Did the pit move through tehe spaces that blue and green are? If they are captured by the pit will they be dragged along? If so I need to know where they end up before Marta can move.

I can't find the durn faction mission, and was just going off memory from April(?) about what it said.

I didn't remember the bit about the need to retrieve it in secret.

I think the longsword is a martial weapon and, unfortunately, inquisitors are not good at that sort of thing. So take it with my blessing at least.

Yea, I wasn't actually asking to bot those spells, I was more or less trying to make it easy for him to reply to the message with the ones he wanted to do in case he could grab as moment or two while on vacation.

This next scene is rather unique, and requires some modification to how we normally do things for PbP.

Rather than have you post your turns in the game thread, I am going to PM each of you when it is your turn. You will tell me your actions, then I'll go to the next person. Occasionally I will post in the game thread, but we may go for some time between seeing things there. Please make sure to watch PMs as regularly you do the campaign. It will make sense as I get to each of you, so just be patient. ;-)

Because of the nature of this encounter, I will be controlling the animal companions and familiars. I will use what I have observed from how you play them to take the actions I think are most appropriate until you reach the point where you can effectively communicate with them again.

Until further notice, if you have questions, please PM them to me. If they affect the entire group, I will post here with a response. That way there are no spoilers about whose turn it currently is.

Just so I know everyone has seen this and is ready, please go ahead and post an acknowledgement here.

Seriously, you'll understand when your turn comes up, but it's important not to know in what order your turns are being taken.

Definitely entertaining - waiting to see if all my guesses were correct. :)

What I find interesting is how much we rely on communication to co-ordinate the teamwork that goes on in Pathfinder and PbP.

I didn't enjoy the confusion of Round 1 much, but this has been a unique encounter that I will likely remember for a long time.

Was I able to get anything? You'll recall I tried to once I figured out there weren't any traps and the Blood itself wasn't too dangerous.

I never heard you say you were actually going to attempt to take it ... most people were against it and I didn't see anything from you otherwise. If you want to go back, you can.

Since there'd been some miscommunication, I'm hoping we can 'retcon' that I'd already done it, but just so long as I don't wind up falling more than a step behind in doing so (looks like we've all just been standing around while Myrdon scouts in the meantime), that is still what I'd like to do.
