"Phew. I'm glad this is over." Khari exhales.

"Tsuan, are you... eww!" Khari takes a step back as the woman grabs her wakazashi to the killer's neck. "I'll... make sure those other two are still restrained."

Khari knows the rush of killing in battle. But afterwards? Ew.

Does throwing that stinkbomb trigger an AoO?

"Ew, smelly." Khari moves in with the sickle.

She swings and digs the sickle right in. "Gotta get my hands dirty."

"I didn't even get to ask for your surrender!" Khari yelps as the bomb explodes nearby. Khari runs around the tables and draws her sickle. "Surround her, quickly!"

"Alright, then." Khari ties them up. "We'll be back for you in a bit."

Khari moves to the front. "Uh, I'll rely on you guys to spot, but I'll take the hit, I guess." She drinks her mutagen.

Grants +2 natural armor bonus, +4 Str, -2 Int for 10 minutes

"Uh, that was easy." Khari shrugs and turns toward the door. "Hopefully the leader gives up, too. But I doubt it."

Khari puts her sickle away but keeps her special potion ready.

"You're killing Pathfinders. Why? That's why we're here."

Khari tries again to slash the thing.

Sickle: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

"Yuck, too many tentacles1"

"Alright, then." Khari draws her sickle and slices the thing.

Sickle: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Perception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (8) + 0 = 8

"Huh? What?" Khari doesn't notice the fungi.

"I can hold the torch. I wield a cestus."

She forms into a bugbear.

Bugbears have scent and darkvision.

"I have a torch." She grumbles. "I'm not remotely good at stealth, though."

This is the first time Janira died on me, oof.

Khari sputters awake. "I'm not sleeping, just resting my eyes..." She coughs again. "Did we win?" She stands up.

"Janira?" She frowns. "It's... too late, isn't it?" She sighs. "This is what being a Pathfinder is all about, right? She sacrificed herself so we could live. We should at least bring her body back with us." Khari prepares to wrap the body- along if she needs to.

Janira's life ended that day. But her inspiration burned brighter than ever. It is a burden we must all carry, as Pathfinders.

Khari lies unconscious against the tree where the minotaur gored her.

Khari tries to defend herself, but it's too late. The horns tear into her and she slumps, unconscious against a tree.

Stabilization: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 - 2 = 11

Her body quickly stabilizes, saving her from bleeding out.

"Definitely not good. Time for the big guns." Khari quickly skips through the river like it was a simple pit.

She draws a special vial. Don't use this, except in emergencies. She looks at the roaring beast and readies her cestus. "Yeah, it's time."

Moved forward and drew my mutagen. I have a pair of cestus equipped.

"Oh boy. Janira's in big trouble." Khari double moves up to the edge of the river.

As a gillman, I have a swim speed. Can I just swim across the river? I'm out of movement for this turn so it won't matter now.

"Yup, let's get to her!!" Khari falls in line behind Imrahil.

"Ambush monsters in this cave and steal their stuff. That's what usually happens. I did write an article about kobolds worshipping dragons or something. Oh wow, I wonder if there are any in here?"

K Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
That sounds about right for Kobolds...

Even means a broken bolt: 1d2 ⇒ 2

Khari notices her broken bolt lying near the kobold and shrugs. "Oh well. Kobolds are surprisingly crafty. These must have been the runts."

Khari takes a shot with her crossbow at kobold B.

Crossbow: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4

Once that's done, she drops the crossbow and moves across the river.

If it's swimmable, Khari will take 10 for a Swim check of 21. Gillmen have swim speeds so she can take 10.

Khari giggles as they enter the cavern. "Hold on a second. See that cloak over there? Something small is hiding under it. I think it's an ambush." She draws her crossbow (if she has time) and shouts "Come on out, I know you're there."

Khari stiffles a laugh when Zu mentions hidden garden action. "Oh, yeah. People will uh... find entertainment in the strangest of places. Gotta make sure you don't touch the poison ivy, though. That leaves one heck of a rash."

"Swimming is cool when you have webbed feet and gills." Khari pants as she runs. "Normally no one pays attention to me, but sometimes I gotta think fast and talk fast." She rubs some of the water around her gills.

"But yeah, this will last for about an hour. And then tomorrow I'll think about another form." She smiles. "It's a great way to get an interview without people asking 'are you a goat?' "

Khari returns the hug - a bit guilty, but it's clear this Uori guy is good. "Yes, these waters will protect me? Thank you."

The water is pretty cool and refreshing. And with these webbed hands and feet it's like a refreshing jog. Also, she doesn't feel as dry anymore. Still, best to make the swim brief before the divine waters suss her out.

"I will guide them. These Pathfinders are good people. I may even join them afterwards." With that, Khari bids the man goodbye. Quickly.

Crap, I didn't think he'd be here. And uh... what the heck is he saying?
Khari spends some of her Inspiration Pool to try to make the basic meaning of his words.

Linguistics: 1d20 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (19) + 3 + (5) = 27
Khari doesn't have Aboleth as a language, Khari would attempt a linguistics check to get the general tone of his speech.

"My apologies." "Khari" speaks in a slow, broken common. "They found me underneath the other fallen bodies. I had not... passed yet, and they healed my wounds. But my memories are still fuzzy. I can barely speak."

"The one called Khari? She was very nice. She asked me to guide them south from these caves while she looked for the halfling guide. She is safe."

"He bit off way more than he could chew." Khari continues hustling. "Idiot. I wonder who his master is. Oh well, another mystery to solve later!"

"Is there anything else on this guy?" Khari takes a cursory glance.

"Now that we cleared the northern path, let's double back to the southern path. There's so much more to do and see."

"Uh. Glad I could help." Khari scratches the scraggly hair on her head.

"What's with the dead guy?"

"This is a dhampir, right? Offspring of a vampire and a living humanoid. Almost always human." Khari rolls her eyes.

"Uh... it's kind of crowded in there. I'd love to punch it but..."

Khari doesn't want to block her allies' aim, so she just waits.

I'm assuming Imrahil mentioned bludgeoning weapons are effective.

Khari decides to punch one of the skeletons, using her cestus.

Cestus: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

But she finds nothing but air.

"Okay. I say we let them come to us." Khari prepares herself against a wall. "That way only one of them can attack us at a time."

"Maybe one of you can fire an opening shot?"

Since this archetype is all about morphology and changing shape, I decided to make an alias to track my altered statistics. If anything is unclear, please give me a heads up.
