Always role play and circumstance bonuses for good roleplay ;]
Well I don't know about Carl, but I'd sure like to know where that darn Captain of ours is Gurney blurts out and is promptly shushed by another more Senior looking man. He looks at Noro and says So what's your story? You need work or something? I'll pay ya 2silver for a hand with a load tomorrow. The earlier you get here to sooner you can spend it on booze and whor... well just get here early and tell them Samuel sent you. Come on boys lets get back to work. With that the men get up and head back inside the boarded up dockhouse.

Noro Kas |

Noro tries to follow them, forcing her way into the warehouse behind them.
whatsh wrong with now? I can probably outwork shome of theshe other shlackers you got here
I don't think there is a big enough bonus for those rolls..they were pretty bad

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

Aeadon snaps his fingers as he comes out of his thought process.
"I know a man that works the sewers called Norvyn. I think his assistance could help us find a safe way under the place. We should find him and see how much use he is before taking things to Milax."
Seeing things going a more active way he gives a reminder.
"We are supposed to scout only and report back."
He was not going to disobey orders or make a mistake over greed. As it was said pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.
Finals were draining the life from me.

Jiri |

"If this looks like a good target we should talk to this Norvyn and see if there's access from the sewers." Jiri agrees, "Hold up here for a second. I'm going to take a look around."
If Jiri doesn't see any watchers he'll walk around the building (trying not to attract attention) looking for a spot he can spy inside.

Corvus SKA |

Corvus is getting itchy feet hanging around waiting for Noro. "As much as it makes sense to keep together, perhaps a few should stay here with Noro for back-up and the rest can go with Aedon. If Noro's efforts come to nothing, that group can look at the other options that were presented. I'll go with Aedon. Coming Gerrick?"
Corvus addresses Aedon directly. "Lead on..."

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

Aeadon looks at how things are turning out.
"I guess we can meet up at the Crimson Coin when we are done to compare information if we have no reason to return. I noticed House Yui has a boathouse, someone stealthy or good at disguises may want to look around that."
He gives a slight click of his tongue to urge the camel to get moving and draw the dogs attention, the dogs quickly rise and flank the camel.
"Off we go then."

Thanks to Noro, the watchers have gone inside and are unaware of Jiri casing the premises
I had written part of this with Torry in mind. It appears they have left us, so I will say that before she disappears mysteriously she gives you all a heads up to the spoiler written for the Profession Sailor earlier. I like everyone to have a chance to know something that maybe someone else doesn't, but that only works if that individual actually participates.

Noro Kas |

Noro contemplates busting the door in but just as she is about to kick it in. she decides it best to maybe get some back-up.
Noro heads back to where the others are.
Shorry guysh, couldn't get very much. they are definitely hiding shomething in there. but the misshing captain ish a myshtery to them ash well.

Sarvin of House Morilla |

"Well, that's...not very comforting..." The tiefling strokes his stubble edged chin. "But if they don't know, then that at least tells us something good. Did they seem open to telling you things or were they reluctant?"
Sarvin seems to be trying to pull this information from her, even though the look on his face suggests he's about as happy to do this as if he was pulling teeth from an angry monitor lizard.

they sheemed ready to talk until thish Shamuel fellow showed up. They were very shecretive
Noro crackes her knuckles You want to busht in the door?

Corvus SKA |

Corvus sees that Aedon isn't going to go in the water himself. "Gerick, keep your clothes dry. I think that swimming in that water is a last resort. Lets tag along with Aedon and see if we can help out in any way."

Corvus SKA |

Corvus falls into step with Aedon, and engages in casual conversation.
This might be a challenge if he's on top of a camel
"You're clearly an educated man, what brings you to join the ranks of this illustrious organisation?"

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

Aeadon uses a simple spell he had learned rather recently. Discreetly pointing to Corvus upon completion to make sure he did not to have to raise his voice enough to be overheard by any unfriendly ears.
"There is unique opportunity and access, as well as rewards. Simple enough reasons. Your own?"
Message spell

Corvus SKA |

Corvus' eyes sparkle in a way that you've not seen until now. Aedon has clearly hit a nerve. As her tale unfolds, her voice becomes more animated and it is all she can do to keep it under control.
"Being the daughter of a lord meant life as a trophy wife to some bloated earl or dedicating my life to the church." She snorts in disgust at these two options.
"To begin with, the church seemed a better option but circumstances dictated otherwise. It resulted in a death and what amazed me was how disapassionate I could be. It wasn't an act of emotion but of necessity. And subsequent killings brought me to the attention of the House Gixx."
"I was apprenticed to a wet-boy. We're like assassins only our assignments are already dead – they just don’t know it yet. But things turned sour again and I've decided to take things into my own hands. I seek the means to fund my own guild – a guild of wet-boys. Our current employers are efficient and have left that angle open to an enterprising individual to exploit."
Breathless, she pauses for breath, her face flushed. You surmise she's never told this story before - and there is still a lot she's not telling.

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

Aeadon's expression is blank. More like a case of unsupported arrogance and luck. Still that was easy to deal with, predictable even. As long as her goal and business stayed out of his, live and let live was his view on it.
"Well I personally have no special interest in assassination. Not that I am opposed to it ether. I wish you the best of luck, yet I would offer you some advice. Keep good allies, assassins regardless of what they call themselves. Can not survive otherwise."
He was going to leave it at that but offered one more tidbit.
"Nobility is not something you are born into, it is earned. Titles mean nothing without merit, of that I can assure you from both those who have had them and lost them."

Agreal |

Agreal having nothing better to do walks up next to Gerrik. He simply falls into step for a while before bringing up his questions.
"So I have been wondering about something. What exactly did you do before you joined our merry crew? You seem more like the type who likes to visit taverns, and gambling dens."

Gerrik Lovejoy |

Gerrik stares for a moment then realizes the question was meant for him. Looking at the man that posed the question, Gerrik gives a little smirk.
Not much of a drinker actually, however I've been known to sit in on some friendly games of skill and chance. As far as what I did before this, well, lets just say its what I didn't do that was more important. The Lovejoys were once a family of some wealth and dignity. I hope to return the name to its glory by whatever means possible. Let's leave it at that.

"Nobility is not something you are born into, it is earned. Titles mean nothing without merit, of that I can assure you from both those who have had them and lost them."
The heat in Corvus' face was extinguished as if a bucket of cold water had been thrown in her face. Aedon spoke so impassively. And then the quote about nobility raised the temperature again.
”I fear you have some quaint, romanticised view of nobility Aedon. Nobility is hereditary and nowadays largely a closed caste. And for those who aspire to nobility, marriage is the easiest route – I should know. There are those who may rise into the ranks of nobility, but the merit you speak of is the acquisition of power, wealth or military prowess. Or perhaps a royal favour. None of these things strike me as particularly having merit.”
”Even the term ‘noble’ is derived from nothing more than being famous.” The contempt in her voice is audible.
This rant is based upon Corvus’ years of factual study of both linguistics and nobility and her own family ties as much as her annoyance at Aedon’s stance on the subject.

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

Aeadon shrugged.
"Galt once had nobles aplenty, as did Andoran. They are now but dust and bones. What point is there to a title if you can not claim it or hold it. Nobles bleed and die like any other. Kill enough of them or strip them of their wealth and they will beg those with power and coin to stand by their side. After all how did the nobles become noble. They took it, how long ago does not change this fact."
He gives a rare half smile.
"I assure you I have no romanticized view of nobility."

Corvus SKA |

He gives a rare half smile.
"I assure you I have no romanticized view of nobility."
Corvus listens to Aedon's response. This time she's calmer in her response. "I'm glad to hear it."

Noro Kas |

after jiri runs past.
what wash that all about?
after a thought you think we should check out the other plashe with the otehrsh?

1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28 As you are all talking and gathering back together, you notice a group of individuals dressed in the colors of the Bloody Barbers pushing their way through the crowd. Most of the crowd cowers and gets out of the way as they pass. They notice your group and walk towards you all.

Aeadon of House Ormuz |

Aeadon gives a slight click of his tongue as he spots the group moving towards him, before whispering to the others.
"We have company, act as if your my escorts and we may be able to fool them. But be on guard."
His dogs were already sensing the danger and kept a close flank to their master, ears slightly back. Yet they remained silent with teeth still not bared.
Going to assume Aeadon and gang are still around. :D
