Question about the wording of mythic ferocity on the statues.

"The shadowpact statue avoids being knocked out and remains at half its maximum HP, but its wounded value increases by 1."

Does that mean they regen back to 50 HP? What effect does making them Wounded 1 have? Aren't they dead when they hit 0 HP for realsies?

I'm inclined to give both to start at least. I usually end up giving a round before the last combat rather than sprinkling them throughout the scenario (mostly because I forget to).

Is it public knowledge which specials are being run?

6) I enjoy GM'ing, and PFS Scenarios fit my GM'ing style quite well. I like bringing life to NPCs, but I suck at coming up with plots. Making homebrew campaigns is not for me.

This is me. I've tried to run my own stuff and I stress myself out trying to come up with something clever. PFS has everything laid out, so I can worry about out of the box players ;) rather than what happens next.

Incidentally, why is all this recruitment mushrooming up now?

End of the year freedom!

I have lots of level 1s lingering in limbo and would be happy to join to bring in a newbie. :)

RPG Chronicles link for 1-35: RPG Chronicles 1-35 Rasheen's Riches

THANK YOU!! I really appreciate it. :)

Would anyone be willing to run the Rasheen's series? I haven't played any of them and there's one more coming out next year.

I can replay, if you need another body. In tier, I have a Soldier 7 (4 armed), Witchwarper 8, and Vanguard 7. Of those, I'd rather play my Vanguard.

I've never GMd a PbP special, but I'm willing to give it a try. I have not done 5-99 (which isn't MTS, but I still haven't done it), 6-00, 7-00, 8-99, 9-00, 10-00.

I'm not sure what to go with right now. Looks like someone with thievery would be good. Bard or Rogue type. Give me a day to ponder.

Would we be getting society credit for this?

Yes, I would be interested.
I haven't played any of them, so any would be fine with me.
I would probably bring a new character regardless. Celosia is fun, but she needs reworking. :)

The Player Core 2 characters aren't included in the .zip?

Try refreshing your downloads.

I have a work conference for the next week and will be offline through the 16th of August. I may or may not have time to post GM stuff depending on how much work there is.

I had the same problems and just guessed which ones went where. If everything shouldn't be DP, please let us know what the acronyms stand for.

Welcome! Please fill out your PC's info on Slide 2.

I'm hoping to post once a day during the week and once on weekends. I will be less available over Memorial Day weekend (last weekend in May for non-US folks) because PaizoCon. If we get to mid-June, then I'll be away for Origins as well.

Venture Captain Amara Li has asked you to meet in a private room of the Gilded Lotus teahouse in Hisuikirasu, the capital of Kwanlai. As you wait for the server to take you back, you have some time to introduce yourselves to each other.

If math is the barrier, dice rollers might help. If reading is the issue, well...you might need to wait a bit more. :D My friend's 10 y.o. is getting so much better at both math and reading because of PF.

I am pretty sure from this post that the answer is "Yes", but there's apparently some debate about it:

If I create a character that is using a class from Player Core 2 after November 15, 2023, once Player Core 2 is released, do they get the Remaster Rebuild?

The Lorespire Remaster page seems to indicate to some that only characters created with 1 session on them prior to November 15, 2023, if you read only the Rebuilding section; my contention is that the Rebuilding section is providing explicit instructions for the rebuild mentioned in the Character Options section. If the latter is accurate, can we remove the date mentioned in the Rebuilding section to prevent further debate?

From the original blog post, emphasis mine: "[N]o new characters may be created using the class chassis printed in the Core Rulebook if the class has been reprinted in the Player Core."

I would read that as 'if the class not in Player Core 1, the date doesn't apply.' You would still need to use any Remaster rules errata and PFS requirements (no schools, etc.), but you would still qualify for a rebuild once Player Core 2 comes out.

Thanks, all!

Is there a link for the remaster character sheet? I like the look of it and was hoping to try it out.

I'm sorry, I have to drop out of this game due to real life!

It's a fun scenario. :)

I have a level 10 envoy (no inspire) and a level 11 mystic, if you have space.

I would love to play. Haven't played or GMd. I have a leshy sorcerer I could bring, or I can make anything to fill in a blank.

Thanks for your patience while I was at Origins. Catching up now.

I have 2 glyphs which I'm happy to give to the others and a campaign coin.

That's what I ended up going with.

More comments:
The remote hacking ability was also head bending. I just decided it didn't work because reasons. I would rather have a reason though.

Thank you!!

I have a spoiler-y question about starting conditions and class features for SF 5-15: Beta Test.

Behind here just in case:
I have a player who is a mechanic with a drone. I don't want to take away from their class abilities when they go all squoxy but there isn't anything about extra characters in the game. My gut instinct is to give them an extra squox to move around, but I don't want to bring in everything that isn't class specific (mounts, familiars, pets...).

Yes, druid witch MT. OK. I'll update her and bring her in shortly.

I'm traveling through this weekend and my character sheets are all at home. I will ask the spousecreature to send me character sheets so I can update as soon as possible.

I think I have a cavalier 8, a vigilante stabby ratfolk 9, and a mystic theurge 7. Any preferences there?

HALLELUJAH! My characters page looks so pretty now! :D Thanks for getting it fixed!!

I would be interested in playing. I have played and run this, but it was when it came out. I'm not sure what characters I have in this level. Let me know if you are OK with me.

Yes, 10-16 is replayable for level 1 only.

I'll give those a try. Some links would be appreciated, because I've been browsing for a month and it's been super frustrating.

Although, I'll try not to get my hopes up. I apparently only have free time during a pretty dead time zone, because I can't even find pay to play games for the period that I'm actually available, lol.

There is an Organized Play Online Discord server which has a pretty solid Foundry following.

Warhorn has a lot of online games listed as well. You can filter by VTT to just Foundry if you like.

Danke!! :D

Nope, it's not a requirement. I just love my minions! I have decided though that the Research Rat franchise is totally a thing, though!

I meant more how do you do that? If you want to, do you need to create a spare character to make it happen?

I'd be down for Truth of the Seeker! Also playing bounties. :)

Do I recognize the name Chesjilawa? Society +9

Thank you so much for the game! I'm hoping we can play again. I still hope to get the whole scoured star storyline. :D

Me too! I'm missing 1-13 and 1-17 now. And 1-99, which...might happen sometime.

booooon: 1d20 ⇒ 16

Thanks for running, Redelia! I'm glad I got one last hurrah with Rilke.

The 1E scenarios are available on Paizo under Pathfinder > Adventures > First Edition Adventures: https://paizo.com/store/pathfinder/adventures/first. There's still a fair amount of stuff online, if you search on Warhorn, in addition to Flaxseed for PbP/PbD.

There's almost no sanctioned content for very high level scenarios (as Falling Rock posted above), which is why folks want to play this special. It's only the 3rd or 4th special that Paizo ever wrote and it is definitely showing it's age. Later season specials worked much better. I loved Gallowspire myself. But in terms of society legal content, I'm guessing you won't have much of anything for Gabrielle.

Yeah. Figuring out tempo is definitely a thing. Trying to make sure we keep moving, but still giving everyone a chance to respond... Glad you had fun.

I've sent out the chronicles, but if you don't see them (might get stuck in spam), you can find them here.

You don't see any place the oil leaked from, but you think you can gather enough clean oil, once you find something to put it in. You remember there were some spare barrels in the supply room and you collect enough oil for your purposes.

Returning to the reactor room with your scavenged replacements, it takes only a few minutes to replace the wiring, control rod, and control module. As you fill up the oil repository again, the reactor automatically restarts and resumes functionality.

You return to Thamal to find Councilor Kirslin overjoyed that you solved the mystery of the reactor shut downs. She is honestly delighted with the terms the green woman demanded and is already deep in plans to turn the eco‑conscious regulations to the city’s advantage, hopefully increasing Thamal’s appeal as a green destination. She pays you a handsome fee for your work and sends you off to your regularly scheduled duties.

Fin!

Thank you everyone for playing, especially since this was my first attempt at a PbP game. I hope you had fun! If you have any suggestions for ways I can improve my methods, I would be happy to hear them.

I'll send out chronicle sheets as soon as I can. Let me know if you need any updates.

T'Krunch opens the door to the hallway, then strides boldly through the doors at the end.

Despite being an automated plant, Station Green contains a few small bunk rooms for maintenance and diagnostics teams. Now, however, each bunk is overflowing with greenery and flowers growing in lush bunches from soil stuffed inside the cut‑open mattresses.

Though you search each room, you don't find any oil hiding in there.

Satisfied that there is nothing else to find here, Kalhoun heads to the northern set of doors to try his luck there. As he opens the doors, he is almost blinded by the light shining through the glass ceiling. There are solar panels everywhere, some with potted plants which have been placed carefully in the most light.

Perception:

Glaukos: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Iseph: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Kalhoun: 1d20 ⇒ 7
T’Krunch: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Tuirk Ra: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 = 2
Korth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Glaukos, T'Krunch, and Korth notice soil-dusted footprints moving to and from the plants. They look to be the same size as the woman you met earlier. Iseph finds a bundle of heavy‑duty wiring discarded on the floor behind one of the panels.

Why would you think that information would be in here? </s> No, they just say specialty toolkit. I'll figure it out if it becomes relevant.

Not seeing any traps, T'Krunch opens the doors, and then the set at the end of the hall. This room appears to have been a supply room at one time. Now it is filled with electrical components and tools in complete disarray.

Taking a few minutes to search, you find an engineering specialty tool kit, numerous containers and buckets, and a something which might be a replacement control module. At least, it looks like the one in the reactor which was damaged.
