I quickly built Kyomi into Herolab so I can Bot her. She had a couple "added traits" that she exchanged for a feat. They aren't in my Herolab package (and I have bought a lot of add on's). So, I just swapped out those things out for the dodge feat. FYI: New AC 16. Just trying to keep things simple.

Kyomi moves forward, taking a faux step to the left, but really springing right. Wrapping her arms around the mid section of Richelle.

I have obviously rubbed someone the wrong way.
Good luck to everyone else on this board. I sincerely feel it's best to withdraw for party chemistry.

Well, that fort is so perfectly placed in the region. Wow, the surveyors sure got it right. Look at how awesome it will be for trade and protecting the region. We have to wrestle that place away from the Stag Lord. Linzi's okay with anyone joining us. I'd prefer just the party of 4 or 5. - GM, did you want me to see if someone will NPC a character for a short jaunt?
Spells in effect = Inspire Courage/ Kyomi Bot /
With a whine, Linzi replies to Ekun's promptings.
She infers that her readership will want, and want until they are disappointed. Her fans and readers will never be sated- instead wanting epic to be trumped by even more epic.
Spells in effect = Inspire Courage/ Kyomi Bot /
Linzi wakes up very late. She takes the opportunity to sleep in and enjoy the life of an adventurer not yet going out on the trail. Her room is a pig stye. There's crumpled up paper notes. There's bowls of eaten food (but not washed) on the floor. There's dirty clothes scattered. There's the contents of her backpack strewn about. Even her magic items, the ones not on her body (like rings and necklaces) are in random and unorganized places. She snores a deep sleep. Only rising when someone knocks on the door to get her going to adventure more.
Spells in effect = Inspire Courage/ Kyomi Bot /
GM wrote: "So little one, I like you already! What do you say, O, should we invite her to join us sometime?" He finishes with a loud guffaw. Linzi gets a devilish look on her face. what he said could be taken *oh-so-many- ways*. She decides to dive-in? Oh, I'd love to *join the both of you*. Do you mean join you for a game of poker? Using the double entendre of the last word with emphasis.Or do you you'd like a third person for *parlor games*? Or are you asking to make a stitch? I mean do some sewing? She looks at their reactions, checking to see how "worldly" they are. She then laughs. Oh, I bet you meant go out on an adventure... searching the forests - right?! She looks intently at their reactions. She LOVES reading people and their reactions. Then Pyros sneaks up, hearing the conversations and probably the rumors she'd been spreading.

Faerin wrote: Is Linzi really going to start making enemies of NPC's for no reason? If it provides awesome roleplaying and posts. I think this is a great way to get an NPC some dimension. Pyros already engaged with Valerie and can take things in any direction he wishes because I posted a thought that Linzi was jealous of Valerie's beauty. I encourage the rest of you to do the same. I think there's so much depth that can be explored about our own characters and the NPC's outside of combat. I'd be thrilled with a whole page of posts about the party night at Oleg's. Linzi needs to learn more about Ekun, yourself, and Pyros. For example, I referenced Pyros's tattoo's in my last post. WHAT a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for him to exposition what they mean and why the player wanted them in his character description.I also would encourage the PC's to ask Linzi why she's being harsh on Valerie. I may even admit in character that she's just being jealous and petty. Or I may not.I'm certain it will depend on the questions and environment. Linzi's certainly not perfect. No one is. I always try to lean into character faults.

Linzi is going to party. She is going to be a social butterfly. Flittering here and there. Listening for gossip. Listening for story ideas. Listening for how GREAT her and her companions are. Telling people, You ain't seen or heard the half of what's happening out there in the wilds. Just wait for my book. It's sizzlin' hot!
Linzi wants the rumor mill to make Valerie "claimed" and thus off the singles market. Once her work properly done, and rumors spread, she makes certain Ekun is having at least a little fun. She wants to hear at least one laugh from him tonight. She also goes to Faerin with one of those starter conversations, Oh, you should have heard how they exaggerated the spider den encounter. People at this Trading Post think there were like 10 spiders. But, I did tell them how *GREAT* you were Granola. I want that record straight. You helped us survive death's door.
Spells in effect = Inspire Courage/ Kyomi Bot /
@ Gm - I added Linzi's items and cleared it from the treasure sheet in the Campaign Info tab.
Here's the current list of unclaimed items:
Scrolls (minimum CL): Note: Linzi should probably take all these scrolls (or most) as she'll be able to cast any of these with UMD.
Wands: Magic Missile, CL3 (18) Other: +1 Aldori dueling sword
+1 Full Plate
Headband INT +2 Cloak of Resistance +1 x1
EKUN, YOU SHOULD TAKE MORE. THERE'S LOTS LEFT. SAME WITH PYROS.

I like what Farin said. Also, if you want someone to come in for a short time and PC/NPC one of the people for a short time, I have a few friends that might want to do a short PBP stint. This can give the GM a bit of a break. GM- PM me on NPC's you'd like to roll out. Where we going next, and who you want to maybe join us.
Again, I'm open to how others feel, but we never got into negatives in any of the encounters. I don't think we got to single digits or ran out of spell power.

I'll take things in a few hours (taking wife out to dinner for date night) . I also want to check on the other PC's. Shayn's been gone for 3 months. We also haven't seen Harrim in 6 months. Do we want to just move forward with the 4 of us? I'm totally good with that. Might speed up the game. Or add a 5th by invitation or asking a former PC to return?
P.S. So glad Pyros invited the girl to the party. I'm looking forward to my reply and I thank you for the interactive roleplay! THANKS PYROS!

Correction. If others have a better UMD (I'll start ), they can take the wands. I checked and I might not be as UMD as I thought.

Upon seeing all this treasure and loot!
She very overtly DOES NOT ask Valerie to the party. I mean, having that hot a girl at the party hurts her chances with the guys. Linzi's charasmatic, and doesn't need competition.

Ekun wrote: "There is no glory in slaughter." To this statement, Linzi rolls her eyes. She keeps a bit quiet as Ekun is obviously upset. There's a time and place to correct someone on the rules of story boarding and novel composition. He also brings up an excellent follow-up question.Portals and their destination. Good question Legs. I guess we have to figure out if Tort-turd created the portal. If he did, we'd need to know more about him to see what kind of magics he employed. Maybe he has a spell book.
@gm any hints or spellbooks or skill rolls to glean more?

Linzi advances forward. She's not worried about much since there's lots of images of her. She wants to get close enough to the archers. Focus on limiting their effects on the battle. Not certain if it requires a double move to get to the archers or not. If it does, then She'll use color-spray next round. If it's just one move (Linzi's speed is only 20) then she'll color spray this round. You dim=whits don't even know how to "bend wood" properly. Why don't you take a break from this fight. color spray: DC 15 A vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth from your hand, causing creatures to become stunned, perhaps also blinded, and possibly knocking them prone. Each creature within the cone is affected according to its HD:

@Gm, I think the fireball took out all my mirror images. Correct? or Incorrect. I have seen different schools of thoughts (Reddit and forums) and so wanted to leave it to the GM for guidance. I need to know before deciding the next rounds's action. Nice fireball BTW. We got SMASHED by it.

Yes, let's go back to the Kobold area and camp there. We were pretty safe in that section. But, let's get back here soon as we want to thump that purple kobold Mercutio guy. Linzi works on some of her composition. Writing more of the story for her book. She laughs at a particular section.

Let me try to wow them with wonder so we can advance upon them. well, we'll only do that if there's a large distance between them and us. Depending on logistics , She will try to fascinate the mites. Keeping them mesmerized so our front liners can get into tactical position before attacking. Otherwise, I'll prep a color spray to blast a few. No need for Bardic as the Bless is already a morale bonus.
