We were traveling to Rahadoum to...rescue a shard of the Shield of Aroden. Being Rahadoum, that was more complicated than it needed to be. We ended up rescuing some people from being burned alive, bought quite a few religious artifacts, found the cause of a fatal disease, and tracked down an undead cadre to their lair and dispatched them. Minovitas follows the Mosquito Witch, he sleeps with an old stuffed teddy bear from his Momma, he got drunk and has a tattoo of Zarta Dralneen on his right buttock, he paid an exorbitant amount to commission these paintings from his brother-in-law's former court artist.

I will be away from my computer for a bit, so here's Kuikka's action. If the shadowy cloaked figure turns out to be dangerous, she will pull out her sling instead of a torch.

Krakazh stands up as tall as she can, which isn't very, but she does seem to gain in stature somehow. "We would be delighted to speak to our hosts in our capacity as negotiators." Putting her hat back on, Krakazh goes in search of the Russians.

Who are not hard to find, since they were following us. "As you may have noticed, we have met this witch you were telling us about. Now she claims to be the rightful ruler of this domain, but seems to be willing to negotiate. Would you meet with her so we can keep the bloodshed to a minimum? I like you all and would prefer to be able to visit you again." She smiles in a way that is obviously meant to be soothing, but the sharp teeth get in the way of that a little bit.

At Chance's question, Vaidra frantically scrolls through messages on her datapad. "I could have sworn it said ship, not hospital, those words aren't terribly similar except for having an 'h' and an 'i' but that's no reason..." She falls silent and her shoulders slump. Snapping the case shut, she sighs. "Right. Hospital."

"What specifically should we be looking for? I don't know any more about hospitals than I do ships, but that doesn't seem to be an actual problem or you would have requested some knowhow. I hope."

"Great job, BUDI! Good use of initiative." Lego trundles over to their drone and gives them a good pep talk while checking them over for any damage they might have taken. They lapse into a very strange set of sounds after a while. Sounds like someone talking to a puppy or a toddler, though the words aren't really understandable.

Krakazh decides to leave the hockey game to folks who have a better chance of staying upright and retires to the snow-covered banks to cheer for her compatriots.

If it would be better to play one of the games, Krakazh will join in cards again, but I don't think I can beat anyone who has already rolled.

An tiny ysoki appears out of nowhere behind Chrysanthemum. "Hi! I'm here to help Chrysanthemum in her academic needs. If you need anything science-ish, I'm your Research Rat!" Handing out cards to everyone, she steals a couple of decorative flowers off her employer's plate and grinning, vanishes into the background.

Chrysanthemum shrugs. "They came highly recommended on Absalom Station."
