Kragar looks at the final tally of the latest "contest". He turns to alcibades, "Sorry, I must have hit you on the head too hard. The guy with the scimitars finished ahead of you this time!"

Kragar turns to Aaron, "Hmph. Keep it up."

Kragar attempts to swat the skull against the wall with his blade.

Attack:
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
Damage: 2d6 + 15 ⇒ (1, 4) + 15 = 20

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Does the holy water seem to have any effect?

Kragar gathers up 4 of the vials of holy water, and dumps it on the skeleton.

"I think we have a situation here. These... things... I am thinking they are some evil lich's playthings. Explain this!"

Kragar gets out his blade and wand, and plants his feet wide.

"By the flame of the Everlight, show yourself and be judged!"

Kragar motions to Talon to keep an eye on the toys, and to devour one as quickly as possible if they cause trouble.

After detecting golems i will give the scarab of golem bane to Kragar. "Perhaps you should hold onto this for now."

"Does Bisby always stay down here?"

"If father asks our presence we will enter. We have no gifts for him at this time. Father has been here since the lodge was closed. We bring him things when we can find them."

As David begins to cast Mr. Straw gently pokes him with his pitch fork, and speaks in a scratchy voice, "No funny business."

Kragar gets out his other elixer of animal growth and stuffs it into his belt. He eyes the doll with the knife and remarks, "I can't help but feel like your friend there wants to stab someone..."

Kragar looks at the puppet, puts on his best 'squishy human voice', "So.. what has bisby been up to all these years? The pathfinders are very worried! I wonder why Bisby never made contact. Ah well."

Sense motive to see if these evil toys are about to kill us 3d6 - 2 ⇒ (1, 3, 5) - 2 = 7

Kragar will fall in line behind alcibades

Kragar speaks up, "Now, I'm no master tactician (although its pretty close, ha ha!), but it seems to me that this is our chance to really get the drop on this Bisby character. These... things... can make sure we clean house. We need a plan, and we need them to help us. Surely there must be some critical information they have not yet told us.

Kragar moves up to the creature who sickened him, and commands his mount to do the same. Talon will ready an attack incase these foul things decide to attack again.

Kragar wonders that since the door features a demon's head, if we can open it with... a Demon's head?!

Kragar picks up the head and headbutts it. "Fleshwad?! Look here, head, I don't care what god forsaken hole in the planes you come from, You will show some respect or you will go back in the damned box."

Kragar shows off his martial prowess by wielding the head like a pair of nunchukau while giving his little speech.

Intimidate: 3d6 + 24 ⇒ (3, 3, 2) + 24 = 32

"Now, no hard feelings, Head, but if we are going to work together there has to be an understanding. I am Kragar of the Skull Crusher clan, Knight of Saranae, and you may take my word as bond. If I SAY you will get to chew on a face, you damned well better believe you will get there. Now stop your bickering and act more like the creature you supposedly came from, head."

Kragar continues to hack at the desk.

Perception while hacking away to notice anything (drawers etc)

*note* Both of our Magic Circle Against Evil should still be in place

Karzeh, glances around frantically as you hold her up. "There's a seam at the bottom of the desk. Its got runes around it like the ones on the door!." Aya and Alcibades also notice the seam. Aya the runes on the door do not look magical. They look a bit like the characters used in the common alphabet, but not quite the same.

Kragar tries to make sense of the runes, inbetween slashes at the desk (OOC: I will spend all of my time huffing and puffing at the desk unless something else occurs).

Linguistics: 3d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 1, 2) + 4 = 9

Kragar stares at the glyphs at a while trying to discern some hidden meaning:[disable device] 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (1, 6, 3) + 9 = 19

Are there similarities between the other runes in the room and the ones under the desk?

Kragar asks the head, "So what do these runes mean? -- I'll personally make sure you can eat the face off of one of your hated enemies when we are done here."

Kragar, unless the group objects, will attempt to rend the desk into tiny little pieces. To help it along, I will consume a potion of giant growth if I feel like im not getting anywhere (doing no damage).

Kragar's attack without GG is 2d6+15, this grows to 3d6+17 with GG

Well that is both very loud and very time consuming as you have to smash up a large section of the floor. To thoroughly destroy the 10 by 20 mosaic takes about 2 minutes given Kragars massive strength.

Kragar thinks this is a pretty good plan. "This might draw some attention. Heh Heh Heh" If no one objects, Kragar will begin to smash up the tiles just to be on the safe side. "Don't trust anything in here."

You walk through the intersection past Alcibades and head over to the double doors. They seem safe, and unlocked. You glance around for a moment an realize the hallway opens up into a chamber. To the north on an upraised stage, gold, green and magenta mosaic tiles form an intricate glyph on the floor of this half circle chamber of a road vanishing onoto the horizon. The battered and blasted remains of a stone statue that may have once depicted a human adventurer lie scattered throughout the lower souther half of the room.

The room is about 20 feet wide and goes to the north for about 25 feet. The back of the room is semicircular. 15 feet into the chamber there are two 5 by 5 alcoves. one east and one west.

Kragar motions the others forward, steering clear of any of the glyphs for now. "Is this statue the same guy we were looking for before?"

Kragar ponders smashing up the glyphs, and is wary of any tricks at this point.

Kragar moves up and searches the doors.

3d6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 1, 2) + 7 = 14

Kragar looks around, (with nifty darkvision),Perception: 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 3, 5) + 7 = 17

Kragar stuffs his wand, potion of animal growth, and potion of enlarge person in his belt, and gets ready to smash something.

Kragar crushes the marionette, just to be safe, after encountering enough sentient toys for one lifetime.

Kragar says in passing, "I feel we should free the elementals. Whatever purpose they used to serve is long past. To be trapped, forever, like that? Better to die." Kragar shudders.

Kragar seems to have healed of his more grievous wounds. "Dramatic.... Charge....*cough* Best....Ever!"

Kragar grins through bloodied teeth.

Kragar buckles under the blows, bleeding profusely.

Kragar charges the lizard creature.

literally

Attack:1d20 + 4 + 5 + 2 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 5 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 22

Damage:2d6 + 13 ⇒ (5, 4) + 13 = 22

I forgot to calculate challenge into that, so I'd like to take this time to utter my challenge ( I think its a free action. ) While charging and screaming at mister lizard. That gives me an additional 3 damage to above if I hit.
"Come On! Puny Runt! Lets see what you've got!" Kragar has his Arena trophy mounted on his armor by a small iron pole.

Krug will mutter some commands in orcish, and have Talon move to close with the lizard creature.

Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

"You guys sure meet interesting friends. " Kragar smirks and launches himself at the lizard creature.

If i haven't already i make sure to get the last known whereabouts from Aaron and the lasted maps from Aarael.

Kragar Laughs, "did you think you were going to get all of the glory to yourself? Ha!" And slings his blade over his shoulder.

Kragar goes out and buys a few large crates of fresh garlic, a dozen mirrors, and a dozen wooden stakes.

On the day they propose to enter delvehaven, kragar will crush half of the garlic into an oil/smeary paste and cover all of his clothing (under the armor etc) as well as coating all of his gear in it. He will affix a mirror to the front and back of his breastplate.

Not taking chances here :P

Kragar turns to aya "Can you brew up a barrel of holy water or something?"

Kragar begins creating his banner by attaching the trophy to the end of a long post and affixing a "cleansing flame" flag to the trophy-end of the construction. (Saranae would approve of the title :P)

Kragar will also seek out Areal and pick up a few potions of protection from evil (2) while he is awaiting the group's next move.

I finally decided on a third feat for the Roc which I never selected until now. Gonna take Weapon Focus (talon)

Aroden’s death and that hasn’t been seen since. Notes on this
artifact are vague, alas, but from an initial report sent from
Delvehaven just before Aroden’s death, it would appear that the
artifact had ties to a dualistic religion of light and shadow...

...The fact that it was only a few weeks after the House of Thrune closed up Delvehaven that the shadow beasts first appeared in Westcrown

"...Right! Thrune is no ally of mine, but this can hardly be placed on them. I'd be willing to wager that this all stems from the silly little artifact that was stolen back to Delvehaven.

Sometimes buried treasure should stay buried. "

(Krug seems to involuntarily twitch and shudder at the thought of leaving treasure buried...but manages to finish the sentence)

In fact, I Kragar of the "Skull Smasher" clan, bearer of my grandfather's blade, make an oath to Sarenrae to bring swift justice to whoever is responsible for this blight on the city.

Quote:

...I'm certain the answer lies in Delvehaven. Which is place my superiors would explicitly forbid me from entering unless I had some reasonablely good intelligence," She pauses given Kragar a significant looks, "from a 3rd party who has entered the lodge. I assumed this served both out purposes, but If I am mistaken...

"Considering what these folks have gone through to get their way into Delvehaven, I would hope you have some reasonably good intelligence on the matter."

Kragar turns to Alcibades, who seems to be leading the bunch, and asks "How much is this person paying you us for all of this? It better be a lot.".

Kragar attemps to feel out the pathfinder and see if hes being misled.

Does Krug know anything of the crux, glaive, etc?

Kragar gets up bright and early, doing calisthenics while finishing off a turkey leg. "Lets get going people! Theres fame and fortune to be found!"

Most of the day will have gone by when you return to town. How are the prisoners being brought in?
Aaron is not at either base. Nor has Areal heard from him or the wizard in training Tarvi since the previous night. He is somewhat concerned and plans on sending some of the other rebels to search for them if they do not turn up soon.

On the way back to the base, Kragar speaks up, "Hah! Victory! And I was barely scratched! Evil Witches everywhere, watch out!". Kragar begins to line up the prisoners in chains and makes a big deal about parading them back to town, showing them off as if they were trophies.

Kragar unshackles and lets the one prisoner go that we promised to let go. "If you truly want to keep on the path of righteousness, go out and find others like you. Tell them of your story, and show them that there is still hope for those that repent and side against evil."

Kragar nonchelantly brushes against his saw with his gloved hand. "You are going to stay on the righteous path, arent you?"

After the exhange, Kragar walks up and down the line of 'trophies', "So, do you... what is it?... 'Red Fire'? members have a standard contract with someone to turn these guys into work camps? Do the guards pay for each of these buffoons?" Kragar smacks one upside the head with the palm of his hand.

Kragar also inquires about a 'Red Fire' banner or cloak to wave as he charges into battle.
