"Hmm... last apparent room with a large wheel, probably can't ignore this one," Girion mutters. He sheathes his sword and grabs his short spear. "Let me go first, and I'll check the footing with my spear," he suggests.

Thanks! So, we don't have to go through this room to explore the last area, correct? "I suggest we go around and head south... there is little to be gained by dealing with this fungus which clearly can be deadly." Girion eyes the bloated corpses on the floor. He will take 20 on Perception from each door, seeing if he can spot anything that makes him change his mind. Take 20 on perception = 20

Girion adds this room to his crude map, and searches for any items of interest to annotate it with. "Big frogs" seems unimportant... I wonder why there's water in here in the first place? Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 17

Girion will advance and attack the frog around the corner of the sarcophagus. Longsword: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Been using the wrong 'to hit' bonus for my sword... not that it's mattered, with my rolls... fixed now.

Girion looks askance at Lumnessa. "I hardly think desecrating the tomb of the town's founder will earn us much respect in Kassen," he explains to the gnome gently. "Besides, we still have to recover the "everflame" and return it to the town along with the survivors and the bodies." Knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 "This dead man is a follower of Razmir, the so-called "Living God" across the Lake. Ill news for Kassen if they have taken an interest in this region."

Girion stands shakily and uses his wand again. "Does anyone else require healing?" CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 After ensuring everyone is healed, Girion talks to Dimira. "Your brother is safe. We will take you and him home to Kassen very soon." Surveying the crypts, he turns to the rest of the Pathfinders. "Surely we should catalogue these burials and items before leaving, though... who knows when the Society will be invited to participate in the Quest for the Everflame again? ... or if there ever will be another Quest, after this disaster... Girion would like to spend some time taking notes on the three crypts, making rubbings of any interesting headstones, and recording all historical data in the tomb, along with a decent map. He will use detect magic and take 20 on Perception (for a 20) as well.

On his turn, Girion will drop his sword (free action), pop his wand of cure light wounds out of his spring-loaded wrist sheath (swift action), activate the wand (standard action), and touch the skeleton in front of him (free action as part of casting the spell). "Iomedae!" melee touch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 positive energy damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Merry Christmas, if that's what you celebrate - or enjoy the solstice festival of your choice. One of the things I love - no matter our culture or creed, everyone feels joy as the solstice passes and we start gaining daylight. All the best! And for reference - we're doing pretty good here, the game I'm running is only up to about 300 posts and two players are mostly AWOL...

As mentioned, Girion will swing at the talking skeleton with his longsword since it advanced to meet him. Longsword: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 He remains where he is, since he can't 5' step on the stairs.

I assume the sleeping woman matches the description of Roldare's sister? Girion looks at the skeletal figure with disdain. "You cannot be Kassen - even in undeath, he would never turn against the town he built. Name yourself, so that I might know you before I free your soul!" The halo of light around his head flares, filling the room with the holy light of Iomedae. First action: cast divine favor on myself if I'm not engaged; if he threatens me, I will instead attack with my longsword, activating my legalistic curse ability to gain +4 on the attack roll. (Since I promised to rescue Roldare's sister, I presume killing this guy first qualifies.)

"Well done, everyone! Be on your guard, whatever took Roldare's sister is still ahead, somewhere..." ...I hope... Girion will examine the doors to make sure they are safe, and then wait until the group is ready before opening them. Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 8

Girion advances to the edge of the bridge and looks down into the chasm. How deep is it? I have light on my head from my halo. Surveying the statues, he muses, "The last statues I saw hit me in the head...and these ones don't have pillows on them." Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 10

Girion drops his sword at his feet (in my square, not the pool!) and pulls out a vial from his belt pouch. Loosening the lid, he hurls the flask of acid into the swarm! ranged touch: 1d20 ⇒ 3acid damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2Miss direction: 1d8 ⇒ 3 Sorry!
