Howdy team, I'm greatly looking forward to playing with you all :)
GM: I own physical copies of Wrath Of The Righteous, but haven't read it past the very opening, so a brief update of where we're up to would be much appreciated. Did you want to write Peity in somehow or just assume she'd been there all along?
Aeryx
Welcome, Piety, glad to have you aboard! I'll be the somewhat socially awkward fellow who scouts ahead a lot and likes to shoot things with his bow. And I can't wait to get out of these damn tunnels, so I can spread my wings and fly a bit!
Spooky GM
Peity will have always been with the group and just retconned in. I'm assuming "opening" means you know about the whole falling through the earth thing. Demons attacked, you feel, along with two injured citizens and an insufferable prick of a noble, but you've managed to talk them into cooperation. After killing some vermin as is befitting of your station as glorious, mythic warriors, you found a temple of Torag that had been desecrated by a cleric who turned against his god. The group killed him and you, being the cleric who was always there, consecrated the temple again, which has you all under the effects of Bless for the day.
You killed a crazy dwarf and some Darkmantles whose combat involved a thousand bad rolls and took forever to kill. Now, you're with some mongrelmen, deformed humanoids who live beneath the city, on your way to their village so you can be rewarded for saving one of them from a cave-in, and hopefully get directions to the surface.
Also, you get the Consecrate Scale, which is as follows:
Consecration: Three times per day as a standard action, a scale can be used to cast consecrate. If used by a lawful good character, the sacred bonus on positive channeled energy DC's granted by the scale increases by +1.
When Terendelev died she shed a few scales. They have magic powers. Not sure if you got that far or not.

Welcome Piety!
The Terendelev's scales have CL 19th by the way, if you want to know.

So, thought it might be worth asking what time zones everyone is in? There just seemed to be a flurry of activity, but for me it's 2:37 in the morning and I'm only up because of a last minute uni assignment.
Aeryx
I'm on Pacific Time, in California. I'm leaving in a week for a few weeks of work travel in the western Pacific, so for a while I'll be an hour off your time (which I'm guessing is Australia, from the time and your use of "uni").
Steave Rojerz
Eastern Standard Time, Montreal. Not so bizarre hours
Menedemus Aultor
GMT +1,Rome. It's just that, being in the last year of high school, I have to study so much for my final exams that I sleep 6-7 hours a night at best.
It's slowly chipping away at my sanity. D:

(which I'm guessing is Australia, from the time and your use of "uni").
Yep, east coast Australian, GMT+10. Well, there we go. I'll try and make sure I post first thing in the morning and last thing before bed, which will hopefully cover the gap a little.
Wrong Knowledge, but as the cleric you'd know this one anyway. ALso, can you please format your "race" field to have something akin to everyone else's stats? It's for reference when I need to write up posts.
That check was meant to be Knowledge (Planes), I was running from memory. It's one of the Devilbane priest bonuses. Sorry for the mistake.
Piety Taask
I always thought the name given to that archetype by d20pfsrd was weird. It's all about demons yet they call it "devilbane". Original name is Mendevian Priest.
Yeah, I keep getting it confused. I might just change it to the Mendevian priest because it sounds cooler anyway.
Spooky GM
Planes was also wrong. Religion, to identify Baphomet's unholy symbol.
And they changed it likely due to quick copyright reasons. A lot of the words Paizo uses are ones they own, but aren't OGC content, so on the site they change a lot of archetypes, especially if they refer to any regions or deities.

Funnily enough, our level one Priest has no trained knowledge in Religion... Darn that INT dump.
Menedemus Aultor
The URL usually has the original name of the feat/archetype/item, tough, so you can always do a cross reference on the Archives of Nethys to find the Golarion-related fluff about what you're searching for.
Steave Rojerz
Guess who just finished the first leg of the adventure and ascended to second level.
Are you saying that we can level our characters to 2?
Spooky GM
No, I wanted everyone to congratulate my Way of the Wicked campaign for their progress.
Yes, it's level-up time. Also, because it's not been too long since you woke up but the Bless is on a timer and you're on a schedule to get to the surface, you refresh all of your daily stuff and can select new spells. Consider it more divine favour.
Aeryx
Wow, that was confusing. I read the post where you mention leveling up right after you posted it, and you must have edited in the comment after I read it. So I couldn't figure out where Steave was getting that quote.
But, in spite of all that, I can level up. Happened fast!
Edit: how are we doing hp as we level? I don't recall if you mentioned that earlier.
Aeryx
Well, gang, should I take Rapid Shot or Precise Shot for me combat style feat? More arrows in the air when I full attack, or more accurate arrows when you guys are in melee?
Steave Rojerz
You roll for HP.
Would you mind us taking HP = HD/2 +1? Over thirty years of playing, I've always hated rolling for HP. Thanks
Spooky GM
Sorry, I'm a roll HP kind of guy. I like the variance in it. Usually if a player is consistently doing horrible I'll give them rerolls though.
Precise Shot is always my second archery feat, just because removing the penalty always sounded nicer to me. Plus, you've got a pretty limited arrow supply right now, so being able to consistently hit more will do more favours than firign off more shots.
Menedemus Aultor
Okay... here goes nothing.
HP: 1d10 ⇒ 3
Ugh...
Aeryx
I like your logic, Spooky, and was leaning in the Precise Shot direction myself. I like the careful marksman image better than the ho-bow with a shotgun approach.
Steave Rojerz
HP: 1d10 ⇒ 5
Menedemus Aultor
Ah, okay.
HP: take 2: 1d10 ⇒ 3
O_o
Menedemus Aultor
What do I win if I roll another 3?
HP: once more with feeling: 1d10 ⇒ 7
Woo!
Aleister Sune
In the past few hours I learned a new language and added 2 spells to my book. I still need to pick a conjuration spell to learn.
Steave Rojerz
HP: 1d10 ⇒ 1
Oops I forgot I was starting my Monk dip HP: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Update done.
Steave Rojerz
I'm ready to roll.
Did everyone account for their potions of Lesser Restoration and Cure Lights?
cheers
Leander Mulberry
