I love the combo of Bless and Inspire Courage. So much so that my CORE bard took a level dip in cleric. Eventually I will be able to get them both off in the first round of combat.

Being +2 to hit and +1 to damage is a HUGE difference maker, especially in the lower tiers.

Throwing his hands in the air, "She has friends? What. In. THE. HELLS!" He turns and walks a few feet away and then storms back. "Do you see how this is a problem? Now it's not just one girl with a sad tale. No! Now there is an entire creepy entourage." He stomps away again, "I cannot friggin' believe this." From down the corridor, he turns back and shouts at the group. "This is...this is...I don't even know what this is!" He punches the wall in frustration as he mutters to himself. "Great! Just great."
