Falv's first instinct was to rush the big creature, to protect the rest of the group. However, since Janira urged them to run into the cave and the others did just that, Falv decided to follow them as he was sure they would need some help. As he moved to the entrance he readied his ball and chain and called to Jorun to heel..

Falv smiled. "Ok, this my not be as difficult as I thought." He stepped forward a bit to place himself even more between the flea and Rahk, holding his ball and chain in one hand and drawing one of his throwing axes as he stepped forward. As he stopped, his arm raised back and he hurled the axe at the flea. One the weapon left his hand, he gripped the dwarven weapon back in both hands, ready should it try to pass him by. Seeing Jorun acting like he wanted to charge the flea, Falv whispered a calming word to keep Jorun next to him.

"I hate things like this. A real plague they can be." With a loud cry he stepped to the side, wrapping his hand tightly around the chain of the dorn-dergar. He slid his grip on the chain with his left hand so that he could wield it at the extent of the chain. Standing beside Rahk with a bit of space between them, he waited for the flea to approach closer so he could smash it to a pulp. -----------

Falvreb quietly steps up to the fire after putting his journal away and extends his mess bowl to Janira, thanking her when she hands it back filled. He then moves to the edge of the camp, close enough to listen, but on the edge of the light. As he eats, Jorun, his dinosaur companion, comes up to the ruins and around the edge of the building to settle down near him, apparently tired from the journey. |
