Padraic stands slowly and stretched, cracking his neck before frowning at the door. "I'm going to go for a walk to clear my head. It is too hot in here!" Padraic slips out in to the night slowly.
Padraic laughs softly, walking over to pat Fintan on the shoulder. "Fintan would have handled the rest of them I'm sure. Bloody good hit friend!"
Padraic lurches to his feet and charges at one of the warriors, attempting to drive him back and in to the wall of the hut with all of his might.
I gotta apologize. I'm just kinda dealing with my own sense of anxiety and guilt over the boards and my lack of activity, in a really bad way, by disappearing. I need to make decisions and maybe drop a few games, maybe, but not this game. I will try to do better. Especially after driving Braedan off by being a dick to him.
I'm in, but worried that we haven't heard from Fintan.

Padraic stretches slowly before standing, seeming to flow from lying curled around the others protectively to his feet like liquid. Gods hunting, such beautiful sensations and feelings. He could still feel the power, the tension in his body, could feel the call of the wild and, did he imagine it, or could he feel a stronger pull towards his brothers and sister, his pack. "Water is good for me," He croaked, beginning to look around for a spring. "Mouth feels like it's stuffed with worked wool. Bloody awful." "Ta brohn orm, a cairde, Paidraic o Cinneide is anim dom."
Fun fact: Until around 10 years ago magic mushrooms were completely legal here in Ireland
Padraic coughed "Patrick was Welsh actually. And aye I'll go on your quest. Truth be told I eat these mushrooms to relax sometimes but never thought to get naked and sit around with three other men and a woman to let them soak in to my body. I'll give anything a try once I guess. I'll show you how to make a nice tea of them too. Trick is you dry an out and make them in to a crumbly pile before adding them right after the tea has boiled and let cool slightly. Lovely stuff on a cold night!"
Padraic rises from his sleeping bag and stretches. "I'll go harvest enough to knock out Largay. You start boiling some water in the pot in my pack. Tea sounds delicious!"
"Aye. That is us. Why do you call to me so?"
Padraic gritted his teeth and moved forward, tying a rope around his waist, before turning back to the cliff. "If I don't explode in a flash of blood, follow up." -

"Aye, he may not have time later, but later it might be worse and it might mean life or death. Now it is just a discomfort. Also we have no Tower shields, we are not any of these people. I rushed forward to draw the ire of the wolves that were waitin in the dark so yer brother weren't over run and torn to pieces. I can not fight like ya suggest Braedan, I need ta move, to keep loose on my feet. That is my style, that is how I fight and only know how to fight!" He smiled at the Priest. "Nay brother, ya know I will always accept your healing, but I dont wish ta tire you so early. Save it for if I go down or one of the others needs it more."
That is actually the build I was going with. I just never got to do it because of the surprise nature of the fight. Good eyes Fintan.
Before the man can cast his spell, Padraic stops him, hand over his. "Hold. It is only a scratch brother. I am fine. Keep your magic till it is life and death!"
Padraic lays a hand on Aoifes shoulder before she starts to skin the wolves. "Hold Aoife, hold. These are no normal wolves. There is something not quite right about them. Lets go slow, I will aid you!" With that he crouches opposite her and pulls out his knife, setting about helping her harvest the skins.
Padraic straightens slowly, reaching to his belt and pulling a cloth, beginning to wipe the haft and blade clean on his spear, before looking around. "Everyone alive? Brother, please see to Fintans wounds."
I'm just sick of making s*#+ty cash for working like a dog day to day so I know I need the course but still... True, I know it will pass. I'm not too worried.
Padraic grits his teeth before he reverses his grip on the spear before advancing and stabbing down at its back, seeking to end it.
Ha! Simple life? I wish. I am a 29 year old dude who is trying to finish up a degree he is only partially interested in. I'm up to my eyeballs in debt and the course is basically b+@~~$*s and will qualify me to do a s$!$ty job. But still... We will see how it goes. :P

I am just starting back a new module in College and am just getting back in to a rhythm. I owe so many people posts and am starting back now. I'm going to post one here then one on Times string. Then the others. Sorry guys. Also Time I'll message you in a bit with my Overwatch stuff. :)

Jesus Fintan is your AC really only 16? So on a turn you rage and charge you have AC 12? Dude... If you live this is gonna be a miracle. On the plus side though, King doesn't have to have you killed then I guess. :-P
Keeping his shield up, Padraic stabs out at the wolf beside him(E11), as hard as he can, keeping his shield between him and the wolf in front.
After he stabbed at the Wolf he slipped forward and closer to Fintan carefully, putting him beside the wolf that had been harrying his front(G10).
"Try not to die. Don't let them separate you and don't let them flank you!" Having said his piece, Padraic, keeping his spear in one hand, draws a javelin in the other as he moves forward (F11), before throwing it as hard as he can at the Wolf that Fintan had engaged.
"So wolves are related to the Canine family, so their sense of smell is their strongest sense, but, they still have ears. So can you all kindly shut the f%#& up while we try not to get eaten?" Passaic sighs and crouched low as he begins to move through slowly out in front, scouting as he goes.

"No, you are confusing yer words there lass, ye won't, not ya can't. You can do anything your body will physically let you to do!" "You have a duty to serve the King and to protect his family. Fintan has yet to answer but we both know Braedan will be going to join the Brother."

Padraic smiled and saluted the two warriors. "Aye keeping sharp? Good for yeh, good for all of us!" He gestured at the practice weapons in their hands. "I'm here asking for yer help, both of yeh. The Brother has had more visions. He saw five wolves again and knows where they must go. Wolves are only strong in a pack and you two are part of that pack it seems . Come with me, watch his back, be my right and left flank and we will find the Fragment of the spear. Freedom for you maybe," He gestured at Aoife before looking at Fintan, "And recognition for you. You both deserve it. Come, bold men and women prosper, the meek get nothing!"
As the Brother goes to speak to Braedan, Padraic himself seeks out the older brother and Aoife, hoping to speak to them warrior to warrior.
Padraic looks up from where he had been working, oiling his armor and weapons, preparing to go and petition the King to join the army marching to meet Breifne. He takes a moment to think, before nodding and standing slowly, beginning to prepare for the trip ahead. "I'll lead you on this trip Brother, no fear of that. And as for Aoife, well, we can request she joins us on our trip, if you like? The King will listen to you, you are a Holy man. He has no warriors to spare in protecting you on your Pilgrimage and these are uncertain times. Aoife proved herself to be stout of heart and also level headed. You admire her and wish to have her accompany you. Easy enough to convince him I'd wager!" 'Maybe I will catch the army up, later.'

Aye but Cow I assume refers to dairy cows, which would be female, and heifers are breeding cattle. Both are female.
`How do I pay for use of, what I assume, is the community bull? Unless... can I get a bull? (Bulls are a huge part of the Ulster Cycle)
Padraic eyes the man sideways, before nodding and patting him on the back. "Let's get you back to the Church then. You can begin to pray. I'll get us some dinner cooking, for all of us and we will await your father and the words he wishes to share with us!"
What did I do? I'm just milking this lovely reward I earned. I am now a free(range) man of Ireland. I cud stop but I don't want to. :P
Padraic catches up to the Brother and grins at him, elbowing him gently. "Come on Brother, I am a freeman tonight. We all got home and all are alive. It could always be worse!"
Damn it... I wanted to be mean, not give you a possible out. Oh well... Our cheese will be top of the line. Cruelty friesian! ;)
Don't worry, you can help us. Churning butter is hard. That can be Aoifes job. Butterwench. Has a nice ring to it.
Hell yeah! We can start a monopoly on Cows. We can open a huge dairy farm. We can make Cheese!!

Man, having Cattle rocks. I'm like a legit person now. And I can increase my herd. I can become more wealthy and all I gotta do is keep Cows? Fudge yeah! What about sheep? Pigs? Can I have Chickens?
Padraic stands there awe struck for a moment, before bowing even deeper. "My King you honour me far more than I could ever dream. I did not do this for reward but out of duty. Thank you. Your son is a strong man, your Majesty, and an honourable man. Both of them. The old man who died, during our trip was none other than Fiacre Quinn." He paused, letting this sink in before continuing. "There is more to this story your majesty but it should be only for your ears. I do not know the whole story, only my part of it, but Braedan and the Brother can fill you in more, them as being the learned men." He paused again, thinking long and hard, before speaking grudgingly. "Your majesty, if I may be so bold, Aoife was invaluable during this trip. She is a stout hearted woman who is dedicated to keeping your sons alive, even at the cost of her own life. I ask that you take that in to account when you punish her!" With that said, he bowed and fell silent.
