Hi People, I need your help.
I have a Monk Elf Seer Elf, i buy a flaming Star
My intention was to use it as a secondary attack in case I needed ranged options, or to enhance it for melee attacks. The problem is that it needs to be activated using Cast a Spell.
And here's the issue:
Since I'm a Seer Elf, I innately have Detect Magic, which in theory should grant me Cast a Spell, but my GM says it doesn't.
Does Seer Elf give you access to Cast a Spell?
Hi.
I have a question.
Repair Action is it used to repair magic items?
how repair? with Repair Action or another way?
I was translate this scenario, when i observed that don´t have a Secondary Objetives, Is a errata?

I have a question
In step 7 in Kingdom creation say:
Quote: On the kingdom sheet, record the leader you assigned to each role and indicate the four roles you invested. Record a +1 status bonus to the skill associated with each invested role’s key ability, and record the four skills that your nation received training in. This +1 status bonos is my question.
in LEADERSHIP ROLES say:
Quote: Some benefits require that a role be invested. In step 7 of Kingdom Creation (page 510), the players select 4 leadership roles to be invested; at the start of each Kingdom turn, they may reselect the roles that are invested (see Assign Leadership Roles on page 537). Note that when certain companions detailed in the Kingmaker Companion Guide hold the leadership roles listed in their entry in that book, those roles are automatically invested; this is in addition to the four roles the players choose to invest. My question is...
if a PC change a leadership rol with the Assign Leadership Roles action, this +1 status bonus change to the new role’s key ability or is it keeps in the old role’s key ability?
Thanks

I have a question,
when you ride a animal companion, do you use the normal mounted combat rules? specifically the part "Consequently, you share a multiple attack penalty."
Good guys, a query, my players have asked me for a romance system for companions or other npc that they like, the problem is that in this kind of topics I am not very good and neither in favor when it comes to roleplaying, does anyone have any romance system?
Hi, i need advice,
In the today game, i have a problem. A criature have 2 Weaknesses, Slashing 3 and Fire 3, the player used Spellstrike with a Greatsword with Produce Flame,
My question, in the same hit the 2 Weaknesses is activated?
Hi guys, i have a question
Alternative Ability Boosts from 4th reprint is legal for society?
Thanks.
I have a question.
A summoner share feat with the eidolon?

A human summoner with Cooperative Nature feat, their eidolon can benefit that bonus feat?
A question
Infernal Wound (divine, necromancy) A bearded devil’s glaive Strike also deals 1d6 persistent bleed damage that resists attempts to heal it. The flat check to stop the bleeding starts at DC 20. The DC is reduced to 15 only if the bleeding creature or an ally successfully assists with the recovery.
The DC to Administer First Aid to a creature with an infernal wound is increased by 5. A spellcaster or item attempting to use healing magic on a creature suffering from an infernal wound must succeed at a DC 21 counteract check or the magic fails to heal the creature.
And
Stop Bleeding Attempt a Medicine check on a creature that is taking persistent bleed damage, giving them a chance to make another flat check to remove the persistent damage. The DC is usually the DC of the effect that caused the bleed.
Infernal wound no have a initial DC.
what would be the DC check?

I have a question,
in downtime i can craft a item
when can i start to craft a item level 4?
I confuse with The Wriggling Man's stategic.
Before Combat The Wriggling Man casts mind blank every day, and activates his ring of invisibility as soon .......
Ok, this part I understand....
The Wriggling Man keeps in motion, flying around the room invisibly as a move action after each time he casts an attack spell on the PCs each round so that it’s difficult to track his position.
this is the part that i don't understand.
the invisibly from a Ring of invisibility is continuous or break when attacks?
I need an advice.
I have a monk and I got her a +1 shuriken Striking Returning.
and, i have a problem,
the shuriken is a Martial weapon with trait monk (among other), and my question is...
Can i use the +1 shuriken Striking Returning with Flurry of Blows action?
If is positive. Do I need 1 or 2 shurikens?
If is negative. Do i need the feat Monastic Weaponry?
Or, If I'm wrong, how could I use it?
If it is true that it will not be my primary attack mode, it is more to cover a lack that my PC has right now.

Jolting Arc (Ex) Once every 1d4 rounds as a standard action, a patrol-class security robot can shoot an arc of electricity at up to four creatures within 40 feet ....
in my scene, i have, 3 players and an Unattended weapon (from a player).
with this hability.... Can I designate the unattended weapon as a target?
A question,
if you knocked prone. Do you drop anything you hold in your hands?
Or should it be specified in the action that knocks prone?

A somewhat difficult subject to deal with. I know the rule of suffocation and drowning when the environment is 0 oxygen. The problem comes when you want to use that rule, to get immunity to inalated poisons.
I have had games, where covering your mouth and nose with a cloth can give you a bonus, I am in favor of that if you choose to hold your breath to double that bonus, but never give immunity.
To what extent can you twist the rules to make them in your favor? I can understand that in a game certain factors are not taken into account such as the stress that a person should have in that situation, and that from the comfort of your home and having minutes to think about the next turn, when within the game, the decision is up to seconds (6 to be exact).
The specific scene is, you are in a building full of smoking corpses, because you have "seen" them die a few minutes ago, you have the pressure that something wants to kill you, but you do not see it and you cannot face it (because it is attacking remotely), room that you enter, room that has a different environmental problem, and when you are close to the exit, a trap attacks you, removes the environmental protection so that the inflamed poison affects you, and the player, with all his blood cold and unaware of the environment say, I hold my breath.
When I denied it, he put me in a bad way.
Remind me that there is a rule of holding your breath.
And while that rule exists, it is located in suffocation and drowning, in how to survive underwater. (to my understanding, in environments with 0 oxygen).
After the talk that I have released, because i had to release it.
My question is, to what extent should a player be allowed to give benefits that do not exist or to twist a regulation so that, by keeping him happy, he can spoil a game for you?

It's funny how such a basic rule gives me trouble after so long.
In pathfinder 1e I know how ranged attacks work, a square is chosen, 4 lines are drawn to each of the corners of the objective and if one is interrupted the objective has cover.
In general terms, I am not going to get into specific things.
But in starfinder I can not understand it,
Can you help me?
In pag 245:
Ranged Attacks: With a ranged weapon, you can shoot or otherwise attack a target that is within the weapon’s maximum range and in your line of effect (see page 271).
Pag 271:
Line of effect: A line of effect is a straight, unblocked path that indicates what an attack or ability can affect. A line of effect is blocked by a solid barrier that can stop the effect in question (such as a wall, for most effects), but it is not blocked by purely visual restrictions (such as smoke or darkness). You cannot have line of effect that exceeds planetary range, unless otherwise indicated. You must have a clear line of effect to any creature or object
you wish to target or to any space in which you wish to create an effect without an area. (What follows this paragraph is for attacks in the area, at the moment, that does not interest me.)
Here they explain what a line of effect is, but not how it is formed or calculated.
I originally used the rules of Path 1 while learning how to better use Star, but ...
Pag 253. Example for cover.
#2: Obozaya is adjacent to the ksarik, but lines from every corner of her square to all the corners of the ksarik’s square pass through or run along the border of a wall, so the ksarik has cover from her. Using the same rules, she has cover from the ksarik, so she can make a ranged attack without provoking an attack of opportunity from it.
This example is the one that breaks all the schemes.
If I apply the Pathfinder 1 rules (which I shouldn't) it would be a clean shot.
But in the example it puts cover, so I have the feeling that I misinterpret some rule, but I don't know which one.
Please help.
If a monster have for example, DR 5/- and player make no type damage (for example, damage from Inject Nanobots spell or a Psychic-Wave Cannon I weapon)
Does DR apply?

I found a starship weapon, and doubts assail me.
The weapon is Greaser, a weapon with the Irradiate (medium) Special Properties.
Irradiate:
A weapon with this special property creates a wave of harmful radiation (see page 403) that penetrates shields and starship hulls. Living creatures on a starship struck by an irradiating weapon are subjected to the level of radiation noted in parentheses for 1d4 rounds of starship combat.
then,
Radiation
Radiation is a very real threat to adventurers, whether it’s the radiation emitted from stars or the radiation generated by various technological wonders of the universe. Radiation is a poison effect (see page 414) that weakens an affected creature’s Constitution and can also inflict an affected creature with a disease called radiation sickness. Radiation dangers are organized into four categories: low, medium, high, and severe. The effects of these categories of radiation are described on Table 11–8: Radiation Levels.
In this case es Medium CD 17.
but, if my player hit me With this weapon, how do I calculate the saving throw for my crew?
a template enemy starship npc don´t have this information.
Thanks for the help.
Hi,
do you know if there is any boon to gain access to the drow race?
I want to become a Drow doctor to determine natural deaths even if the deceased has died from 15 shots. xD
My players bring me upside down, the last one is, that they want to travel with the starship always with their shields raised because they allege that there are always ship combats and that way they cannot be ambushed and they do not lose arming shields, ( and weapons) and can attack earlier.
Any ideas?
As far as I know, I know that ships do not travel with raised shields and armed weapons. But I can't get the players to see it.
As a move action during combat, you can designate a foe for your exocortex to track. As long as that target is in sight, the exocortex feeds you telemetry, vulnerabilities, and combat tactics, ....
I have a question, what mean "combat tactics"?
For example.
DEVOURER RECRUITS (2) CR 1/2
TACTICS
During Combat The recruits follow Raval’s orders (given in Abyssal) to move between Raval and the PCs. The recruits then spend their actions firing pistols at the weakest armored targets first.
Morale The recruits fight until Raval is slain and the recruit is reduced to 6 Hit Points or less, at which point that Devourer recruit surrenders
this is?
It is curious that at this point I have to ask this question.
A player mine enter in a room, senses problems, and say
"Roll a Percepcion Skill"
and I ask.
"What's you search?"
"All"
he said with a single roll on Percepcion he can see secrets doors, listen errant monster, see tramps, see hidden treasure...
Is correct? Because as far as I know, you can only do one thing at a time.
Critical Success You do outstanding work. Gain the amount of currency listed for the task level + 1 and your proficiency rank.
When you have a Critical Success in Earn Income, in the table 4-2, this +1 affect to Task Level and Proficiency Rank?
For example, I use Earn Income a Trained Lore Warfare, Level 0 CD 14, i have a Critical Success, in the table use the result Level 1 and the Expert column?
Hello. A question.
What happens if a PC cast Command Undead to a undead NPC who is already under the influence that this spell the another spellcaster?

In order not to distort a thread, due to my oversight, I will open a thread with the pertinent question.
i have a question.
Ah, a question, attack to someone in fleeing because activate the moral (low hp and he dont die) is a Evil action?
I, how GM, i said, yes. You?
User lemeres was kind enough to answer my question but when I got the wrong thread I had to change it and I would like to continue here.
lemeres wrote: I think it depends on the situation.
Even if an enemy flees, he might still represent a threat- not in the immediate situation, but in absolute terms. An assassin might come back to try again while you are sleeping. And if the person is a known serial killer, he might go out and kill again after fleeing.
Now, if the person fleeing is the town drunk that foolishly picked a fight with you at the bar... yeah, that might be evil. He seems to have realized his mistake by that point.
the Adventure Path has the option to make recurrent villains, or not. All enemy has a Moral, (my players no), (damn, I can't access certain pages on my work computer)
Examples:
1-Morale - Kressle attempts to flee south to the Stag Lord’s fort if brought below 5 hit points, but if it’s obvious that she can’t escape the PCs, she fights to the death.2-Morale - Happs knows that his position as second-in-command is tenuous at best and won’t back down from a fight in front of his men—as long as one other bandit can see him, he fights to the death. If all other bandits are slain, Happs flees or surrenders immediately if he’s taken any damage (or immediately upon suffering any damage otherwise).3-Morale If reduced to 20 hit points or fewer, the ninja drink their potions of cure serious wounds. If reduced to 8 hit points or fewer after this point, the ninja commit seppuku (ritual suicide by performing a self-inflicted coup de grace with their katanas) rather than submit to capture.4-Morale If more than half of the mohrgs are killed, the survivors attempt to escape so they can continue hunting their prey later. If cornered in this room, the mohrgs fight until destroyed.5-Morale Morale Tyg-Titter-Tut flees if she takes any damage at all.
in this point, i am aware that each case must be treated individually. I don´t seek a moral dissolution, only to establish a standard line on what is evil or not.
1)example of NPC symbolizing bigotry or territorial. Make easy to play.
2)example of NPC that surrender o flee, and he can back or not.
3)example of NPC when their morale is active, he kill himseld, (easy how "1")
4)example of NPC use tactical retreat. (maybe, the principal)
5)example of NPC that dont want a die.
Ok, as core:
Good characters and creatures protect innocent life. Evil characters and creatures debase or destroy innocent life, whether for fun or profit.
Evil implies hurting, oppressing, and killing others. Some evil creatures simply have no compassion for others and kill without qualms if doing so is convenient. Others actively pursue evil, killing for sport or out of duty to some evil deity or master.
also add as evil cast spell with evil tag.
A good and (maybe) neutral PC don´t want kill or slay the enemy, if the enemy is how example 1 o 3, wellcome, xD.
here in Spain We have a saying "A enemigo que huye, puente de plata", i dont know the english version, its translation is, "A fleeing enemy, silver bridge". Meaning: Recommend avoiding enemies at all costs. When an opponent leaves, it is convenient to give him facilities to leave and, in this way, leave us alone. In general, it is recommended to facilitate, even in a gifted way, the departure of a competitor or someone who may cause us harm.
and this is when we have the problem.
as well indicated lemeres, "Even if an enemy flees, he might still represent a threat- not in the immediate situation," (example 4) but, how a player can make diference between examples 2,4 or 5.? Answer, they can't.
For me, Flee is a panic state similarly interpretable to surrender, in the same way the PCs can´t to know NPC´s thoughts, a NPC can`t know a PC's thoughts, The few times I see an NPC surrender, he usually does a style reference, he gives up assuming the PCs' good aptitude will spare his life.
how always, depend the situation.
in this concrete situation,
A npc active her morale and flee, (maybe example 2, maybe example 4, maybe example 5) the archer, to see, shoot an arrow and kill him.
ok, how GM, i want to know the motivation to make this, when the encounter was over.
Player explanation LN archer, "if he try kill me, i kill him" (what troll logic is this, clarify that this player states that lethal attacks are evidence of wanting to kill and non-lethal are evidence of not wanting to kill. and he doesn't understand why sometimes you have to make non-lethal attacks trying not to kill an NPC when he makes lethal attacks on you.)
Player 2 explanation (don't remember Alignment, good maybe). "if we don´t kill him, (escape reference) you don´t give us exp and drops" (WHAT THE FU..? seven years play with me to pathfimder, and still haven't you learn that the experience is given by properly overcoming a scene and not by being serial killers?)
ainx. for me, and in the absence of a coherent justification, I consider this an evil action.
for example 2,4 and 5, if a coherent justification, for me, is a evil action.
I know it depends on the situation and all that, but to make some general lines, what do you think? and I put it as a rules question, because it affects the mechanics of Alignment Steps and its decision can change the alignment and playing with certain classes such as Cleric or Paladin can affect. oh, now that I mention it, the paladin has a separate ethical behavior, so let's ignore examples of paladins.
Maybe, for no english, perhaps certain rules seem confusing to us.
In armor, shield theme,
Don a shield (core pag 153) and Ready or Drop a Shield (core pag 187) is the same action, or they are two different action?
If are two, what is the difference between them?
Thanks
a have a question.
The Kinetic Blast make a Physical blasts are ranged attacks that deal an amount of damage equal to 1d6+1 + the kineticist’s Constitution modifier, increasing by 1d6+1 for every 2 kineticist levels beyond 1st. Spell resistance doesn’t apply against physical blasts.
In a Critical hit.... is a 20 / x2 but....
To level 1 1d6+ 1 + (1d6+1)
to Level 5 is 3d6+3 (3d6+3) or (1D6+1) how the alchemist bomb?
I have a Question.
Moving in Zero G: If provided with sufficient handholds, a creature with a climb speed can move along a wall at full speed, as can any creature that succeeds at a DC 20 Acrobatics or Athletics check.
But a player have a Climbing Suckers.
The soles of your feet become covered in fleshy slats you can open and close, providing you a climb speed of 20 feet (see page 259). You don’t need to attempt Athletics checks to traverse a vertical or horizontal surface (even upside down). You don’t benefit from climbing suckers unless you’re barefoot or wearing custom clothing, and you can not be wearing more than light armor. Climbing suckers integrate into your natural feet and do not require you to replace your feet and legs. Climbing suckers can be installed into the feet of prosthetic legs.
Moving in Zero G with Climbing Sucker the player can move their climb speed how movement action o he has a succeeds at a DC 20 Acrobatics or Athletics check for move?
A player buy a Clothing Professional Environmental for cold climates, dust storms, extreme gravity, heat climates, radiation and zero gravity.
Its legal this, and if legal, how cost?
In the Pag 157 i have the rules for Encumbered and Overburned, but a have a question
encumbered - take a –5 penalty to Strength- and Dexterity-based checks.
Overburdened - take a –5 penalty to Strength- and Dexterity-based checks.
This penaltys are stackable?
I know the AC and movement speeds penalty.
A simple question.
Can you break a equiped armor?
i suposse with the break objet rule.
Can i run scenario season 2? Example #2-01?
