I'm so sorry to hear that! About the kitty, not the job.

I may be a little slower on the uptake, my 17 year old kitty had to be put to sleep on Tuesday and I started a new teaching job yesterday.
While you may be sad having parted, remember 17 years is a good run at being a responsible cat acolyte. Don't worry the cat distribution system will send another cat to adopt you ASAP.
May you have an excellent year at your new teaching job.

Sorry to hear about your loss Jason. When we lose those that share our lives, it hurts, no matter be they fourlegs, winged, finned - they are boon companions all.

Thank you all. It is hard. I expect to hear his summons to the bathroom because he only drank water from the tap there. I have to catch myself from calling him to tell it is time for his medicine.

I have a work conference for the next week and will be offline through the 19th of August. Please feel free to bot Celosia in the meantime.

@GM - does Nan-Nuth have a turn after Celosia?
@Players - if we *do* decide to retreat and come back, would a bless spell help us? Does it add to skill checks?

Aid is so weirdly written in PF2, and given you have to use a reaction to do it before someone does something else I don’t see it used much on PbP given the necessary coordination required…
| Tain Hekkanen |
Can Tain try Battle Medicine on himself or is there a time limit that hasn’t elapsed yet? He can also use it on anyone else who needs it…

After treating someone with Battle Medicine the target is then immune to your Battle Medicine for 1 day.
Note we are out of combat currently and can treat wounds as needed.

GM, I think after a successful treat wounds, the treated character also loses the Wounded Condition.

Shelter names seldom do, even when they're understandable (e.g., we adopted a stray tuxedo cat that had been found in a snowdrift during a winter storm, and her shelter name was Blizzard).

@GM - re your pointed description of Nan-Nuth’s armorless and weaponless state - Tain would not want the orc to be bereft of gear. Given Celosia seems to have made a firm ally who seems genuine, Tain for one would see the orc at least caparisoned as he was. Whatever arms and armor he had should be his.

From Nan-Nuth's point of view, he is a captive. Celosia introduced herself as a scary scary plant person sorcerer and suggested coming with you to the field of nightmares. To him using prisoners to flush out dangers is something he is familiar with. The fact that Celosia likes her point cannon fodder to be healed is a good tactic in his mind.

Whew. Back at home now, but with Covid in the house. (Because why not.) Trying to catch up on posts now.

Poison damage is just a damage type. No Fort save unless it says there are effects with the damage, AFAIK.

Is the GM responsible for the Nath Nun's movements or are we? No preferences, just checking.

That makes sense. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't supposed to post his movements.

If you could all keep and say a little prayer for Latte. He went in for his check up and his belly size was a bit troubling for his vet. They did an ultrasound on him and he has fluid in his belly as well as a slight heart murmur.
So this could be caused by a few things. Best case scenario is that he has some type of worm or parasite and he is being treated for that beginning tonight. If not, it could be a congenital condition which might not be treatable.

He went to the litter box earlier this morning and even though he still has diarrhea there was a white, little oblong-looking thing in his stool. In all of the time I have had cats, I have never seen anything like that. It was separate from the poop.
| ICONICPCSPF |
they took out some of the fluid, a safe level and made sure to give good fluid. The fluid is yellow and sticky. Vet is going to get in touch with the pharmacy in NJ (Strongs?). Little Latte is on a steroid to help the inflamation and we should be beginning the pills when they arrive. The vet said he is not out of the woods but there is hope. He is eating and eating and being sweet.

His meds came today. They have to be given twice a day right now. They have to be taken fasting for at least an hour to help in the absorption of the medicine.
The pills arrived at an odd time and I asked a Facebook group that specializes in FIP if I should give the half pill which he will get in the morning going forward or wait until the 1/4 in the evening. They recommended the half dose so that he can start on it sooner rather than later and just give the evening dose a little later so we can start on his more regular schedule tomorrow.
I tried putting the pill in between a layer of treat but he wasn't having the pill just the pastey treat. So I tried pill popper but he is so little and didn't want to open his mouth so I just crushed it and put it in more treat.
He can wait like an hour or minutes or even half an hour until I can put his food back down so he can have some. He is always hungry.

The Two Action version seems fine.
OR, you could spend two whole rounds as opposed to two Actions to make it ubersuperduper thunderous, but if you do, make sure you let the rest of us know not to wade into melee…

I like the idea of the spell, and my Sorcerer has it, but the mechanics of it are kind of clunky.

In case I haven't said it before, I *ADORE* Goxomas's random attempts to convince things we're totally not here to kill them. :D
