Haven't updated my character sheet since we ended our encounter. Been quite busy, so best to not include me in the 'ready & waiting' list :)

Concerning the WBL thing, we had a conversation about that in the discussion topic of our encounter and weren't certain how to handle the situation.
start of the conversation about loot

The loot:

Potion of Vanish (50gp)
Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds (300gp)
Potion of Anticipate Peril (50gp)
Masterwork Dagger (302gp)
Hybridization Funnel (200gp)
Alchemist Fire (20gp)
Formula book containing Anticipate Peril, Disguise Self, Cure Light Wounds, Enlarge Person, Jump, Long Shot, Reduce Person, Shield, True Strike

Scroll of Cause Fear (25gp)
Scroll of Lock Gaze (25gp)
Scroll of Disguise Self (25gp)
Wand of Mage Armor (7 charges) (105gp)
Spell book containing Cause Fear, Color Spray, Disguise Self, Lock Gaze, Recharge Innate Magic, Shield, Silent Image

+1 Greatsword (2050gp)
Potion of Cure Serious Wounds (750)

+1 Short Bow (2330gp)
20 Arrows (1gp)
Short Sword (10gp)
Tangleburn Bag (150gp)
Efficient Quiver (1800gp)

Total value of looted gear = 8193gp (half if you sell it all)
Winnings = 8000gp

Original proposed division:

2000 GP per person and the items they wanted (see next spoiler which items that were), the rest would be sold and divided by 4.

I noted that in this manner the total reward per person seemed quite skewed + Glyn would be very greatly above WBL due to only being lvl 2 after this scenario.

Later proposed division by Glyn:

Jamir: Hybridization Funnel, the formulae book, alchemist's fire, MW dagger, 3,308 gp

Tagatha: Scrolls and wand, potion of cure moderate wounds(after Jamir is done with it), 3,350gp

Rayne: Greatsword, Potion of cure serious wounds(after Jamir is done with it), tangleburn bag, 880 gp

Glyn: +1 shortbow, efficient quiver, 570 gp

So what does everyone think about this?

So, If I did this right, we can equally divide the wealth like so:

Jamir: Hybridization Funnel, the formulae book, alchemist's fire, MW dagger, 3,308 gp

Tagatha: Scrolls and wand, potion of cure moderate wounds(after Jamir is done with it), 3,350gp

Rayne: Greatsword, Potion of cure serious wounds(after Jamir is done with it), tangleburn bag, 880 gp

Glyn: +1 shortbow, efficient quiver, 570 gp

That should give the loot and money a more equal 4-way distribution.

I can agree with this arrangement. Anyone have a problem with it?

I personally feel that how the loot + money is divided right now it's not an equal 4 way split, which one would expect after 4 people "randomly" working together, but it seems I am alone in this thought.

I would like to have the MW dagger if you just plan on selling it off as part of the group pot. I didn't ask it as I thought someone else might have had a better use for it.

Not trying to be difficult, but wouldn't it be more fair to divide the money in 3 if glyn takes the bow and efficiënt quiver? As those two items alone are worth 4130 gp (2065 gp if sold)

Or something else along these lines?

Had a bunch of fun.

So how do you want to divide the loot :
From the Alchemist:
Potion of Vanish (50gp)
Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds (300gp)
Potion of Anticipate Peril (50gp)
Masterwork Dagger (302gp)
Hybridization Funnel (200gp)
Alchemist Fire (20gp)
Formula book containing Anticipate Peril, Disguise Self, Cure Light Wounds, Enlarge Person, Jump, Long Shot, Reduce Person, Shield, True Strike

From the Wizard:
Scroll of Cause Fear (25gp)
Scroll of Lock Gaze (25gp)
Scroll of Disguise Self (25gp)
Wand of Mage Armor (7 charges) (105gp)
Spell book containing Cause Fear, Color Spray, Disguise Self, Lock Gaze, Recharge Innate Magic, Shield, Silent Image

From the Barbarian:
+1 Greatsword (2050gp)
Potion of Cure Serious Wounds (750)

From the Rogue:
+1 Short Bow (2030gp)
20 Arrows (1gp)
Short Sword (10gp)
Tangleburn Bag (150gp)
Efficient Quiver (1800gp)

Total value of looted gear = 7893gp (half if you sell it all)
Winnings = 8000gp

The potions with eye symbols on them were potions of invisibility.
I picked up one of those & Glyn used the other.

The healing potion from the middle, is that the one counted under the barbarian's gear? If not which type of cure potion was it?

For myself I'm mostly interested in :
- Hybridization Funnel (200gp)
- the formulae book
- having both the cure moderate & cure serious wounds potions for a while, as I'm planning on buying a Formula alembic after this encounter, so I can add those to my formulae list, I wouldn't mind giving them to someone after that (as the process does not ruin the potion).
- the alchemist's fire if no-one wants it
- share of the money so I can buy some new equipment.

"Well now that that is settled, I've got some unfinished business with that alchemist."

Jamir hops back into the pit he had come from.

Jamir will try to take the rest of the items the alchemist had on him (3 potions, masterwork dagger & the formula book).

After a few moments, Jamir pushes the unconscious alchemist up out of the pit.

Did not know we were going to be able to check out what they had on them after the fight, hence why I was doing it now + it seems like we have it under control.

Nevertheless here are my actions for round 3 and 4: searching the alchemist and taking the funnel and the alchemist's fire.

Round 5
"Hold your horses. I'm coming" He took the last extract from his belt and quaffed it.
Cure Light Wounds : 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Then with a swift motion and a little help from an unconscious alchemist step-up Jamir came up from the pit and ran up to the female rogue.
"We would much appreciate if you stopped shooting at us."

Not sure if the -4 to the barbarian's AC from prone was calculated in for your disarm attempt. (I always thought it was a +4 to hit for melee against prone opponents, but comes down to the same thing :))

It is indeed quite quiet in the pit ...

In the pit:
Jamir, being rightfully annoyed at the alchemist for throwing that bomb in such close quarters starts searching him for useful items.

A bit uncertain about the times you mentioned in the discussion thread, but how long would it take me to take everything except the mutagen? Am I right in thinking that I could use my standard for the alchemist's fire and I'd need 1 full round action per other item? So 6 rounds? Order of importance : Hybridization funnel, the 3 potions, formula book, masterwork dagger

At some point you hear shouting from down in the pit, it's clearly Jamir's voice. "I've got the upper hand down here, be up in a moment!"

Don't want to clog up gameplay, so a few questions :

- As he went down before I did my trip attempt, does that mean I didn't use my inspiration + have my round 3 standard action left? As I would already put the potion away with my move action, as previously stated in my post.
- Would stealing an item from my downed opponent be frowned upon? If not, could I use the steal combat maneuver to steal something from the alchemist's belt? (high chance of success due to his unconscious state ...)

What I do might be different depending on those answers :)

As Jamir saw the alchemist reach for his bomb he gave him another thwack with the sap, trying to throw of his aim.
Attack of opportunity for bomb throwing: 1d20 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 4 = 17
sap damage if hit: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Seeing the bomb going overhead he tried to dodge some of the flames.
reflex save for half damage vs missed bombed: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

With the alchemist trying to get back his footing, Jamir used the opportunity to slap the guy some more.
Attack of opportunity for him getting up from prone: 1d20 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 4 = 15
sap damage if hit: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

On his own turn
"I rather preferred you lay back down."
Jamir swiped at the backside of the alchemist's knee, trying to make him buckle and fall over once more.
Trip attempt using inspiration: 1d20 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (10) + 4 + (1) = 15

If successful in his attempt he will put the potion away.

Tagatha
Glyn
Alchemist

I'm having fun in the pit :p ... Curious what will happen next.

In the pit:

Jamir smacks the alchemist as he goes for the potion.
First aoo: 1d20 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 4 = 22
Non-lethal damage if hit: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
I have combat reflexes, but no improved disarm, so the following would provoke an aoo if he actually is wielding a weapon, which wasn't specified
As the alchemist tries to drink the potion Jamir tried to grab it from his hand.
second aoo, trying to disarm the potion unarmed: 1d20 + 4 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 4 - 4 = 17

My turn 2
Jamir wacked the alchemist again, trying to knock him out.
Sap attack: 1d20 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 4 = 26
Non-lethal damage if hit: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

"Rogue's invisible, Barbarian and wizard on the floor and there's an arrow trap ready to shoot at the table in the center. Alchemist needs to go." Jamir whispered to the others as he rushed forward to the alchemist. He takes on a defensive stance while he swings his sap, trying to connect with the alchemist.
Sap attack (fighting defensively): 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 - 4 = 18
Sap non-lethal damage if hit: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

moved to H4, fighting defensively getting my AC to 19 & touch AC to 15.

Hmm, a wizard, alchemist, barbarian and rogue. Depending on their abilities we'll be quite evenly matched I think.

Jamir gulped down his extract and looked at the others and then at Rayne.

"I think it's best you keep that barbarian on the ground, while we take out the wizard. I can make certain I can get to him real fast. Also watch out for the rogue trying to stab us in the back and the bombs that alchemist will most likely be throwing at us."

"Tagatha could you maybe throw one of your spells at the wizard when you see he's about to cast. Should make it difficult for him to concentrate."

In case I miss:
If I'm not mistaken a cockatrice is medium and Kala is large, so she should also get an attack of opportunity because it would have to move from her now 10ft reach to 5ft reach :) Having an attack ready to strike when it charged in doesn't change that :) And if I'm not mistaken seeing as her readied action happened on the cockatrice's first round she should also have an attack this round ... but that might be overkill.

Jamir moved around into a flanking position and attacked the cockatrice, hoping to end the fight quickly.

Rapier attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 2 = 23
Damage if hit: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Crit confirm? (with inspiration if possible): 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 2 + (2) = 18

"I knew these little ones couldn't have been the only ones around. Let's use its anger against it. Strike with your spells when it gets in range."

He then directs himself to the enlarged barbarian.
"Please resist the urge to charge in. Wait for it to come to you, then strike before it can attack you."
If I am correct, seeing as you are enlarged, you currently threaten 5ft & 10ft with your hammer, so you can normally get an attack of opportunity + a readied attack in before it can actually attack you.

While speaking, Jamir takes on a defensive pose.

Old and decrepit chickens? I could get 75000 of those down at the market with my share alone, maybe 37500 if he only wants a specific breed or color. There must be something up with the ones he wants, else he wouldn't pay this kind of money for them, let alone have them stuck in an extra-dimensional space.

Jamir looked at Dudly with a face clearly showing that he found his excuse difficult to believe.
"I mean no disrespect sir ... Dudly, was it? But if they were just some old and decrepit chickens, I could go get them for you at the market. I don't know about the others, but I do want to help you. I just like to know what exactly I'm getting into before committing to it."

Going to wait a bit to see what the others have to say about this :)

1500 gold pieces each? ... for 2 chickens? ... Must be a catch somewhere ... "Is there something specific we need to know about these chickens?" Jamir said, looking at the wizard.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 Does he seem sincere? Holding back something? Is there a catch?

Wonder what a wizard would need a chicken wrangler for? ... Seems to be your typical wizard, gruff but businesslike ... Potions are always interesting. Maybe he needs some chickens for a specific concoction? ... No potions for us at the moment, sir. We saw the help wanted sign in the Roaming Dragon Inn. You need a chicken wrangler, sir?
