If i'm allowed, I'll gladly refund you for the remove paralysis used on me, but I was under the impression that you could only contribute to spells cast at the end of the scenario (like raise dead or restoration), not to scrolls used during it.

Iranar rolls his eyes and say sarcastically "THANK you, of merciful judge of all of our transgressions. I was TERRIFIED that you might give us a negative report."

He searches the items and identifies any that he can, and peruses the spellbook a bit. (don't need to know what they are unless there are any really obscure ones, in which case he'll remark on them at the least.

Thanks for running, Paladin! That was a fun one, and it makes me want spend a start to replay it at some point with my dhampir Cleric of Urgathoa just to see how I can roleplay it out. :)

"I'll summon a creature that will aid you in melee combat, Milton. Please be patient."

Then he'll begin casting a summon monster spell. Using his Move action to begin a full-round action summon, which will finish at the end of his Standard action in the next round.

Consequently, the Dune series is my favorite series of novels of all time. :)

@GM: Joktan should have been dazzled from my spell for 2 rounds, even if he saved, and he and the ghoul both took 21 damage no matter their saves, just as a reminder.

How are you getting 19 on the save for that spell, Iranar? I count 10+ spell level + Cha mod + spell focus = 18. Is there something I've overlooked?

You're totally right, I miscalculated an extra +1 in there somehow. Correct DC is 18.

Fort vs. paralysis: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Fort vs. disease: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Iranar fends off the undead monstrosity's evil attacks, five-foot steps back away from it, and fires off the burst of radiance spell (listed above, will still target the worm that walks as a main focus, meaning it'll hit the green guy as well.)

On his turn, Iranar will cast an Intensified burst of radiance, hitting the worm that walks and any nearby ghouls as well 10-ft radius burst. holy light damage: 9d4 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 1, 3, 4, 2, 4, 2) = 21 DC 19 Reflex save or they are blinded for rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 2, otherwise they're just dazzled for that number of rounds. No matter their saves, the damage is the same.

Can't use it anyway, it just hurts us. LOL

I was under the impression that we would get healed, but I don't remember who said they had a wand of ILW. I know someone said that at the start.

Iranar walks up with Velidor.

Iranar will hand Velidor his wand of cure light wounds and ask him to use it, offering charges to Velidor as well.

Iranar fires off a ray of good energy at the haunt, hoping to destroy it quicly.

@GM: Would you allow either the spell burst of radiance or the sorcerer bloodline ability heavenly fire to affect haunts? They don't necessarily do positive energy damage, but they do harm evil things.

Iranar follows just a few feet behind Velidor, not wanting to be seen as weak.

"So, what do you see with your eye for evil, "mister paladin"?" Iranar asks incredulously.

Crap... sorry, I meant to do detect magic, not evil. Please disregard, and assume he's looking for magical auras instead.

Iranar will mirror Milton's actions, and if he sees magic, will tell the group.

Iranar, having apparently misheard Lamare, perks up his head. "I agree with Mister Smithson. We must find a way to return the body, if at all possible."

Iranar rolls his eyes but doesn't say anything to the devilish man. "That is a reasonable course of action."

Iranar will also try to detect magic.

Iranar throws up his clawed hands in frustration and says "You win, Sir Barrister. I wish not to argue with the likes of you about such matters, as you'll never understand my point of view. I find all undead to be repulsive, in any form, and while I did not outwardly voice concern for the child, I was in agony at seeing him walking next to such a vile creature, and my inner voice was screaming at me to kill the repulsive creature on sight. Be glad that I can handle myself in this strange situation we've found ourselves in."

"Oh I am very much concerned for the child, I just assumed you'd be more concerned for the poor ghoul walking around with him, based on your previous assertions."

"Oh, now you worry about the living being around the undead? Convenient..." Iranar mutters, mostly to himself.

Iranar is sickened by the thought of human children being so used to undead monstrosities that they can have casual conversations... but he continues on, and searches the area for clues.
