Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

"They're dead, we are alive, I say we're peachy." The sarcasm in his voice was more than obvious, though it was in no way acrid. "I do think some of us could use some patching up, so unless people have other ideas I say we pop the cork on some potions."

It was odd, but the fighting and the development with the cultists actually seemed to make Leander more relaxed than he had been before. Could also just be that he was slowly warming up to the others due to their shared fate.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

I think it's a bit of confusion with your statement of being less available :)

Leander picks up the unfamiliar unholy symbol of the scythe wielding cultist, "Any of you know what this is? Oh,a and do we kill this fool or bind him and drag him to the other idiots?" He looked at his own blade, ready to gut the guy, "Remember this is a cultist, not a misguided native."

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Knowing his queue when he sees it, Leander quickly moves in, blade drawn. He doesn't care which of their enemies he takes down, simply going for the easiest target. As he moves he slips the shortsword behind his belt as he pulls out a rapier.

Once he finds a good spot he moves in with his blade, trying to slip it in between the ribs of one of their opponents.

Move: Try to move into flanking position, taking the target as close to the door as possible. Trying to avoid attacks of opportunity.
Standard: Attack with rapier. Attack assumes flanking
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 + SA: 1d6 ⇒ 3 =8 total damage

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander hangs back for another moment, moving in such a way that he remains out of sight as much as possible while keeping the guards behind the door in clear view. He knew his skills were best used if he was afforded an opening.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander moves himself to one side of the door, blade at the ready. It might go wrong, hells, it probably would and he had to be ready. He just didn't want to stand in the immediate line of fire.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

While the others were busy hitting sleeping guards on the head to knock them out Leander moved through the room. He had insisted the guards would be removed from this place lest some of their friends find them but beyond that it was their business, not his.

He kept to the shadows as much as he could as he did not want to be the first target if someone or something else decided to check on this room.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

"What, and give them the chance to sound the alarm when they wake up?" He looked at Steave, "I'm not out here for blood but the Chief made it pretty clear this lot sided with those demon cultists."

He then looked down at his bloodied blade, "If we do this, we have to drag them into the tunnel. We don't want them to come bother us later."

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

As Aeryx attacked with his longsword Leander lashed out with his own blade. He'd switch to the rapier later but the first hit was for Chaldira. That was how it should be.

Surprise
Attack, added sneak attack

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 1 + (6) = 9

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Asking. The man was getting the idea. Leander nodded and lowered into a crouch as he started to move forward. If there were any guards they didn't want to alarm them. He moved silently and surely, secure in his ability.

Silently he drew his shortsword, the blade of his goddess. If it came to charging in he'd do so with pride and wielding her blade.

Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

I'm fine with bring the NPC's and so is Leander. He'd simply insist they wait behind a bit for the first foray so they know what is waiting for them.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Still not sure on my Rogue Talent but that's about it.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Here goes nothing

HP: 1d8 ⇒ 8

EDIT: So nothing ends up being everything

Now to figure out my Rogue Talent

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander made a small bow before the chieftain, making sure the man saw that it weren't only his people that carried the weight of the World Wound's curse. "We will remove this thorn from your side. I for one just hope there is enough Kenabres left to defend."

With the collapse, the Storm King and the traitors he feared that the place would be in very, very bad shape.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

"Sure, I'll hang on to the bottle." With that he stowed them away.

"Don't have much use for the rest. The armor is too big." He then looked at the gauntlets, "Maybe one of those could fit me actually, let me try." With that he grabs one of the gauntlets, which just so happens to fit snugly on his oversized hands. He grins and moves on.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

I always thought the name given to that archetype by d20pfsrd was weird. It's all about demons yet they call it "devilbane". Original name is Mendevian Priest.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Hey Piety, don't think I welcomed you yet: Welcome!

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander raised an eyebrow at Steave's comment, "You do realise we do not work for you, right? We aren't little kids either." He shook his head, deciding he would not say any more about it.

"Seems the shroom killed them while they killed it. I still find it odd though, crusaders with glaives. I've seen lances and spears but glaives are a new thing to me. There armor looks off for one of those low templars." He didn't dare pick one up though. Perhaps there were spores on the weapons and as fungus grew from spores it might be a bad idea.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

He referred to them as corpses, that says dead to me.

"Something's not right here. They're dead, no worries about that. What bothers me is that they look off. They're crusaders, Iomedeans even, but with glaives and they don't loom like Shelynites to me." He dared not touch them but it was odd.

After Menedemus' comment Leander looked up at the ceiling above the corpses. Maybe the ground collapsed under them as well.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander sighs at all the commotion over a dead mushroom. He waits till the bird-man fired his arrow and then starts moving forward, "It's dead, now let's stop worrying and start moving. The roof collapsing above us is scarier than a dead toadstool." With that he moves closer, keeping to the shadows despite his own words.

Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander looked into the dark tunnel before him. He wasn't quite sure what he was to see but he'd figure it out. "Is it a plant or a mushroom?"

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

"Is it the dead thing over there, next to the humans?" Leander points at a location down the tunnel with a dead monster and two dead humans.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

"The mad Dwarf is dead. He attacked us and we took him out." Leander's voice was somewhat sad, though it wasn't quite clear if it was the sad situation of the man that was under the boulder or the Dwarf's death that was the cause of it.

"There was a cave in, a collapse of the square above. We fell through and are now trying to make our way to the surface, see what help we can lend up there." He sighed, then looked the one named Lann straight in the eye, "The demons did this. The how isn't clear, but we know they did. We saw it."

Diplomacy 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander simply moved in and stood by, ready to help whoever was stuck underneath get out while the others moved the rock out of place. He didn't have the raw muscles to move rocks anyway, let alone the fact that he wouldn't be able to lift it as high as the others.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander moves in with Aeryx though he lets birdy do the talking. The careful digging more or less gave them away as not complete idiots, for why would they dig carefully if they were? There had to be something precious in there.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander puts away his blade as the Dwarf drops, "That's what you get for living down here, you go mad. Lets make out way up, where the madness is outside our heads." With that he moves up the slope, careful not to alert anything that might be there.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Sorry about the delays on my end. Things should be fixed now.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander stows away his bow and draws his sword as he moves around the Dwarf. What was this place? First giant vermin, then flying leather sacks and now an insane Dwarf. As if demons weren't crazy enough on their own!

Move: Draw Rapier
Move: Move around to be able to charge next round. Preferably moving so I can flank at that point.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Ah ok. That was the confusion

It'll become a readied action then, for the first moment he has a clear shot.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Annoyed by the flying bags of wind Leander took aim again. These things were coming down and staying down, one way or another.

Standard: Attack nearest Darkmantle with shortbow
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Thanks for botting me over the weekend. Some times lab work sucks, like when it extends into the weekends.

That said, I'm not quite sure what the position of the darkmantle is at the moment. I'm asking because Leander will not shoot into melee, he knows better than that, but he can't draw a blade, move and attack in one round.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander moves in and sneaks past the rest, clinging to the shadows. He made sure never to move into open spaces where he could possibly be caught, staying inside the hallway if that was what was needed.

Stealth 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

"Yeah, we need to find a way to the surface, but lets by careful. You actually want to get there and not die down her because you missed something in your hurry." It was something he learned from his father, that it was never good to hurry too much as you'd lose sight of what you were doing. The fact that he mostly spoke about treating the sick and the wounded didn't matter, it applied to everything else as well. Making haste was good, hurrying not so much.

He proceeded to move along the edges of the newly consecrated temple. "We'll get out of here alive and then worry about saving the rest of Kenabres and how we do it. Dead folks can't do anything." And if the latest inhabitant of this place was an accurate representation, neither could undead folks.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander put away the holy water as the skeleton was turned to dust in a matter of seconds. "Nice job. Never seen one of those before." He moved closer, inspecting what remained of the thing.

At Aeryx' suggestion to keep moving he smiled, "I don't know about you bird man, but I do still ache from the fall, and the vermin in here isn't helping. I'd be thankful for some time to recover." As he said it her did not look at Aeryx but instead looked at both Anevia and Aravashniel, before meeting the bird-man's eye. He should understand.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

As you guys probably noticed, I may not always be able to post on Tuesdays. Lab work has been picking up quite significantly and it's also my RL game day so I can be a bit hard pressed to find the time to post then.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

"We could empty a water skin and fill it with holy water." Leander walks up close to the water and sniffs it. They have threatened him with the stuff in the past but he never actually touched it. It shouldn't harm him, he wasn't a demon or some such, but one never knew for sure.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Neh, the Paizo site has been acting a bit weird for me as well over the last day or two.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Might not be there yet

And Steave, we might find other NPC's at some later point and they are the last bit, I don't know.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Steave, Aravashniel already was helpful, it was discussed earlier that him being listed as friendly was an error.

EDIT: By the way,, anyone tried to figure out what the hammer on the front of the shrine was?

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander follows the others into the room only to be greeted by enormous flies. "So that's where those maggots came from."

He draws his bow as he takes a few steps forward to get a clear shot before he looses an arrow at the closest one.

Move: Draw shortbow
Standard: Attack closest fly. Add +1 to attack and damage if it happens to be Steave's Bane
Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 Damage 1d6 ⇒ 3
crit confirmation 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 extra damage 2d6 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8

Updated it immediately but then I suddenly couldn't reach the site any more and the edit got eaten
Also removed the draw and move as that indeed requires +1 bab

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander moved into the tunnel before realising the rest had turned for the cave. "Aleister, can you send that bird of yours to check? I mean, he's smaller than me and he flies, I bet he can be sneakier than I can." A bird underground would be kind of odd but if there was something there they must have heard the collapse, that could have trapped a bird down here.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

If only it was a small size masterwork backpack, that'd be down right great for me. Right now, not so much.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

While the others were examining the camp Leander quietly moved further. He didn't want to alarm anything so he stuck to the darkness and away from anything that betray him with sound.

Stealth 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

I'll see what I find in the morning, it's time for bed for me now.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

The 8 Charisma Rogue to the rescue! Like I mentioned before, Leander does Diplomacy quite well and he'll continue to do so especially since so far he has been having effect.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander seems to completely ignore Steave and his commands. Commanders were nice, until they got on your nerves and if anything this man seemed to be good at that. Sweet talking about his great grand dad, as if he hadn't heard a hundred times how great a crusader that man was.

No, instead of firing at the cockroach he drew a blade and slunk of to the side. If the cockroach went after bird man he'd have a chance to see what was behind there.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander was surprised by Steave, "Well yes, he was my great grandfather, never knew him. He died before my father was born. He was a chirurgeon, like my father. Grandfather said my father looked like him." A broad smile appeared on Leander's face before he started moving ahead. It was odd though, how could this man know his grandfather?

-----------------

Leander quickly returned to his fellows, "There are two more giants insects there, cockroaches the size of dogs. At least one of them is still alive, better put some arrows in them. The living one is the one with the backpack on it's back." He grinned, "It's less idiotic than it sounds."

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Once the last maggot drops Leander puts away his bow and moves back to Horgus. See sir, I promised we would get you out of her without any further injury. We are more than capable of removing any threats ahead." He offered the man a smile without showing too much teethe as the elongated canines tend to put people off, "Now if you'd please excuse me sir, I'll go and move ahead to see what's coming next."

Diplomacy 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander didn't really need to hear anything to know that the filthy vermin in front of him needed to be put down. Without much more thought he looses an arrow at the closest maggot.

Standard: Shoot front maggot
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Leander could sneak ahead, yes. At first glance he just appears like a tiefling as well so if he's spotted he could just as easily be on the side of the demons as far as they are concerned. That works both way though and crusaders might also think he's a demon cultist at first glance.

I'm fine with the scales. I mean, if the circumstances ask for it we can just swap them around anyway.

Male Tiefling Rogue 2 | HP: 18/18 AC: 18 FF:15 T:14 F:+1 R: +6 W:+0 Init:+3 Perc: +5

Yeah, I'll get back to convincing him to be a decent human being at some later point.
