Lord Percy and Boffins possibly notice the faintest whishing of earth and air as Lucija's unseen servant meekly shuffles in from behind - but they could be forgiven for being distracted from such subtleties when, at yet another of Lucija's booming, megalomaniacal commands to the Great Beyond, four lengths of otherworldly chain of some blood-colored, crystal-metal amalgam, burst out of the ground around the hapless (and earless) bugbear and commence shredding him like bloodthirsty tube-worms!

In addition to needing answers to the above, I must also point out that both Shau and Medusa presently still have a pit-problem:
Quote:
...The edges of the pit are sloped, and any creature ending its turn on a square adjacent to the pit must make a Reflex saving throw with a +2 bonus to avoid falling into it. Creatures subjected to an effect intended to push them into the pit (such as bull rush) do not get a saving throw to avoid falling in if they are affected by the pushing effect.
Also, it appears that the action is presently taking place in a walled-off area; I cannot entirely tell how much of an obstacle those walls are supposed to be, and it matters for my weasels, not to mention line of sight - and why is that one ape-cultist still on the board? I thought we'd taken care of him.

Lucija, after some mental notes about the carnage before her (she now has several new ideas for paintings), draws a wand she's never used before: What appears to be a stylized model of The Abyss, formed from numerous rings of platinum, gold, silver, copper and randomly studded with tiny citrines, iolites, rhodolites, and tsavorites. She peers through the hole at the top.

OK, so as I've said before, I have a major new problem of not being able to use the toolbar on GoogleDocs anymore because it says my browser needs an "upgrade" - trouble is, I don't know what it is that needs to be upgraded, nor if I can, or even would consider it worth the cost (and I don't just mean monetarily; if Google and/or Microsoft wants me to bend over for even more normalized spyware or just to keep using it, then to hell with that and them!).
I can copy and paste images, but I can't really do anything else; no writing (so I can't indicate that Lucija and Naghamadi should presently be about 30' in the air, for example), no marks, I can't even magnify to get a better view!

Upon Eliza's conclusion, she makes a broad, rolling "keep going" sort of motion with her hand.

Suddenly, though, her hand-motion segues into an alarmingly loud finger-snap. How much of a difference would it have made if my AC had been 4 higher against that initial volley?
I'd suggest assuming for simplicity's sake that Naghamadi took enough damage to be banished regardless (I don't think AC 24 would've beaten that first shot anyway, necessitating his sacrifice), BUT if the attack that got through to me would not have, the enemy would now have yet another summoned monster on their hands...!

Then the fury in her eyes condense into piercing malice, and her grimace of pain and frustration twists into a vindictive smile.
"Fools! WORMS! Of course you do not see...for BEHOLD!" With another gesture and a final booming incantation, an even greater crackling portal erupts over the stairs, before spitting out...

Now Naghamadi took the first shot for Lucija so that reduces Lucija to 106-85 = 21 and those would have bounced off Naghamadi's tougher hide (only hit AC 27) so no damage to Naghamadi so the CdG does happen.
I am not so sure about that - In Harm's Way says the defender "[takes] full damage from that attack and any associated effects (bleed, poison, etc.)", no mention of armor - also, the difference between 27 and 28 matters, because that final point was from the haste spell, which I'm pretty sure only happened after the volley. I think one of the attacks against Naghamadi was also a '27', so he may still be gone.
As for Lucija, is that JUST 21 damage this round? When would the bleed start taking effect?

So I believe I got still got hit with one shot, which (correct me if I'm somehow wrong) would mean I'd need to make another concentration check to keep my summon spell - so how much damage was that (and does bleed damage apply on the round it's bestowed?)?
Also, I think Shau was right; how could they have been using Vital Strike while also making full attacks?
