OMG I just realised my players put a picture of a DUDE on the description of Sabyl Sorn on the wiki *facepalm*

Guys, I'm compiling all the links to add the maps already compiled by Digital Mystic, but it's taking me some time (checking the links, trying to contact the authors of the unavailable links, etc.). I hope I'll be finishing it by the weekend.

Well, I'm going to ignore the guys saying that THEY are not offended. Like that's a shocker.

I'm a girl. I'm currently playing Kingmaker and GMing Rise of the Runelords. So far, in bpth APs, there have been 2 quests that may develop into a sexual or romantic relationship: both female. The portrayal of women in Kingmaker is... dissapointing. For those that you do not know the AP, they are all hookers or ladies willing to go to bed with our heroes or unsatisfied house wives. My female char's best friend is a kobold, since is the only NPC she could relate with, being not interested in getting laid.

Oh, and please, stop underestimating gamer girls: I'm currently organizing the first PFS in my country.

The party has killed all the Glassworks goblins, and they descend to the Smuggler's tunnels. The cleric goes first, and looks down the corner.

Cleric: What do I see? *rolls perception and fails again T's stealth'.
Me: You look down the corridor and see nothing.
Cleric: I'm a dwarf, I've got dark-vision!
M: Well, you look down the corridor. It's dark, and you see nothing.
C: I don't see anything?!??!?! It's magical darkness!!!
M: No, I mean...
C: WE'RE ALL DOOMED!!!
M: ... I mean that you see it's emp...
C: WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!
M: I give up.

I'm wondering, isn't there another tunnel/cave that ends on the Junkyard beach? The one filled with goblin trash. I believe it's how the goblins and Tsuto entered the Catacombs and the Glass works (since all the other tunnels are dead-ends).

One of my go-to plays is to bring out children. My players might ignore an old crusty farmer asking for help, but a crying child saying, "Mommy ate daddy" is going to get them running.

This kind of advice is why I love this forums so much. And you, guys. I love you too. And I'm not drunk, I swear.

I've created a little replica of some of the pages from Tsuto's diary. If they capture him, they should find it. And maybe, just maybe, pay attention to the quasit part. I also put random drawings of Bruthazmus and Lyrie, just for fun xD

Oh, BuzzardB, you're gonna make me blush :$ Thank you for your compliments.

Anyway, here's a little something I made. I took Yossarian NPC list, made a few changes, and turned them into printable cards, player friendly. In one side is the portrait of the NPC, and in the other one there's a brief description. There's so many people in Sandpoint, I wanted to make each NPC unique. The characters from the first book that appear in the Official Deck are also included, since the mail already lost two copies of the deck I ordered >.>

So, taking Chow'd Mouse and BuzzardB work and actualizing it. The addons by BuzzarB are at the end of each section, the latest contributions added by me are tagged NEW at the begginingof the line.
BBCode at the end of the post in the spoiler tag, please, if you're re-posting this, post the code to make work easier for the next person =)
None of this belongs to me!! Thank you so much to everyone that contributed, you guys are awesome.
In addition, some of this is not suitable for work (for example stuff related to Tsuto's journal) so ye be warned.
Additions, questions, comments, corrections welcome. Please MP if you have anything to say!!!

Hi guys!!! The idea of joining the PFS has been growing lately, but I really don't know where to start.

There aren't Regional Coordinators in my country, so there are no events. I'd like to start running the modules (I already have the players), but not sure what to do. Should I just post an Event on the Event page as a DM? Or do I need a RC?

Thank you so much for the answers!!

So, I wasn't going to create this thread, but what the heck, let's all have fun and later I'll deal with the guilt trips.

I've run only the first session so far, and my players already came up with this:

1- Cyrdak is an evil villain, who must be watched closely.

2- They'll be facing the Sandpoint Evil really soon.

3- They'll have an undead guide (seriously, I have NO idea where this came from. One of my players told this to a friend in common who is also running the campaign, it was so hilarious that he sent it forward to me).

4- Ameiko is a major plot character (I believed they will be very dissapointed about this).

5- And my favourite: Norah is a mystic fish that will adivinate things for them.

I used the games for the Swallowtail festival and the speeches from this forum, and apparently anything that takes 15 seconds of my time to describe is a major plot point.

They seriously need to stop... I don't know, allucinating??

On the other hand, they have already realised that someone is behind the goblins attacks, and that the fire may be related.

So, do you have any fun theories?

It's great to see a lot of new material regarding fey. I've always played with pcs having some sort of connection with these creatures, so these resources are more than welcomed. Also, $2,99 is a killer price ;-)

Hi guys! Been reading the forums for almost a year now (yeah, stalking :P ) and always found a lot of help around here for my pcs, so when a couple months ago decided to start directing RotR, sounded just right to ask for your help once more =)
I've run other games and small adventures for Pathfinder, usually with my boyfriend as a player, who helped me a lot with the rules, but this is the first AP I'm directing. I'm familiar as how to play monsters and bad guys, and how to read an AP. For now, I'm corcerned about two main issues:

1- I've played so far 2 APs, the lousiest run of Carrion Crown ever (that ended in a TPK and our DM didn't want to keep directing) and Kingmaker, still running. The thing is, usually we don't know much about the setting. For example, my Kingmaker druid Elanna, heavily involved with Erastil, didn't know much about him until I discovered Gods and magic a few months ago. So, I'd like to run things differently with RotR. I already handed my players the two Player's guides, Varisia: birthplace of legends, and Gods and magic. One of them (sorcerer gnome) is reading Gnomes of Golarion and another one (halfling bard downflower dervish) is reading Faiths of purity. Can you think of anything else that could help with the setting? I also recommended the bard Faiths and philosophies. I think knowing the setting could really help them, and also is more fun. =)(And I love goodies!!!)

2- The difficulty of the AP. So far we have a gnome sorcerer of fire and a halfling bard downflower dervish. Is a cleric a must? Obviously a tank is out of discussion, but the fourth char worries me. They know APs are made for the typical party, and I wouldn't have troubles adapting the difficulty in case they chose any other class, but I'm afraid they may get stuck without a divine caster. (Oh, btw, my intention is to get to end of the AP).
Regarding skills, they already covered Knowledge Religion, Geography, Dungeoneering, History and Arcana. Do they *really* need anything else?
And the last one: they know about giants and dungeons, anything else I should tell them (keeping spoilers to a minimum)?

So, thank you very much in advanced, and I'm hoping you will ignore my pityful English >.<

Cheers!
