant changes. Following the May release of the last P1 Campaign Setting book, Druma, Profit and Prophecy, this subscription will be renamed the Pathfinder World Guide subscription. The World Guides will have the same kind of content found in the Campaign Setting line, but its larger, less frequent hardcover books examine their topics in even greater depth. These begin with the Lost Omens World Guide in August.

The Pathfinder Player Companion subscription will conclude following June's Druma, Chronicle of Legends. Fans of the Player Companions will want to look to the Pathfinder World Guide line for player-oriented Golarion content.

The Pathfinder Modules subscription will soon be renamed the Pathfinder Adventure subscription. The first P2 release will be August's The Fall of Plaguestone.

The Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Scenarios subscription will become the Pathfinder Society Scenario subscription after the current season ends. The first P2 scenarios will be released in August. (Don’t worry, Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild fans—we'll have some fun announcements for you in the near future!)

The Pathfinder Maps, Pathfinder Pawns, and Pathfinder Battles subscriptions will continue to deliver maps, pawns, and prepainted plastic miniatures (respectively) useful for any edition of any fantasy roleplaying game.

The Pathfinder Cards subscriptions is no longer available—its last new release was in June 2015. For P2, cards will be part of the new Pathfinder Accessory subscription launching in the coming weeks.

Do I need to do anything for my subscription(s) to continue?

The only Pathfinder subscription that won't automatically continue with new products is the Player Companion line. The other Pathfinder subs will transition automatically as described above.

What if I don't want a subscription to continue?

Just contact our friendly and helpful customer service department to cancel. (See "Need Help?" at the bottom of the page for contact info and hours.)

Does anything here change my superscriber status?

We'll be revisiting what it means to be a "superscriber"—and what it does for you—in the coming months.

If I want to start a subscription to any of these lines and only get P2 products, when should I subscribe?

You can start your Pathfinder Roleplaying Game/Pathfinder Rulebook subscription right now. Choose to begin your sub with the Core Rulebook, and we'll ship it along with the Bestiary in late July.

You can start your Pathfinder Modules/Pathfinder Adventure subscription right now. Choose to begin your sub with The Fall of Plaguestone, which will ship in late July.

Start your Pathfinder Accessory subscription after we launch it in a few weeks. Choose to being your sub with the Pathfinder GM Screen, and we''ll ship it in late July along with the Character Sheet Pack, Combat Pad, and Condition Card Deck.

Start your Pathfinder Society Scenario subscription after the current season ends in June. The first P2 scenarios will be released in August.

Start your Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription in early July. Choose to begin your sub with Adventure Path #145: Hellknight Hill (Age of Ashes 1 of 6), which will ship in late July.
