Here is what I have so far. If you see a "?" that means it is unclear from your submission, please clarify.
Front line melee:
Takeda - Tiefling Magus
Veniir - Human Paladin
Meredith - Human Cavalier
Cassia - Human Slayer
Ranged
Daxiana - Human Ranger
Skill/Support
Aelbourne - Half-Elf Rogue
Piret - Half-Elf Investigator
Arcane
Gaxi - Kobold Sorcerer
Albert - Human Wizard
Ikit - Ratfolk? Magus?
Athrehon - Elven Sorcerer
Bright Ears - Elven? Summoner
Divine
Maevus - Gnome Druid
Elenaril - Half-Elf Druid
Elina - Human Cleric
Uncertain
Sven - Dwarf ?
A word on classes and races: Be aware that Rattfolk, Kobolds, and Goblins are all major foes to the settlers that will comprise the Barony. That might create issues with playing them. I see two submissions with those, it does not disqual;ify you, just a heads up about extra conflicts.
For melee types, the three most common swords that have several very nice unique magic versions are Aldori Dueling Swords, Bastard Swords, and Scimitars.

UPDATE: Skills are very important in this version of the AP. My projected party make-up would be 1-2 frontline fighters, 1 archer/support, 1-2 arcane, 1-2 divine, a trap oriented skill specialist. Note that few people want to play a dedicated healer, but anyone that does can look forward to a priority placement.
I also expect non-combat roleplay and skill use to be above the average for this AP (though there will be a lot of combat as well).

Evindyl wrote: I would like to throw my hat in the ring for sure, but I don't want to represent myself as a 'new' player either. Def not new to PF1, and also not new to Kingmaker, but would love a chance to see this AP happen.
That said, and to create a cool backstory, when is this happening? Asking both in principle and also against the backdrops of history. Ordinally, WotR is 7 APs after Kingmaker, so is the war to close the Worldwound in Mendev still happening? There are any number of other backdrops too. Has Shattered Star happened?
There are some fun Mendev and Magnimar concepts I'd love to present, but would also totally stand aside for a new person. Welcome back Galahad.
It will be happening in the timeframe of the original AP.
And thank you for the welcome back :)

After a long hiatus, I have decide to try this again. This will be a long campaign.
Bacground: This will be combining elements from the AP and the Owlcat Games computer version, but will also have significant changes from both so those who have played either can still expect surprises.
Expectations: Weekly posting is expected. I will try to be as responsive as possible, but there will be occasions where my availability on some Monday- Thursdays will be limited (That is the usual timeframe for trials).
Player Selection: The following will be my criteria for selection of players:
1) Character role
2) Character back story and concept
3) Order of submissions
4) New vs Experienced Plyer (if all else is equal, I will give new players a chance).
This list is not necessariy in order or comprehensive.
Character creation
25 pt. buy
Only PF1 Paizo material allowed (no 3PP)
Any playable race, though unusual races that may present problems for this type of campaign need very good reasoning in their backstory.
Any non-evil alignment allowed.
We are using the Elephant in the Room feat tax rules (World is Square for Hero Lab program).
Two traits. Do not pick a Campaign Trait, those will be determined after final selection.
Submission Standards:
A decent backstory that explains your character's motivation for being here. Note that the campaign opens at Jamandi Aldori's mansion where she is recruiting adventurers to go tame the Stolen Lands. I do not need a novel, a paragraph or two is sufficient. Also a small blurb about your projected development regarding character classes. Finally, say if you are contending for the role of Baron, or prefer to be a counselor. Don't worry, I will not limit recruitment to one contender.
After the backstory (which is enough to get you on the list as far as timing of submissions go), I want a completed character sheet. I allow revisions to the inital build all the way until 2nd level (as long as it is not a complete change of the character role you were picked for).
I will slect 6 players. I will also designate alternates that will be looked to first if replacements are needed. Recruitment will be opem until Midnight (EST) October 18th (a Staurday).
Good Luck!!!

New update. Trevor wrecked his bike and is in the hospital. He got pretty beat up, but nothing critical (bad concussion though). He was in traction for the last two weeks and they are making him mobile on Tuesday. We visited him yesterday and he's supposed to be released sometime next week. His laptop was also a casualty, but he said he will be on his PC when he gets home. He is still interested in continuing and said he will be stuck at home for a bit anyhow. He will post when he gets home.

Just an FYI, I haven't been able to contact Trevor for over a week and he also hasn't been at our regular Wednesday game for the last two weeks. We are a little worried. I will let you know if I hear from him.

@ Octavia: you see a good amount of activity in the area, almost all within the fort, and all trolls and kobolds. The front gates are destroyed, so there is no real barrier to entrance that way. You do see a lonbe troll pposted at the top end of the path that leads to the gates. He is apparently on guard duty. The back of the fort is built into the hillside, so there is no good way to approach from any direction but the front.
Btw, it is unheard of that trolls even tolerate the company of kobolds, much less live with them like this.

"I'm not sure why they have congregated here. Perhaps it had something to do with Dimwit, but I don't know how they could have known of him." Bartholomew answers.
"It matters not though, the threat is even more pronounced than I had imagined."
Btw, you notice that he did not even hesitate to call Faerin "Your Grace." He obviously has a means of staying well informed of events in the region.

@Faerin - Burst of Nettles is only a 10' burst I believe. The only way you can get all three trolls is if you also hit Bartholomew.

You leave early the next morning and head for Bartholomew's place. When you arrive, you encounter several groups of trolls. About half of them bear the brands that make them immune to fire, but you cut your way through to Bartholomews house. You also see that Bartholomew's new traps
summon giant spiders as several times you encounter trolls fighting them. The spiders ignore you and concentrate on the rolls (making your job somewhat easier). The door to his house is open and the inside is slightly ransacked, but there is no sign of the mage.
His barn that houses his lab also has the door open.
I'm not going to have you slog throught the all the trolls, as that would take forever in this format. Consider that Harrim has used about half of his healing so far. Ocatvia, I'm not sure what spells you have memorized, but mark off half (rounded down) of your offensive spells for now.

I guess we'll move forward. I have to update the campaign page with the current barony stats and event list, I'll do that tonight. I believe you were all headed to the old dwarven fortress that Ekun and Jubilost mentioned?

You gather in the town square for a small, public ceremony. The strong scent of fresh cut lumber pervades the area from the rush of new construction. Most of the townfolk have gathered to watch. An almost festival atmosphere infuses the ceremony. Jhod opens the ceremony with a benediction to Erastil (by far, the prevailing god that is venerated by the population), but also includes many others at the end. Harrim then steps forward and surprises everyone by giving a somewhat bright, for him, benediction that heavily follows the Green Faith. He even looks less glum than usual.
Linzi then presides over the ceremony. Pyros steps up and gives a short speech. He then calls Faerin forward and bequeaths a noble title upon her. Linzi then does a formal changing of leadership ceremony that ends with Faerin giving her oath to the land and the people of the barony. Linzi then presents Baroness Faerin to the crowd, who roar with approval.

Faerin, Lady Jamandi is not there, she is being represented by Kassil. We'll just say you said "Kassil" in place of her in your previous posts.
"There is no way for me to avoid this duty. My primary concern is determining a successor." Pyros says. He looks around the table.
"You are the ones at the core of this barony. Faerin has been here since the very beginning. If everyone agrees, I would nominate her to fill my post."

There is no wand of lesser restoration. I also suggest that the scrolls and potions just be grouped together and used by whoever as needed.

You know, Reg's idea is actually pretty great, Let's go with his version. It makes a plausable way to elevate Faerin while keeping a slight chance of Pyros's return (but not as Baron).

Hanging back, so the person can't hear, Martin whispers to Valtyra, "This is strange. Do you think that maybe this, er, 'construct' actually believes it is the real person?"
He thinks a moment.
"Of course this begs the question, where is the real Mr. Gauthfallow?"

This presents an interesting change in the dynamic. I can either go with the idea of the Baron being a background NPC, or we can go another direction if you all want. Everyone chime in with their opinions please.
Pyros, it is sad to see you go, but I understand fully what you are going through. I juts finished Law scholl last December and took the Bar in February. In fact, I am in orlando this weekend because I had my final Bar approval hearing yesterday.

He looks startled, then alarmed.
"Immune to fire?! Your Grace, recently I had a troll trigger one of my traps and escape harm. I thought he was just lucky, but this news of yours is dire indeed. Please.., follow me, there is a troll not far."
The wizard rushes off, leaving little choice but to follow him. A short distance later you come across a lone troll. Bartholomew's initial fire attacks do no damage, but you are able to down the troll with little effort once you resort to acid.
Bartholomew wipes sweat from his brow and leans over the troll's corpse.
"Amazing, fireproof after all. Fortunately steel and acid still work."
He searches the body then uses a knife to remove a patch of hide. Branded there is the same symbol you saw previously.
"This is it." He looks over to Reg.
"Just like your image. Interesting. I need to get some things from the house."
He hands you a key.
"Here, your Grace, this will open the barn where my lab is. I will meet you there shortly."

"Thank you for the offer, your Grace."
Dalton pauses in thought for a moment.
"These trolls are acting strangely, much more organized than usual. I also heard from one of the villages that they saw Kobolds working with them, that's even more unusual. There is a mage nearby, Barthalemow, that studies trolls. A very polite man, but a bit... odd. I visit him once a month to sell him reagents and such. He is somewhat of a recluse and his home is surrounded by traps except for a single path to his house. You should visit him, his knowledge of trolls may be of use to you."

Reg, you should be +11 to hit; BAB +4, STR +3, +1 scimitar, +1 Bless, and +2 flanking (with Fury). Also, if you aren't going to use spell combat, two hand the scimitar so you get +5 to damage... After you attack, then Fury can move to attack the Dryad if you want, that way you get flank for this round.
