"Well, it was certainly an adventure, wasn't it?" Myrdon throws his legs up on Aegis and leans back on the couch. Aegis, roosting on the floor, throws a glance up at its master then goes back to preening its feathers. Myrdon continues, disregarding the fact that the bird has no idea what he is saying. "Imagine that. Corruption within the upper echelons of the Society! Who would have imagined that?" Even when talking to himself (or to Aegis), he still speaks with sarcasm.

"Well, but looks like our task here is done, ain't it, little birdie. Time to move on." He pauses here briefly before continuing with a lower voice, a more serious voice, a voice with a catch in his throat. "Time to keep on to hunting." Perhaps for eternity, but how do I stop?

Next morning, Marta, Luisila, Fendahl and Vladek wake to find a rather large feather, mostly brown but speckled with white, on each of their respective dresser tables. Oh, and one for Qadathra, too!

Farewell, all! And seeing there's a strong chance this might be the last time I play with Myrdon, farewell to you, too! You shall always have a special place in my heart. Which is probably why I recreated you in Pathfinder: Kingmaker. :)

Resist fire is still on, right?

"Hey, what are you doing to my poor bird?" Myrdon calls out, although he quickly realises that Aegis is not badly hurt. He then realises how precarious a position he is in and quickly flies up into the air.

Taking a quick look around, he decides not to disturb the fun that Marta is having and instead turns to the doppelganger that fled from Aegis. "Oh no you don't!"

Myrdon points his finger as the creature as arcane energy seizes it.

"Oh no you don't, you foul being!" Myrdon yells out as dramatically as he can. Flying overhead to get close enough for his spell, he calls out "බල පවුර!" as a shimmering wall of force appears between Shemis and Adril, stretching to the ceiling!

Cast wall of force. Not sure how high the ceiling actually is, but I can form 13x10-ft squares, so the area indicated, if ceiling is 10ft, is only 4. Will make it larger for the comfort of Shemis if I have squares to spare.

Before Myrdon (or Aegis it seems) are ready, the lever was thrown and both of them got a full blast of frigid air. "Ah, I wasn't ready yet!!!" Still, Luisila's healing is welcomed.

Myrdon will use his wand of infernal healing on themselves. Not sure whether enough time for complete healing.

Ah, with that hint from GM, I take it that the shortest way to get the doors to align would have been 3 pulls. Based on my theory that the exit is either W or NW, I believe that 3 pulls, each turning 1/8 clockwise, would have gotten the red room's outer door to the W. So I think we need to go to the red room, pull the left lever to turn it 1/8 clockwise to solve.

The summoned erinyes has true seeing also and I did tell her to report what she saw? But maybe I wasn't specific enough.

Hmm, I wonder if if the room rotates when the erinyes pulled the levers. She was walking, not flying. But then, would she have mentioned it if I didn't explicitly tell her to? Hmm...

Myrdon cringes as Marta gets ready to pull the lever. "Well, one is as good as another. For now at least. Can someone please quickly figure this out?"

My working theory, based just off the shape of the map, is that we need to be in either the red or green room, while rotating everything until their respective outer door is facing W or NW. We are now in the green room which is good (pending whatever trap we're facing). Assuming W, that means each rotation turns one-eighth of a revolution. Which means the green room exterior door is now facing N? (But I might have lost track.) But I'm also confused why the room didn't rotate when the erinyes was pulling the levers?

(By the way, have anyone attempted to locate the traps in each of the door? Marta could try to disarm them if we can find it?)

Myrdon cringes as Marta pulls the lever, fulling expecting something to go boom. Instead, it went zap. He was quick enough to dodge on big bolt but still is left smoking after a myriad of other strikes passes through. He glances rather enviously at Aegis who had somehow, despite the tight quarters, spun away from all the lightning. He bows dramatically to Luisila in thanks for her healing.

"Let Marta try the door first. I would rather not get zapped, flamed, poisoned or acided." Myrdon looks anxiously around the room.

Myrdon looks very tentatively around the room. "Are we really sure this is such a good idea? Crowding ourselves together in small rooms that we know are likely trapped?"

"Hmm, why not I summon another erinyes, but this time with instructions to throw the levers in the rooms about at random and report what happens to us? With about a minute or so, that is quite a number of levers flipped."

(So instead of directing the summon step by step, just flick levers up and down for each room so that we can discern the pattern before stepping in? But if you guys want to start exploring the rooms directly, I'm fine, too.)

"One summon coming right up!" Myrdon seems to recover rather quickly from his earlier melancholy and turns to the business at hand. Waving his hands in the air in some cryptic sequence and mumbling some bizarre sounds, he finally yells out, "One erinyes in your service!"

"Oh, it's you again," Myrdon mumbles as a hauntingly dark figure appear with black wings. "Be a dear and help take a look at that room, and see what is beyond. Let us know what what you see, yah? And oh, can you walk rather than fly in? Stay in touch," he ends, tapping his temple meaningfully.

To dispel attention, he follows Marta to examine the strange gemstone, with Aegis in tow, of course. With the remnants of his telekinesis spell, he nudges the gemstone and the chains (from a very, very safe distance) to see if that elicits any reactions.
