"We'd have to be really careful carrying -- it might be better to try and get some fluids into them first and clear any remaining toxins before considering that, just the same." Leaf-On-Wind offers with a far more conservative view. "We should definitely get them out of that mess, though."

After Tengu kobolds are my next favorite but I'm very hesitant to do anything with them until Player Core 2 comes out. Goblins give me a disconnect but that's only due to PF(1) conditioning, when I've seen folks playing them in PFS they are quite possibly the most conscientious of players and characters at the table. Gnomes are good and fun when they're Hmm-ish sorts, painful when they're Jubilost (from Kingmaker) to me.

I'm in a weird spot. The party (and GM) have made generous concessions to make Leaf-On-Wind appropriately medical bad-ass. At the same time, I've felt sort of 'flat' portraying him, like I'm not quite 'gelling' with the character. That includes working with Song-of-Air on brother/sister sorts of things -- we had a dynamic when we started but it's also kind of faltered (and I blame myself for that as much as anything). This being said, I would very much like to continue, but am also trying to figure out options that would not overly ruin our party's dynamic or hamper our future adventures.

Drained: Each time you get a full night’s rest, your drained value decreases by 1. This increases your maximum Hit Points, but you don’t immediately recover the lost Hit Points. So provided we had time to rest, it'd be possible to clear it naturally for Rulean. Unless, of course, this is another time-limit/chain-pull sort of situation like the first tower where we'll get about five seconds to breathe between encounters. I know it's not GM fault, but how the encounters were placed/designed. Unfortunately, it's not a thing that can be solved with Golarion secular medicine (for some reason) other than through bed rest.

Yes, we're looking at a range increment modifier. I had a Longbow on the L5 version of Leaf-On-Wind but for whatever reason it is not appearing on the L6 version. I thought we had limited time and money for Striking Runes and we were implementing as we got the money and time for them. As Leaf-On-Wind has been hitting a lot of roles (and got Healer Gloves and a set of special picks) didn't want to be greedy and take even more stuff until the rest of the party got geared up.

Leaf-On-Wind wouldn't be carrying bow in hand for the reason that he may have to use more technical skills if we come across a lock or trap or something that needs dealing with. If it looks like we're going to be in running combats like the tower, that might change, but I didn't think he'd have a weapon out.

Leaf-On-Wind, having seen the potential danger and called it out draws his bow, focuses for a second, then works on *not* seeing the petrilizards as best he can. Draw Shortbow, Enter Monastic Archery Stance, Avert Gaze Sadly, this means he can't move from his position -- hopefully the petrilizards won't reach the party.

Leaf-On-Wind has been mostly tending to the random injuries of the Circus as the party has been investigating, but at the mention of criminal smuggling activity he gets a bit thoughtful. If the guards are camping right on the entrance, there more than likely is another entrance they do not know about. "Yes, if we could get some sort of idea of guards or rotation it might give us a better idea of any extra routes in that might be less... attended to." he finally offers after some consideration.

Leaf-On-Wind goes to a hidden alcove in the wagon that he and his sister use, releasing a catch and removing a black bag with things he'd promised he'd never use again. And he had *kept* that promise but with Nabi vanishing... Along with some more formal accessories for dealing with folks at higher levels of society, the black bag contains a discreet set of picks and tools that he unfolds to verify proper condition. He leaves a note by Song-Of-Air's pillow so she can see it when she wakes up. Note in Tengu: Sis, I don't see much option -- I'd put away the sneaky stuff after we'd gotten away from the Menagerie but now... well, it looks like I need to lean on some of the old skills that we relied on to keep us alive in the lean times between that and the new family. Please don't hate me for it? Leaf

I can't remember when I took Treat Condition, but I think it was after having to deal with the endless parade of lizardly types with poor hygiene practices? It's not a new thing, I don't think? I've slept at least once since that decision was made. Also, used at least one or two class Feats on Medic stuff, too, aside from the Dedication. It was part of why I had a bunch of Dedication options available. Chani, does the magic version require special expensive magic replacement picks?

Going with the Rogue Dedication and then taking Trap Finder as Basic Trickery, Robust Recovery and Ward Medic for Skill Feats (Had Continual Recovery already) is actually really handy. Plus having someone who can disable up to Master Traps would be kind of Handy. Might I ask someone to glance over this and make sure I didn't miss something? For length: Leaf-On-Wind

Rogue has been mentioned twice but it's really not helpful with armor proficiency (cuts out the unarmored bonuses) or Sneak Attack (have to be within 30' using Stealth or Deception and acting before others). Some characters it might work with, but Leaf-On-Wind is probably not geared towards that. Now, I was also looking at Dandy, but not sure if that'd be on-brand.

I am also trying to think utility over combat focus based on GM advisory about Social/Research/Investigation. Handwraps would be nice, but Leaf-On-Wind is already using First Aid Gloves.

I'm a bit stuck -- Given how heavy Leaf-On-Wind has gone into Medic Dedication Feats, pretty much the only stuff available (via HLab, at least) appear to be new Dedications, among which is Eldritch Archer though he qualifies for even things like Druidic or Cleric Dedication. Not quite sure what direction to go here, are we seeing a lack of anything at the moment we need to cover?

Been trying to avoid pressuring or commenting but yes, consider an affirm here even if it bites us in the butt in the long run because otherwise we're no better than the Menagerie. |
