DC 16 Will save with a -2 penalty. If she succeeds I have a +2 to AC against her, if she fails I have +2 to AC, Attacks, and damage. Every time she misses me with an attack, the bonus increases by one (max +5)

Nisha will cast heightened awareness and go in with the rest of the crew.

"Sounds like we can do something about that. After all we did just kill an undead gold-plated dragon. One elf wizard might not be too much of a problem."

Nisha nods with everything that Angela says.

So we sleeping and healing up? I thought I saw someone said they took care of healing? Because I am at less than half health.

Nisha looks like she might stare at Golthwur again and make him relive her life for a second time, but decided against it and instead gingerly gets out her camping gear, wincing as her hands are still sore from hanging on to the ledge for so long.

"Yes, that is essentially correct," Golthwur concedes. "But, then, you do have some modicum of magical means, I suppose."

"I, on the other hand, am a Maestro of Magic and Instrumentalist of Incantations!" he concludes, looking quite literally to toot his own horn.

”You sure Golthwur? I seem to recall taking a class on essentially tricking magic items into working, even if you don’t know the proper magic. What was it called? Using Magic Devices?” Nisha smiles at the wizard.

The Dragon suddenly stops in its tracks, yawning without lungs. You have the chance to regroup. But I think we'll need to be initiative because Calm Emotions is rounds

Also remember, because it is undead, every round it has a 50% chance to ignore the calm emotions, so yes, we are still in rounds, but it might give us a few rounds to heal and regroup.

Nisha will try that trick again

Attempt to cast Calm Emotions on the dragon. Because of Psychic Inception this has a chance to work even though he is (presumably) undead. If he fails the will save (DC 16 with a -2 penalty from the stare) then he has a 50% chance each round of being affected by calm emotions.

On a side note, the only thing first edition says that I can find about bull rush is either that there is no save (it doesn't mention one) or that you can't bull rush people into 'an obstacle' so . . . either I'm dead or I'm just fine at the edge of the bridge and he can't knock me off.

Personally I find a single roll where the dragon is all but guaranteed to auto kill you is pretty stupid, but that would hardly be the first time the game included auto-kill gotcha tactics in scenarios.

okay, one more question, aft reading through fog cloud, it seems that if fairie fire cuts through it is an open question. Only asking because my damage if for some reason precision damage and you can't do precision damage with concealment unless you have a headband of ninjutsu.

I must have made a mistake then and cast Fairie Fire on yellow? I can only see 5 feet in front of me in this mist.

As stated before, even though stares are a mental effect, I can affect mindless things because of psychic inception which allows painful stare to work. If I fail to hit the next time orange would take damage, he takes 3 extra.
I know bludgeoning does more damage. If the DR proves to be too much I’ll start biting, but I’m less accurate with that.

This the first time Nisha has really gotten to go ham on fights. Usually there is a Barbarian or something that one shots it before I can do my thing.

Regarding leaving or resting:

I have used a grand total of 1 level 1 spell, so I am good to keep going. Not sure about everyone else.
