Welcome to the recruitment thread for the PFS1 scenario #5-08: The Confirmation, a scenario for level 1-2 characters (and evergreen when played with a level 1 character). Recruitment for this game will be on a first come first served basis, with the exception that priority will be given to players who have not played PbP before (and who apply before recruitment closes). There are 6 spots available and I'm planning on kicking the game off in a couple of weeks time.

Please post here indicating the character you would like to bring and if you are new to PbP so I know to give you priority.

The invitation delivered last night was remarkably simple, especially given the importance of the occasion: “Start where it all began. Meet us at the Pig’s Paunch one hour before dawn.”

The Pig’s Paunch is a run-down building with a faded sign of a large pig standing on its hind legs, arms folded above a corpulent belly. Inside, the air is thick with the scents of human sweat, stale tobacco, and leftover food. In the center of the room, surrounded by inebriates sleeping off their revelries, a familiar elven man stands high upon top of a large round table.

“Welcome! Welcome, my students! Please, have a seat!” With that, Kreighton Shaine, the Pathfinder Society’s Master of Scrolls, nimbly drops down to sit cross-legged on the table before looking about the tavern with a sense of reverent wonder. “Can you believe it? It all started here years ago—well, over four hundred of them at least. Under this very roof the Pathfinder Society was born."

“But today! Today you will begin your Confirmation! Master Farabellus, Master Zey, and I all agree you each have shown your worth and dedication to the Society, so there’s no better time to see if you can handle becoming full field operatives. Allow me to introduce you to Janira Gavix,” he says as he motions for an excitable halfling woman to approach. She wears a large backpack and carries all manner of tools, pouches, and scroll cases around her waist. Shaine continues, saying, “Janira here will be going with you on your Confirmation. She was one of my brightest pupils and will no doubt be an invaluable resource on your journey, for she discovered the caves you are about to explore during her own Confirmation.”

Janira speaks up in an enthusiastic and cheerful voice, “Greetings, aspiring Pathfinders! Six months ago, while I was mapping cave entrances in the foothills of the Kortos Mounts, I witnessed a lone gillman entering a concealed cave. I thought little of it at the time, but I saw another one enter the cave again a month later as my Confirmation stretched on. A few days later, after I completed my assigned task, I entered the cave system, but was unable to find the gillmen.”

Master Shaine hops to his feet. “Initiates, for your Confirmation, you will travel to these caves to explore and document its many passages. Additionally, and most importantly, you are to learn what the gillmen are up to in there. Oh, and you need to come back alive as well.” With these parting words, the Master of Scrolls jumps off the table and strolls out of the building while humming to himself.

It has just started to rain as you return to Heidmarch Manor, the Pathfinder lodge in the Varisian city of Magnimar. You have been assigned here at the request of Sheila Heidmarch the local Venture-Captain to assist her with research into a number of local archeological sites. As you approach the lodge you are greeted by Ebrylis, one of the manor's gate guards.

"Ah, good. You've returned." he says, handing you a sealed letter. "Venture-Captain Heidmarch asked me if I could give you this. She's had to leave town for a few days to deal with other business, but said she had an important task that she was hoping you could assist with. Apparently this note should explain the details and Zeldana should be able to help you with the transport..."

As you return to the cozy stone cottage where you have been staying on the manor's grounds, feal free to introduce you character. We'll deal with the content of the letter once the game properly kicks off...

Rain lashes against the windows of Dryblade House - the Pathfinder Lodge in the city of Daggermark, largest settlement in the River Kingdoms and home of the infamous Assassins' and Poisoners' guilds. You were summoned here at the request of the local Venture-Captain, Istivil Bosk, however you are currently waiting in the reception area outside of his office while he deals with a previous visitor...

Welcome to the recruitment thread for We Be Goblins Too! A PFS1 module using 3rd level goblin pregens. Recruitment for this game will be on a first come first served basis, with four spots available. When applying please indicate which of the pregens you would be interested in playing.

I'm aiming to kick off the game on the 22nd of January. The chronicle sheet for this game can be applied to level 2-4 PFS1 characters and will provide 1XP and 1PP.

I’ve currently got 8 items of digital content in my shopping cart. I’ve made multiple attempts over a period of time to submit and pay for this order but every time I click on ‘Place Your Order’ I get the spinner indicating that something is being processed but when the page refreshes I find myself right back at the ‘Place Your Order’ page without the order having been placed.

I’ve tried placing the order using different browsers, different devices and different payment cards. I’ve tried clearing out my browser cache, logging out and back into my Paizo account, restarting my machine. I’ve tried submitting the order on different days, I’ve tried removing all but one item from the order and ordering the items each as separate orders. I’ve also tried clearing out and re-setting up my payment details to check that the payment address is set up correctly. But nothing seems to work. I’ve placed multiple orders successfully in the past using the same card details (the last one was on the 24th or December last month), but for some reason I’ve not been able to place any orders since then.

I’m supposed to be running a game this Sunday which I need one of the items I ordered in order to run, so I was wandering if there is anything which can be done to get the order to properly process? I know at least one other person who has had exactly the same problem recently, although it doesn’t seem to be causing a problem for everyone.
