Octavia quickly surveys the emerging battlefield, taking Ekun's words into account before beginning a series of intricate arcane gestures, the words of her spell ringing out through the cave as a rain of dirt, gravel, and small pebbles come thundering down on most of the advancing enemies filling the area with debris. "That should slow them down a bit!" she says drawing her bow.
"You'll still need to see them, love." Octavia says with a laugh, "I'm sure the trolls will come charging through any moment now... if they're tough enough.
Setting her focus on the advancing enemies, Octavia begins to gesture, tracing arcane sigils in the air as she utters words of mystic power. An acrid odor accompanies the completion of this spell as the air ahead of their formning combat line becomes opaque, a cloud of yellow-green fog springing up amid the advancing kobolds, seemingly emanating from nothing. As the cloying vapors begin to wreak havoc, the cloud slowly begins to roll forward. "Yes, hold the line and stay out of the fog, focus on anything that makes it through!" she calls out in warning to her companions.
"Perhaps if you had a new King...someone willing to work with others, things might be different." Octavia says, taking a chance that they could reach what truly appeared to be the first decent troll she'd ever met.
There was no doubt that Hargulka would have to die, and those who blindly followed him, but perhaps this didn't have to devolve into a complete war if it could be avoided. She glances over at Ekun, checking to see how the ranger who had lost so much to trolls was dealing with the turn of events.
With a silent nod, Octavia gives Reg's hand a squeeze before silently creeping forward, keen eyes alert for any sign of enemies or traps.
Moving up alongside Ekundayo, Octavia keeps a sharp eye out for secret passages or traps.

Octavia takes a step backward, casting as spell as she makes a gesture akin to firing an bow, as an arrow of pure acid coalesces, streaking through the air at the retreating troll king.
Octavia quietly translates as Jazon explains, and the troll king berates him, making sure her companions are fully aware of the trolls' likely intent.
Octavia follows, keeping a sharp eye out for any sign of treachery, and working to memorize the path in, should a rapid exit be needed.
Octavia keeps her bow in hand as they approach the troll, coming to stand a few feet behind Faerin, a position that gives her the space to draw her bow or cast a spell without putting herself in danger.
Octavia give an involuntary shudder as they listen to the conversation from a distance, the troll's booming voice carrying quite a ways. "Ugh..trolls....even the seemingly less than horrible ones are creepy. The word they use for anyone that isn't a troll...or probably other giant-kin is food!"
Octavia's eyes widen as their newly appointed Baroness seemingly abandons the plan, resuming her normal form in what she could only assume is an attempt to speak with the odd brute. The wizardess, pulls back on her bowstring, arrow held at the ready to fire should Faerin's decision prove to be folly. "She must be mad!"
"Well even sneaking up invisibly, I'd likely only get close enough to take one shot. Trolls have scent so it'll know an enemy's close by." Octavia points out. "It would still be worth trying to take it down quickly and suddenly, but we shouldn't count on not being seen for more than a few seconds."
"I can actually help with the initial attack My Lady." Octavia says, somehow managing to slip a playful smirk into the title. "I can turn invisible briefly, not for very long, but long enough to run up close and get off at least one good surprise shot, before he knows I'm there. I'll just have to put it where it counts."
Octavia returns, providing a detailed report of her scouting. "?So it definitely looks like some nefarious force manipulating all this. The likelihood of trolls and kobolds working together is practically nil, and the trolls posting a guard at a point where we have no other viable approach speaks of an intelligent leader." she says with concern.
"I'll scout the area a bit. be back soon!" Octavia says to the others quietly, as she slinks off to scout ahead, smoothly disappearing into the background.
Octavia stares at the fortress, taking in the structure and likely points of entry or exit.
Octavia proceeds to search the bodies of the slain trolls.
Octavia continues to fire flaming arrow after arrow into Dimwit's fallen body until he stops moving, finally succumbing to the accumulated damage.
Taking a step, Octavia fires another shot into Dimwit's back.
Octavia drills one of her flaming arrows into Dimwit's back, hoping to bring the former captive down.
Moving more carefully, and ready to jump out of the way at a moment's notice, Octavia distances herself from the armored troll's reach as she casts another spell, imbuing her arrows with fire.
Letting out a cry of pain as the troll manages to get her with it's extended reach, Octavia focuses her spellcasting carefully, leaving no opening to be attacked even as she breathes a sigh of relief as Harrim's healing washes over her. She extends a hand, sending an arrow of coalesced acid punching into Dimwit's back.
Moving into better position, Octavia focuses on Dimwit, seeking to protect Bartholomew
Aiming for the formerly captive troll, Octavia releases a targeted shot hoping to bring it down.
Drawing her bow, Octavia quickly chants the words of a spell, running her hands along the weapon as it thrums with power. Eyes sharp for sign of a target, she moves to just ahead of the Baroness, maintaining enough distance from the front line to give her a clear shot.
"We should definitely look into this. It could be a matter of deep importance." Octavia points out.

"So Reg, going to get that armor you've been drooling over?" Octavia asks with a smirk.

"I'm all for it, however we do it formally! Octavia adds, not overly concerned with the formalities.
I’ve got headband of vast intelligence +2, The Nymph's Gift, cloak of resistance +1 and bracers of armor +1. I’d add a Ring of Protection +1, Trapspringer gloves Also if possible I'd like to retool a bit (skills/ possibly a feat or two)
"Well said! I dare say, that last part would look wonderful on a crest." Octavia comments.
Taking in the situation, Octavia starts calling out directions to her other companions and the scrambling gnomes. "Does anyone have a crowbar or something else we can use as a lever? We can use it to pry that damned rock loose!" "Reg! Harrim! we need to tie the wagon to those trees on the bank to keep it from being swept away!" she says looking in the wagon for rope.
Unable to help with the physical task of wrangling the wagon, and with the animals being taken care of, Octavia studies the boulder jamming the wagon wheel, looking for a solution to pry it loose.
Her sights set on the troublesome kobold, Octavia sends another shot zipping toward Tartuccio as she taunts him. "What was that? I can't hear you!!"
Setting her sights on Tartuccio, Octavia releases a perfect shot, her magically amplified arrow slamming home with incredible force. " Block this one, bastard!"
Octavia quickly utters the words of a spell, running her fingers along her bow as it thrums with power.
"Well, he's certainly impulsive, isn't he?" Octavia says with a laugh, drawing her bow and running after the others. "C'mon then, let's not get left behind!" As she runs she utters a brief incantation, as a shimmer of arcane energy envelops her body, before fading to invisibility.

Octavia manages to regard the Pitaxian delegate with a level of disdain similar to his own, rolling her eyes as he goes on about his king.
I'm here. I don't currently have a Ring of Protection, but if someone who spends more time in melee needs it that's fine.
"Absolutely, Your Grace." Octavia says with a nod, sparing a concerned glance for Regongar.
