Gerrik finally awakens from his slumber with a sore neck and back due to slumbering in the uncomfortable bar chair. Hearing Corvus call for him he straightens up and stands, trying to figure out exactly what is going on. Exits? What's wrong with the one we came in? Once he discovers the scene outside he begins to understand the statement and will aid Corvus with the task at hand. When the secret door is found, Gerrik will go over the Corvus with bow at the ready. When your ready, open it up, I'll cover for you.

Concerning level 3, since it seems I've teamed up with an assassin I'm actually tempted to take a level in rogue, as if Corvus has started showing me the ropes of the stealthy type. Opinions wanted. Should I wait or is doing so now a benefit?

Gerrik's Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 What the...? Gerrik quickly stands up, arms his bow, and fires an arrow toward whichever enemy his partner Corvus ends up in melee with. If she is not engaged he will fire at the closest. Bow: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 1 = 13
The +1 is assuming the enemy is within 30' of me, though with these rolls it won't matter much.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Seems that whatever trouble Shan found is a bit more important than our future mission. Not much we can do about that I'm afraid. Seems we wait until morning. Gerrik leans back in his chair, looking at the group again. Unless somebody has a better idea.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
All this talk about gang wars and accidents, none of this I'm familiar with. I feel out of sorts with the likes of these devious people. Maybe Corvus will rub off on me eventually. Gerrik starts to wonder if he had the proper mindset to be a Smoke Knight. I wish I had a way to contribute to this conversation.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
The sword spoke to you? Alright. Gerrik smirks at the notion. Well, if it can produce a map of the sewers and we can complete our task then who am I to say anything? Where is this map? Looking to Noro, From what I've seen I'd prefer you to be my ally, not my enemy. Any enemy of your is an enemy of mine. Same for you, Corvus. Pointing a thumb at the tiefling he continues. I think we all share those concerns. However, if we have a map then we need to do this first. We can plan on taking care of the Barbers later. Right?
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Gerrik shakes his head at the scene playing out in front of him. Everyone is trying to make their mark on the group, showing how tough they all are. Perhaps the toughest in this lot are these two broads over here. I respect them more than these clowns. Looking at Agreal he snips, And you might not want to ask that guy so many questions right now, he doesn't seem to be in an answering mood. Turning to the conjurer he asks, So what do you have there? I thought we weren't going to take anything. You want to explain before our red-eyed friend here blows a few blood vessals?
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Gerrik shrugs and joins with the rest of the party to making their way back to Milax. Realizing that he is making a worse-than-desirable impression on the camel-rider, the Taldan says, You are correct, I just wanted to offer the idea as a possible solution. We should let Milax suggest a course of action given the events of the day. Again, my apologies for being of little patience.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Maldrek has a point. Perhaps once we deal with the Barbers our original task becomes easier to accomplish. Watching the gnome vanish into the sewers Gerrik then says, We could simply "borrow" the map while our friend is off doing his chore. Doesn't seem like he would mind since he doesn't appear to have control over it at the moment.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
I know what a purple heart is but I have never seen one. I wouldn't know a real one from a fake one. Not taking sides, just stating this for discussion. I also did not know about the gold pin but I haven't been playing Pathfinder that long either.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Corvus:
I'm not sure what these guys are talking about but we may have to save him before either of us can kill him ourselves. Best to be on our toes, agree? Gerrik watches the man on the carpet and his entourage, readying himself in the event some violence is needed.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 I've heard of this guy. Don't worry, I have nothing to say to him. Gerrik eyes the conjurer with a hint of disdain. Just make it quick, we have work to do. Gerrik will then move over toward wherever Corvus is standing and watch the events unfold. Corvus: Gerrik whispers to Corvus, I swear, if this guy gets on my nerves like this everyday you are going to have to teach me the ways of a wet-boy sooner rather than later.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Gerrik looks nervously at the guard dogs as they obey their master's command. Straightening his posture and adjusting his stance he says OK friend, your point is made. You can call off your pooches now. Turning back to the gnome, My apologies, good sir. I meant no disrespect. Time is of the essence and I lost my patience. I'll just be over here while my friend completes his business with you. With that Gerrik will step away from the group and start to take a look around his current surroundings. If he does that again those mutts will end up with arrows in their eyes.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Appraise: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 Gerrik stares at Norvyn as if the gnome breached a rule by addressing him. Fine. If we find any treasure worth you to have we'll gladly bring it to you. Fair enough? Turning to the ratfolk Gerrik nearly chokes on the price of admission. I'm sorry, I'm sure you meant copper, not silver, unless you can travel through time. Perhaps another time.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Can we just have the map and be on our way? We are wasting valuable time here. If he wants us to bring him junk or something, fine, but lets get moving. It has become quite obvious that Gerrik doesn't seem very comfortable around the smell or the sight of all the garbage.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
What in the world has gotten into that man? He should learn to control himself. Disgraceful display. Gerrik smirks at the cleric as he acts like a child in front of this, well, childlike gnome and the party. Yes, any info would be helpful. Time is of the essence.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Gerrik continues to watch the proceedings, trying to notice if any one else in the area (passersby, crowds, what-have-you) are paying particular attention to what is going on and could end up being a threat if combat ensues. Gerrik will also keep his eye on anything going on behind the group. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 Whispering to his partner Corvus, If we fight, I'll back you up. You get in their face and I'll assist with my bow. I assure you, I will not hit you. Just leave me a spot to which to aim for.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Gerrik takes a look at the men, then at Noro. Hmm, curious that these men would come after her so openly. I wonder what is going on here. Naturally there is more than meets the eye when it comes to the women in this newly-formed fellowship.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Gerrik stares for a moment then realizes the question was meant for him. Looking at the man that posed the question, Gerrik gives a little smirk.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
I share in your desire to share our dignity. Gerrik smiles at the assassin. Hopefully Noro can pull this off though I'm not sure how they can understand each other talking like that. Not a bad idea Noro, all we need to do is to build up some cash once we get ourselves equipped the way we would like.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
If we are heading into the sewers, So it would seem. After you. Gerrik has a smirk on his face and looks at Agreal as if to say Just stand down, she might be as apt as that Noro chick to take a swing at you. If we are awaiting to see what Noro discovers with her action I will try to alert my partner so that she can wait to see the result before entering. Gerrik is hopeful that Noro discovers something as he'd prefer not to soil his newly purchased clothing and armor so soon. Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 I don't see what doing into these sewers are going to do for us concerning our mission however...
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Know Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 I've heard of these folk mentioned over the course of business in the last week, but I do not know much about them myself. I tried not to associate with the likes of them, though that may soon change. Gerrik then looks at his new partner, as it were, and nods his head in agreement. Yes, we shouldmove on what we know once Noro fills us in.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
I was a bit confused as well, I didn't know if we were all going together, going in teams, or something of a combo. Of course, I've been a bit limited in reaching the boards this week so I've just been trying to keep up with all the posts. If the correct assumption is to go as a group and then perhaps break up into groups, that's good by me. Hmm, metals and ore? As long as we are careful about selling that off that would be fine. In a big place like this it shouldn't be hard to do.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Whichever is the more effective. With your talent for being hidden perhaps we could take a look around the docks and see what we might discover that way. Gerrik says to his new partner. Anyway, I need to learn about this type of stuff if I'm going to be helpful to you. The archer then says, Maybe this new faction, Xa Hoi or whatever, they might have a few boats coming in. It's as good a lead as I know of.
Male (Taldan) Human (Taldan) Expert [1]/Fighter (Archer) [2]
Again, best wishes to you and yours Noro. I think this can end up being very interesting. I may not have the best character for the initial premise (I'm a Talden fighter/archer with limited personal skills) but I think that might actually make it more fun. Teaming up with the assassin might be just what he needs.

Work together, with me? Not exactly the type of woman I would have associated with just a few months ago but times have changed. Gerrik, I do believe that you should take advantage of the particular set of skills this one possesses. Corvus, I must admit that learning a trick or two from you would be quite helpful. My hand-to-hand skills are not my strong suit. Gerrik runs his hand over the new composite longbow that he had purchased with his new-found wealth. I do believe that some of the cloak-and-dagger talent you provide will come in handy.

Day Job: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 = 5
Total = 190gp from Day Job rolls, plus I'll be going Fighter (Archer) for 300 gp of starting wealth from that.

Wow, can I split my vote? I'll flip a coin and say Noro, because I liked being punched in the face. I can see I'm in a group that has time to post and its been hard to try to keep up. Sorry if I have not been able to keep up with the standards set by many of the others. I can usually check the boards 2-3 times a day but my windows of opportunity are short. Hopefully I won't be too much of a drag.
