punctuates his warning as a rising swarm fills the sky.

Navi begins to panic, confused and overwhelmed by the sudden arrival of enemies, and then a helpful herd of unicorns.

She quickly gathers up the handaxe and two potions and stuffs them in her haversack. She makes a mad dash to the edge and leaps from the cliff, her lithe, airy form drifting downward slower than an actual fall. Almost instinctively, knowing her terran-based friends fall much harder, she grabs whichever companion leaps beside her to help slow their fall to the ground.

The unicorns abruptly arrive within a forest glade unaffected by the strange mist that has blanketed the forest for the past several days. Instead, faerie lights illuminate the clearing, dancing between the trees. Several creatures look up at your arrival—a host of centaurs, wood elves, satyrs, and sprites—all part of an encampment clearly armed for war.

Kala sighs. "Yeah. Thanks Navi." She is grateful for the healing, but Navi's lighthearted remark hits a little too close to home. Her grandmother's voice echoes in her mind, criticizing her with a tongue that could slice a lumpy stone into tiny shards. Instinctively, Kala reaches for Stinky's fur, only to find Smelly beside her, snuggling against her leg for a quick nap. Her expression softens. He really is a good bear. Stinky was what I needed then. Maybe Smelly is what I need now. "You're a good boy." She murmurs.

Unfortunately, this diverse group still hasn’t agreed how best to oppose Rhoswen’s army. Even worse, some suggest siding with the fey-queen to raze Bellis and drive out the encroaching Andoren settlers instead.

The conclave leaders explain that the stolen stones are responsible for the current situation with the mist, the spriggan army, and the queen, and only by returning them to their former location can be things set right. While also imparting information about the Fellnight Realm.

Lore:

Planar Traits of the Fellnight Realm
The Fellnight Realm lies coterminous to Golarion, the First World, and the Shadow Plane. Natives of the Fellnight Realm (including Rhoswen and her minions) find themselves bound by a prison-like hedge of wardstones anchoring them to the demiplane—only able to cross to other planes where such wardstones also exist. Since they cannot touch or move these wardstones directly, their only means of extraplanar travel lies in convincing outsiders to take stones back with them, thereby giving Fellnight creatures access to their world.

As a demiplane, the Fellnight Realm has the following traits.

Timeless Aging does not occur in the Fellnight Realm. Hunger, thirst, and the effects of poison or healing all still apply, but Rhoswen and her minions exist as immortal creatures. Outsiders also stop aging upon entering the demiplane, but such effects retroactively apply when they leave.

Self-contained shape The borders of the Fellnight Realm wrap in on themselves in a spherical plane, bringing travelers back to their original starting point after only a few weeks of travel.

Mildly evil-aligned The crook of Cildhureen has allowed Rhoswen to extend much of her malign influence and emotional instability over her realm. As a result, creatures of good alignment suffer a –2 circumstance penalty on all Charisma-based checks within the demiplane.

Enhanced magic Illusion spells with the shadow descriptor and conjuration spells with the creation descriptor act as if cast with the Extend Spell metamagic feat if they have a duration other than instantaneous. Such spells do not require higher-level slots.

Dim light The sky of the Fellnight Realm looks like a night full of bright stars, though its two moons match Golarion’s moons. The sun never shines here, though plants grow normally, partially sustained by energy of the First World. Ambient illumination outdoors is typically dim light at all times, though lights (such as torches and light spells) work normally and storm clouds may temporarily block the starlight and moonlight.

Palombier soon asks the heroes to address the conclave, hoping you may inspire a coordinated defense of the forest.

Convincing each faction to unite requires multiple DC 30 Diplomacy skill checks.

after the council hears WRD, they nod and start to talk in agreement though it takes to most of the night when they break to eat, getting ready to turn in for the night.

During the Night, about 30 mins in Kala, Wymarc, and Elena start to have nightmare visions as a massive group of Spriggans, and your companions fighting back, but being over whelmed, and eventually slaughtered with Rhoswen behind them, as the Nightmare Rhoswen disappears, you can hear in your mind “Abandon your folly, or when next we meet, I’ll do much worse than haunt your dreams.”.

Though the images seem extremely real, you only take 5 points of damage, as well as Fatigued and unable to regain Arcane spells

after everything settles, the leaders of the conclave casts the warding of Nondetection on each of you, while Devarre senses that Rhoswen is fearful of the group, suggests that you all face Rhoswen in her Palace while the army here faces against hers. The unicorns are willing to travel you all there, while Aripha explains that you must repair the ward stones as they hand you a bag with the ward stones that seem to be from the waterfall

After a night of restful sleep, Navi is abruptly jolted awake by the sound of shouting echoing through the camp. Swiftly rising to her feet and emerging from her tent, she scans her surroundings, seeking the source of the commotion.

Navi suggests using the partially charged wand of cure moderate wounds they had found to whoever needs it.

With a touch of perplexity after being handed the wardstones, Navi directs her gaze towards Aripha. "To mend the stones, what course of action do we undertake?"

Thank goodness Kala, Wymarc, and Elena don't cast arcane spells!

My spells are most useful if I can cast them shortly before the final battle. 8 minutes of protection from evil on everyone (using one 2nd level slot on Stinky), 8 minutes of invisibility at least for Wymarc (sneaking) and White Rose (summoning), 10 minutes of communal resist energy if there is a type we can expect to face, and 80 minutes of message just because. Plus haste in either the 0th or 1st round of combat.

Kala wakes soaked in sweat, heart pounding, and feeling like garbage. She had a feeling it was an intrusion, but hadn't been able to wake herself. That feeling of imposed powerlessness angers her, making her curt and grouchy. She growls in her mind: Ugh. I can *feel* my eye bags. We gotta kill Rhoswen or she'll screw up our sleep for the rest of our lives. ... And other things.

In response to Queen ChanndryvonneⅠof Somal (whom she just thinks of as White Rose's cat), she replies: "Yeah. Do that. Ask if fire is the most likely element to damage us when we're fighting her. And if she's going to try to take control of our minds."

Kala can also cast communal resist energy, as well as Versatile Weapon if anyone needs to overcome resistances (cold iron, slashing, etc.). Unfortunately, she has no way to counter mind control.

Smelly just sleeps through the whole thing. Kala has to run back to fetch him before they leave.
