The Hounds of the Imperium was founded in a galaxy far far away around 11 years ago to help defend Dark City on Corellia.

Callambea WILL be the premier trade hub in the River Kingdoms. As a member of the Aeternum Trade Alliance, I welcome the bravest citizens to join The Hounds for access to the best armor and weapons in game.

If you prove your mettle within The Hounds, I have no problem providing my finest crafted arms at no cost.

Membership has its benefits!

Woooo! Callambea is always looking for partners to build a trade empire the likes of which the River Kingdoms has never seen!

There are no winners. There are no losers. There is only profit... And Warstein Ale

If it's a Kobold Cleaver on your shoulder just swat it! :)

I used to love roll playing orcs in Ultima Online. We'd all put on orc masks and terrorize the towns. Hummies must die!

I thought Golgotha already had a system of imprisonment by stealing souls and sticking them in jars.

I'm going to play a crafter/merchant. When bandits start cutting too far into my profits, I'll start hiring mercenaries to protect me while I transport high value cargo.

If you're strong enough and capable of holding onto it, you're merchandise value goes up as other players who let themselves get robbed lose their product.

I think ego and a refusal to adapt to situations and player's needs will be the biggest hurdle for a lot of guilds. Leaders from themepark games are going to have a lot to overcome to become a successful leader in a game like PFO

Watching videos of "elite" guilds in WoW shocked me. It seemed like the person who could yell the loudest and berate the most players was the guild leader. I guess that's acceptable in a game where every role and action are set in concrete and never change. You're stuck with a leader like that because "ermagherd my helm might drop so it's worth it."

The more I read about bounty hunting, the more I get excited.

Seeing the trails that go to Callambea and the local resources gets me all giddy.

I might be doing a lot of smithing. I think hawt pant could be alternate wear during the Summer. I do worry about my dwarven leg hairs catching fire and burning down Callmbea. Yeah, maybe we should stick to kilts.

Goblin Squad Member

ATA will be my home for many years to come! As long as I don't have to wear a kilt and be jolly.... OK maybe I'll wear a kilt.

JUST in case anyone is crafting kilts, dark purple and blue might look good on me, but no lace around the fringes... OK maybe a little bit of lace fringe. ;)

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with my Destiny's Twin. The Houds definitely sounds like the place for him.

Goblin Squad Member

A quick game of pin the cleaver on the kobold would work for me.

I love that you mentioned it not being a recruitment tool.

The guide program should be a program to promote PFO by making the learning curve easier for newer players NOT as a recruitment tool.

I thought the Rune Books in Ultima Online were very well thought out. You had to have a mage mark a rune that was dropped on the ground. That rune became marked only to that spot. The marked runes could be dropped into a book for easy access allowing a person with adequate skill to Recall themselves to that location or anywhere else they had a marked rune.

Mages with a high enough skill could open a gate to a marked location allowing unlimited people to transport to a new location.

Mages with the ability to gate were pretty rare and could make a lot of gold transporting people around because it was a RARE ability.

I would love to see some form of gate travel used in PFO, but it would need to be extremely controlled.

Gates taking 30 seconds to open with the destination gate being visible the entire 30 seconds allowing players on the other side to prepare if needed.

Gates would only allow one or two unencumbered players through with a huge cooldown of 10-30 minutes.

GW released a 3-D map a loooong time ago and it turns out they must have known Aeternum was keen on prime real estate.

Hopefully Paizo's hard earned status will contribute to PFO's success.

There has been a lot of hatred and discourse amongst us in the Paizo forum. We are a tight community bound by time and numbers constricted to a mini forum world that will eventually become Pathfinder Online. Every person who is reading this is anxious that their hopes for the game will not come to fruition. We are miniscule compared to what is coming to PFO. Alliances should be made now before OE because the mega guilds are coming.

Burying a hatchet is a sign that all perceived wrongs of the past are forgiven. I, as a player, vow that I will never use anything said on the Paizo boards against a player in game.

No guild signatures needed. Just sign if you can make the past the past.

You guys are scary. With all the happenings of late we're still cool, right? I mean... I might be able to toss a few fresh bodies your way.

I can see a combination of McCarthyism and witch trials happening here.

"Are you or have you ever been a member of The Milani Accord?"

NO!

"We will see if you're telling the truth. Tie a boulder to his neck and throw him in the river! If he floats then he is innocent and was not a member of MA."

It's OK Feydred, they know what they're doing.
