![]() Hi guys!!! I have a level 8 druid, and so far I haven't found a practical way to manage the summons from NA (and also from Summon Monster). I was wandering if was something out there that could facilitate this. If not, which would be the best way to accomplish such thing? I'd be willing to do it by myself, but I think a spreadsheet, although quick to introduce changes as Augment Summoning, wouldn't be manageable on the table during the game. So any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks!!

![]() Thanks to you all for your great advice!!! For this first event, I think we'll be running the introductory scenarios (such as The Wounded Wisp, Confirmation, In service of Lore) plus We be goblins for a little fun. After that, I'll commend my DMs to decide what they want to run, letting them know that there are simpler scenarios and that some follow certain "plot line". Thanks again, and I'll let you know how everything turned out!!! ![]()
![]() Thank you very much, Woran (I hadn't seen your previous post, seems you ninja'd me :D ). I think I'll select among the easiest ones for my two newest DMs, and then I'll check the reviews and select the related scenarios among the ones with the highest rankings, to provide some sort of continuity as an option. ![]()
![]() Thank you for your input =) There will be 5 tables, but I can't tell if they will be full. So far I've got many interested players, and there is a bit of hype about the event, but I can't really tell for sure. I'll be running The Wounded Wisp for my DMs previous to the event. One of them was interested in Master of the Fallen Fortress, but beyond that, they haven't expresed any preference. Although knowing them as I do, I think that some of them would prefer to run a few related scenarios, in an AP-ish sort of way. Is this possible? Also, will the 4th season spoil Rise of the Runelords for them? I haven't read all the scenarios. ![]()
![]() Hi guys!! I'm organizing the first event with multiples DMs in my city, and I'm having a bit of a struggle as to which scenarios I should recommend them. I already asked them for their opinion, but they rely heavily on my advice as to where they should start. I've seen many threads that organize scenarios in a row of 10-15, but they usually jump from one Season to the other, and I've got the feeling it would be a bit confusing. So, which criteria do you usually follow when it comes to choose scenarios? One DM should stick to one season? You choose many scenarios based on one region? There are a few considerations I thought about: 1- I believe that some players will stick to one DM, as in playing a traditional campaign, so there might be a bit of expectation for certain amount of continuity among scenarios. 2- I found this amazing post in the forums suggesting "simpler" scenarios for newer DMs, so I'll probably be suggesting them to my newest DM. 3- Three of my DMs are currently playing Rise of the Runelords, and I don't want to spoil them the AP. As always, I really appreciate all your support, and any advice (on whatever) is highly appreciated. Best regards!! ![]()
![]() Thank you for your advice, Dorothy!! The GM supply box sounds like a great idea, I'm definitely using it. Also, capping tables at four players is what I had in mind. Since your experience says it works fine, I'm going to go with it. I really appreciate your advice =) PS: I found a VC in my area!! Turns out he's pretty new, so that's why I hadn't found him before. ![]()
![]() First of all, I'm not in the United States. The place is a mall where we usually run some of our campaigns, there is no trouble with time. I will have some players signed up before hand, but I'll also let some slots empty for people that just turns up. Most of the players I asume will be from our club, a mix of very experienced players and newbies, between 21 and 30 years old. All the DMs are familiar with the Guide, or currently studying. I'm also running a closed event with me dming my DMs, as some sort of preview. They all have more than 6+ years of experience running different games, including Pathfinder. I'm the main organizer, but I have several people assisting me. The current schedule is a monthly event, but that can be modified according to needs. I'm expecting PFS will grow slowly. ![]()
![]() Hello, guys! I've only run a module as a PFS society, but it created a lot of buzz around here, so I've decided to gather a small group of GMs to start running tables regularly. We do not have any Venture Captains around here, so I'm pretty much doing this on my own. Am I able to do this? Is there anything that I should be considering? Any suggestion or advice will be appreciated. Thank you so much! ![]()
![]() As many of you know, my players have quite a temper each. Last session, they were arguing about some shenanigans (after the 13th argument about lunch schedule I just stop listening), when I suddenly hear: Sorcerer: ...you just can't go in there and tell them what to do!! He's the Sheriff!! I mean, his work is to keep the town safe, what do you do for a living?
I could only chuckle, I mean, there's a chapter named after it, you can't argue with that xD ![]()
![]() I put three goblin babies in the nursery. My players adopted them, two of them were sent to Turandrok Academy and the third was raised by Madame Mvashti. Here are two of them: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B639etwo9mNJcU56TmE5RnZYNjQ/edit?usp=shari ng https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B639etwo9mNJRnZlSm5fTmZFNVU/edit?usp=shari ng The sheets are Spanish, our mother tongue. ![]()
![]() My players have discovered M's prison. They have absolutely no idea what they are dealing with. I expect a very long and tiresome fight, and it's already late so I want to finish the session. Me- OK, guys, we should stop here and continue next session.

![]() Guys, another question, this time regarding Nualia's attack. Let's say that the first round she decides to make a full round attack with sword + claw. She has Fury of the Abyss, divine favor, ferocious attack and uses Power attack. Is this correct? +1 bastard sword +11 (1d10 + 8/19-20)
claw +6 (1d6 +8)
If I'm not mistaken, her ferocious strike must be activated before she attacks (and if she misses it's lost), so I believe a much wiser strategy would be use it only with her sword, to take full advantage of the power. But I apply the bonus here anyway because I'm only trying to understand the stat block. Thank you!!!! Cheers,
EDIT: She doesn't qualify to Power Attack, so I eliminated it, and corrected the enhancement bonus that doesn't stack (FotA+magic sword) ![]()
![]() I'm reposting this here, I believe it's more appropriate and maybe someone else will find it useful =) My party: Argos - halfling bard dawnflower dervish (currently level 4)
A little briefing on how the run on Thistletop went so far: Past sessions::
First day they went with Shalelu through the briars maze. They defeated all the goblins, included Gogmurt and Tangletooth. They rested on the forest. The next session started with only two players, Argos and Gimmistramo, with Shalelu, and Roff starting a bit later. They killed the commandos and the dogs from outside the fort, and cleaned it, except from the throne room. The following session the entire party + Shalelu defeated Ripnugget and the rest, and decided to bring the chief alive to Sandpoint to interrogate him. They rested in town. Yet another session: they returned to Thistletop (without Shalelu), defeated the two ghouls that turned up as random encounter, and went to the island. I locked the outer door, added commandos to the towers, and got Bruthazmus shooting arrows from the tower to the half elf, and then to go inside to warn Lyrie and Tsuto (who is still alive). They killed the goblins, got inside, killed Lyrie rather quickly (in part because I forgot to use mirror image *facepalm*) and defeated Tsuto and tied him. Lyrie still managed to complicate their lives a bit: the cleric got -4 to her STR and a sundered hammer, heh. The ranger missed (again) the following session: the rest defeated the tentamort, 2 yeth hounds, the four wives and allied with Orik. They called the guards (they told the Sheriff to send three of his men after them after a while) to babysit them while they sleep (yes, INSIDE Thistletop) and locked themselves inside the prison. So, right now I have three, possibly four players, with a cleric that basically can't do any damage, but totally rested. They won't bring Orik nor the guards with them (and I won't allow it). On the other corner I have Nualia, Bruthazmus and a yeth hound. I want the fight to be tough, but I do not want to TPK them. I was thinking to maximize everyone's HP, maybe adding another yeth hound. Maybe Nualia will be expecting them in the deck, with Bruthazmus coming a few rounds later on a surprise attack from the back. What do you think, guys? Any suggestion, thought, advice is welcomed. Thank you very much!!! Cheers,

![]() Ah, Misroi lovable advices on how to ruin player's lifes (L). IMHO, I would let them. I do not know your players, but in my case, forbiding it would only cause frustration -even resentment-, mainly because I think they believe it's a lot better idea than it really is. 'They will tie them outside the town' Sure, because nobody will notice that, right? Are you seriously telling me that Shalelu won't eventually find out about this? What are they doing when they arrive to Turtleback Ferry? Won't their enemies get intel on this conspicuous undead army and be ready for them? I see a lot of plot holes ahead when they try to get along with this. I agree with Latrecis: use it ALL. Have fun with it -OK, I agree, in a kind of sadistic way, but it can be really fun. And a little advice I learned recently (you can check my post asking desperatly for help): be a little ruthless. Do not forgive their mistakes, do not go easy on the ranger, hit back with everything you have. And then, you'll realise they didn't break the game, since you have a lot more of resources available than them. ![]()
![]() William, I'm so sorry I never answered you. The thing is, I read your response on time, and found it pretty useful. Things got a lot better. From time to time, some trouble arises, but I know how to handle it. I learnt sometimes I need to be a bit ruthless, but that's ok, since it's what will keep the game fun. Thanks again to all of you for taking the time to answer me. Cheers,

![]() Ahhh I had forgotten about the DEX bonus. I don't know, I wasn't supposed to be the tank of the party, nor the melee damage dealer, and I really don't like heavy armor... It would be a -3 difference between the armors. I don't know. Anyways, I should be deciding quickly since I have to finish the PC advancement in the next 40 minutes xD ![]()
![]() Well, I'm going to ignore the guys saying that THEY are not offended. Like that's a shocker. I'm a girl. I'm currently playing Kingmaker and GMing Rise of the Runelords. So far, in bpth APs, there have been 2 quests that may develop into a sexual or romantic relationship: both female. The portrayal of women in Kingmaker is... dissapointing. For those that you do not know the AP, they are all hookers or ladies willing to go to bed with our heroes or unsatisfied house wives. My female char's best friend is a kobold, since is the only NPC she could relate with, being not interested in getting laid. Oh, and please, stop underestimating gamer girls: I'm currently organizing the first PFS in my country. ![]()
![]() Guys, I just leveled my druid to 7, and I'm struggling with my animal companion advancement. I should go from this:
to this:
plus this from the animal companion table:
Besides, there is the Ability Score Increase at level 4 that adds a +1 to any ability. My doubts are as follows:
Thanks for your help, and I'm sorry if these questions seem pretty dumb, but Pathfinder stats blocks are always giving me headaches... u.u Cheers,

![]() Thank you ver much guys, that's a lot of info, a lot of which I hadn't considered. So I will go now to do my homework!! PS: I suddenly got a dragonhide breastplate, so I'm enchanting it. It's only +6, but allows me my full DEX bonus, and since I won't be needing Heavy Armor Prof, I can use that feat slot for Dodge. That way, I would be getting +9 against the +10 of the full plate, and I never liked heavy armor anyways. ![]()
![]() I can provide the full build to make it easier: Elanna - Human Druid 6
DEFENSE AC 18, touch 16, flat-footed 12 (+4 armor, +2 Dex, +1 natural)
OFFENSE Speed 30 ft.
STATISTICS Str 12, Dex 14, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 18, Cha 10
I'm a bit lazy right now to transcribe Amra's stats, but she's a big cat and has a mw chain shirt (I was considering a mythril one, since our fighter is now a smith). So, any advice will be welcome, including that not regarding only equipment. Thank you very much!!! =) ![]()
![]() Hi guys! I'm currently playing Kingmaker, almost finishing the 2nd book. I did what every guide says you shouldn't do with a druid: that would be, playing a mixed druid. Yeah, that's me >.< So let me tell you a bit about Elanna: she has Amra as an animal companion (cat, big, MW chainshirt, amulet natural armor +1), and together they are half the tanks, half the damage dealers. Elanna's damage is based mainly in spells, since the AC during wildshape it's just too fragile to be frontline hitting. I had the idea to fix this with a wild armor, but it just seems so imposible, I'm now doubting. Should I go for it? What armor should I enchant? My other gear is a MW buckler, a headband of inspired wisdom and an amulet of natural armor +1. What other equipment should I be getting? Any advice will be really appreciated. Cheers!!! Nyn ![]()
![]() Hi guys!! I've been overwhelmed with work these past few months, but I expect I'll have some free time during the next weeks. As soon as I can, I'll be updating (and reorganizing) the list of resources. In the meantime, if any of you knows the author of any of the fallen links, please give them a shout. Maybe we can retrieve some of the lost resources. ![]()
![]() The party has killed all the Glassworks goblins, and they descend to the Smuggler's tunnels. The cleric goes first, and looks down the corner. Cleric: What do I see? *rolls perception and fails again T's stealth'.
