Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Undead, you say? Elias grumbles and deeply sighs, just what we need... Where were you when they attacked?

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Yes, what happened? Have you been trapped down here?

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias will of course have his spear drawn, but he will be holding it in as non-threatening a way as possible

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias pleasantly addresses the figure before him, Despite your assault on me, I do not plan to hurt you. Now please, answer the good dwarf's question.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias touches his cheek, and sighs as he looks at the blood on his fingers as he pulls it away. He once again sets his shoulder as he tries to break down the door.

Strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Well, I guess I can give it a go, Fror. You really HAVE gotten soft Elias chuckles as he sets his shoulder to try to break down the door

Strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
You appear to have lost your touch, Fror, Elias will say as he chuckles, have the rigors of travel kept you from doing a hard days work?

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Let's do it. I love the idea of a gnome or halfling bobber

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

I believe we were unable to get the key last time we checked, and I don't think we have time to wait until you can ready new spells. I'm with Fror on this, we should break it down if Dart cannot unlock it. Elias will say, mumbling about how he wishes he had some adamantine.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias will nod and draw his spear, moving towards the southern door as the rest of the group moves, ready to strike if need be and sorely missing the companionship of Braxis.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Well, are we ready then? Time appears to be of the essence, we should not tarry Elias says as he raises his saddlebag to the lever, waiting for confirmation before releasing it

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Once Elias finishes filling up the saddlebags, he will return to his companions and hand them out to those who want them and move to position to set one in place.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

We are going to use them to keep some levers held down. We have reached an impasse in our progress and we believe this may help. Elias will mumble, not slowing in his work.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

The saddlebags seem like they would do the trick. I'll set to work.

Elias will proceed to fill up one of the saddlebags with sand and gravel from outside the crypt

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias will then walk to rejoin his other comrades, taking out two of the platinum coins and handing them to Dart and Maidie while declaring Obviously something opened. We must move quickly before what ever it was closes again and we are left without a way forward.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Well, at least the floor wasn't a trap here, Elias will say, tossing one platinum piece to Fror and tying the pouch to his hip, Let's meet up with our comrades and find where this door is.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias will move down (south, I think) to the end of the hallway and move carefully easy, trying to avoid any known or unknown traps while keeping an eye out for more levers

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Or perhaps there are more levers that just need to be pulled as well? Elias will say as he looks around for more levers to pull, not actually moving from his location

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Maidie has a valid question, though riddled with thorns: can you find a safe way through the maze? Elias says inquisitively, and can you do it quickly? I should like to investigate that sound before too mush time elapses.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

The unchained stuff is pretty cool. I'm actually building an Unchained Summoner for PFS at the moment

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias will shake his head at Fror's statement, thinking about things before he responds I don't think moving along these passages is perilous without a trapfinder. Though... He will look down the passages as he mumbles, I could perhaps conjure up some vermin to trip them, though I admit the thought makes me uncomfortable.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

It appears whoever wanted you to fall into the trap didn't want you to be terribly injured... Perhaps they feel they need you intact?

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 I, on the other hand, obviously am distracted by something :-P

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

In my experience, left is always a good way to go first. Perhaps we should head that direction?
Elias will say to Dart, after some deliberation within himself

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Slowly nodding, Elias will agree with Fror, and will begin walking towards the exit of the room with a grunt.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias stands at the edge of the pool, his arms crossed as he stares at it.

Hmmm... Should we attempt to retrieve it? It may be deep, but one of us may be able to swim to the bottom to retrieve it. Or... I have heard of mages able to retrieve things from a distance with magic he will say and look over to Maidie, Are you able to do this?

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias will nod at the arrangement and wait for his companion to move forward, readying his weapon to defend himself in the event of more undesirable elements.

I was thinking Entangle and CLW just in case, but since we're going into a cave I was going to replace Entangle with Snowball

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias will "hmmmm..." to himself at the responses from his companions.

Perhaps I need to be around humanoids more. I don't seem to understand their social interactions... he muses to himself silently as he stares into the fire.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Hm. Seems there is some tension between you and Dart, Elias will muse to Mossri, perhaps we should address this before we get into difficult situations? As with nature, there must be at least a tentative harmony.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Elias will grumble from his place on the ground Elias. Elias walker. This here is Fror Stonehammer. We're here to check on you, make sure you're not dead or something.
He will then deeply sigh, chewing on his words before he follows with Pardon my rudeness, I'm just a little upset because I had to leave my Braxis behind. I'll be better after I get some sleep.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

We were not sent to help you per-se, but I don't see any reason we cannot stay and help you seeing how your other companions appear to be missing. Elias will say as he lays down near where he assumes the fire is going to be. He seems a little perturbed, and if you'd heard of him or him seen him in town you'd know that he is usually seen in the company of an elk, whom is conspicuously absent at the moment.

Half-Elf Druid/1 - hp 9/10 l AC:16 Flat:14 Touch:12 l Fort: 3, Ref: 2, Will: 5 l Per: +9 l Init: +4

Should we introduce ourselves, or allow you to determine how we enter the scene?

Elias will chuckle at Derick's display Well, we will have to discuss this with Braxis, but I think we could somehow arange that. Not until he grows a little though, he's still just an adolecent.

As well, what are the thoughts on me taking a giant weasle rather than a megaloceros? I feel it would fit better because of its size, and it's still fun because weasle!

Elias will bow deeply to Maidie, And thank you as well for your vote. I shall go prepare Braxis for travel and meet with you when you are ready.

I am honored that you would choose me as a possible companion, Dart. If your companions choose the same way, then I will look forward to joining you on the quest for the Everflame. Though I will be watching my purse, just so you know (chuckle) Elias will say with a grin

(chuckle) Well played, Dart. Well played. Though I will admit material possesions matter less to me. The forest provides much of what I need.

I would rescue the old man, as starvation and thirst is not a fate a creature should suffer. It may be his time, but that shall not be his fate.

I mean, Sapling Treant was my first choice, but I couldn't afford the armor for it to give it, you know, more than 11 ac. On a different nore, how would a Roc be?

It is not a dinosaur, a megaloceros is in fact a giant elk (third entry on the page)

My (Phylotus') submission for the Grand Golarion Adventure

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Best of luck to all, i shall embark on my quest for vengeance on my own

Revenge is a wet balde blade, with the blood of my enemies dripping from the hilt, or them nailed to a mushroom for the oozes to feed from. They took everything from me, and one day, I will return the favor Salazar turns to Sashin well, then I look forward to what teachings you have for me. This may yet be an equitable relationship

I will of course allow you to lead me in me journey. But I will warn you up front, I plan to use this knowledge to punish those who have murdered my family as well. Salazar will turn to Tirion Power is not the only thing one seeks with pain and harm. Some wish only for retribution

Salazar looks over at Sashin Perhaps I have much to learn of your... unique perspective on torture. I have not experienced the kind of lash you speak of. Though tell me, can one teach another their errors through such religious means?

I suppose someone here would make a good candidate... though perhaps we should wait until we decide who is worth keeping around until we start deciding who gets to torture whom. Salazar says with a half grin on his face, remembering his more favored forms of torture. I would be careful with whom you eat though, one never knows where the rabble has been...

Salazar glares at Salacious and Faeryl The "weaker sex" is standing before you, you know. I understand you and yours hold the power, but it is still painful to refer to all of us as tools... he says as he polishes his pistol defeatedly, knowing he has no power to disagree with them

Haagenti is my patron. My family earned the knowledge of alchemy and gunpowder through devout service, and my life and soul are pledge to Haggenti alone

You don't need to be able to detect magic or cast deeper darkness in order to crush the weak beneath your heel

Hurkkagg, I am not of House Vakazar, but I assure you there is a place for you amongst those I will declare my overseers when I claim my domain, and that the rights afforded to you will be unprecidented compared to any other house. Help me carve my domain and the reward is yours.
