Braedan and Fintan were told to stay home. They don't know of Brother O'malle's plans.
On that note though, Fintan isn't exactly independent-minded. If Braedan wanted to go chasing after the Spear of Lugh, or if Ó Máille tried to drag him off to the caves... He'd follow whoever told him to come with them.

Should I (1) let you all role play to get the party going, and intervene if I feel things are becoming tediously long? I leave it to you to fill in the details or where and when and how. And of course, I will post for the king and queen and others, as needed.

To be fair, she hasn't been, as you say, a "Debbie Downer" to you guys yet! The closet you have to that is when she was telling you all to wait till the rain stopped because she wasn't going back without Fintan and Braedan. Because of their mother.

Fintan and Braedan are pretty straightforward.
If I have my facts correct, Ó Máille is pronounced O-mai
So I think Aoife -> ao-EEF?
Padraic -> pad-RAY-ik?

Braedan forced her to go. She's in love with Fintan and the king sent him on a suicide mission and Braedan had to twist her arm. GOOD ONE> LOL.
