Mossri doesn't see any other real options, and thrusts at the skeleton in front of Rigs, trying to break its guard for the gnome.
Aid Another: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Maidie Henrod |

Maidie keeps slinging acid at the skeletons, somewhat relieved that the group seems to be able to hold their own against the horde of undead.
Acid splash w/acid flask focus - soft cover: 1d20 + 2 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 1 - 4 = 13 touch AC
Acid dmg: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Mossri Lillibottom |

Yeah, this has kind of jammed up here, I can't really do much from where I am except continue trying to aid another. I don't want to burn all my performances and I can't really damage the skeletons. If anyone has a better option, I'll trade spaces with you and start shooting at them. If not, I guess I'll keep aiding Rig.
Aid Another (Attack Roll): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Or not...

GM Dragon |

The group finishes off the remaining skeletons leaving nothing but scattered bones, broken swords and broken chain shirts among the debris. Khadon tells the group, "Two of us should return to Kassen and report what we found. They may want to send a few of the town guard to help investigate." He points to Tigeara and asks him to accompany him in case there are more lurkers on the way.

Mossri Lillibottom |

Mossri the cleric, who had always been a cleric, and certainly never one of those foolish bards, waves as her new-found friends left. She looks at Rig, Dart, and Maidie, shrugs, and begins examining the tomb. "Come on, everyone. In the name of Chaldira Zuzaristan, I shall purge this tomb of the evil within, and then we'll get the everflame, and everyone in the village will love us." She looks around, sniffing the air and searching for exits or useful items.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Derick "Dart" Valindir |

blah blah, valiantly stride forth to rid evil in gods name, blah blah. yeah yeah. Now Wheres the loot? I wanna be home by next week as a hero. Oh the poor girls who's hearts shall be broken when they find me off the market!
perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Maidie Henrod |

Mossri, your sheet is listing a shortsword under melee attacks, but a longspear under your equipment. Do you have both, or did you forget to change it? I think a reach weapon might still be a good idea, if nothing else then as a backup.
Maidie rolls her eyes, having already determined that it is usually better to ignore Dart's constant chatter.
"Lead the way then, Derick, and try not to bring another undead horde down on us." she quibs.
Just in case, she quickly scans the entrance room for magical auras. detect magic

Mossri Lillibottom |

Thanks for the catch. New character sheet problems, you know. I'll just go ahead and have both.
Mossri rolls her eyes at the byplay between Maidie and Dart.

Derick "Dart" Valindir |

Eh, what can I say, people mob me even in undeath. Its hard being so damn good. he gives a wink towards the two of them.
And besides, our old khadon and rigs were looking a bit bored so I wanted to give them a bit of entertainment.

Rigliame Gath |

"I had enough excitement for the trip from falling down a cliff. I'd pick a warm bowl of soup over whatever's past those bones any day.
But since we're here, and there's no soup to be seen, I suppose we'd better find out what happened to the ponies.
And speaking of warmth..." Rigs reaches into the pack he found by the horses, pulling out a vial of oil. He pockets it. "Maybe whoever rode this horse knew more about this than we do. They had the sense to bring arrows that will do more to the skeleton's than Mossri's spear did, anyway.
Are you guys ready?"

Mossri Lillibottom |

"Nope. Crossbow. Just shoots bolts. Besides, won't fit it." Mossri continues to poke around the room, too preoccupied with her search to bother answering in full sentences.

GM Dragon |

Maidie Henrod |

Maidie sets up her portable lab, and begins to neatly organize her various ingredients.
"Might as well spend the time doing something useful. I'm sure I can mix up something that will be useful. A solvent, perhaps or perhaps a tanglefoot bag, although those are a bit expensive in raw materials..." she says out loud as she works, mostly to herself it seems.

GM Dragon |

Mossri- "I need to walk a little after that fight. Those skeletons were scary creatures"she decides to gather firewood making sure not to wonder too far out of sight of the others.
Rigliame- "I'll help you Mossri, we can gather more wood together. Besides if there is anything out there, you're gonna need a protection"
They both wonder off and gather firewood for later that night.

GM Dragon |

Maidie Henrod |

hmph, we might get some of that soup he wanted yet. Say maidie, how's it you always manage to end up alone with me? You must be smarter than you look. And ya look pretty smart to start with.
"Yes, I must be one of Desna's Favored or something, with luck like that." Maidie says, in a voice dripping with sarcasm.
Ignoring any further clever comments from Dart, Maidie sets about making a smokestick.

GM Dragon |

As you two are conversing, two forms approach your campsite. One, a dwarf dressed in scale mail with a warhammer over his shoulder and a shield on his back. The other, an elf dressed in hide armor, carrying a spear and a sickle. You recognize them as citizens of Kassen, though their names you don't know or can't remember.
We made it guys, never thought we'd get here. Now I gotta figure out how to ditch the gnome and the Halfling! Once Dart and or Maidie acknowledge to you, then the new players may join in using the information I sent to each of you.

Fror Stonehammer |

I'm kind of assuming we will know each other based on Kessen not being that big, but i can change things if you want.
Removing his helmet and running his hand through his long copper hair.
"Hail Dart, I know I don't spend much time in town anymore, but do you not remember me? Fror... Fror Stonehammer, if not I am sure you remember my Aunt and Uncle, Gorek and Harga Stonehammer. This is Elias. As we missed the ceremony we were sent to see that you all got here safely as Holgast has disappeared. It is probably nothing, you know how he is, but we had to look."
Noticing the others are missing for the first time.
"Where are the others?"

Maidie Henrod |

When she spots the approaching figures, Maidie's hand goes instinctively to her vial of acid, prepared to conjure a splash of the corrosive liquid if the intruders are hostile.
When she sees the familiar faces, she relaxes somewhat, but still keeps the vial in her hand, as if the feel of it comforts her.
At first content to let Dart do the talking, she speaks up at the mention of her mentor.
"Holgast is missing?" she exclaims, with notable concern in her voice. After a second, she collects herself and does her best to appear nonchalant. "Oh well, as you say, it's probably nothing. The man spends the better part of his time roaming around Nethys knows where. You couldn't keep track of him if you tied a piece of string to his thumb."
She looks the two newcomers up and down.
"Did they send you here to help us find the Everflame and light the lantern? Well, the more the merrier, I suppose. Mossri and Rigliame are out gathering wood. I'm surprised you didn't see them on your way into camp."

Elias Walker |

We were not sent to help you per-se, but I don't see any reason we cannot stay and help you seeing how your other companions appear to be missing. Elias will say as he lays down near where he assumes the fire is going to be. He seems a little perturbed, and if you'd heard of him or him seen him in town you'd know that he is usually seen in the company of an elk, whom is conspicuously absent at the moment.

Elias Walker |

Elias will grumble from his place on the ground Elias. Elias walker. This here is Fror Stonehammer. We're here to check on you, make sure you're not dead or something.
He will then deeply sigh, chewing on his words before he follows with Pardon my rudeness, I'm just a little upset because I had to leave my Braxis behind. I'll be better after I get some sleep.

GM Dragon |

Well maybe you wasn't rude to me directly, but to Khadon you were! Remember after the orc battle? You made a statement, in an annoying childish tone Mossri finishes, At least me and Tigs can hit things! That Dart, was a rude thing to say, especially when it was purely magic that fooled us all. She turns back to finish getting the fire ready to start.

Elias Walker |

Hm. Seems there is some tension between you and Dart, Elias will muse to Mossri, perhaps we should address this before we get into difficult situations? As with nature, there must be at least a tentative harmony.

Elias Walker |

Elias will "hmmmm..." to himself at the responses from his companions.
Perhaps I need to be around humanoids more. I don't seem to understand their social interactions... he muses to himself silently as he stares into the fire.

Derick "Dart" Valindir |

Mossiri, Rigs, Someone should watch the entrance to the crypt halls, I'd rather not have the grisly scene outside be repeated.. Would you two care to do the honor of that? Besides that, I trust you two to not let anything sneak up behind us while we are in the crypt.

Maidie Henrod |

"Dart makes a good point. Also, if we should be trapped inside somehow, it will be nice to have help close by. We'll mark our passage and if we're not out again by daybreak tomorrow, come look for us."
Since we are three prepared spellcasters, we should probably compare spell selections to avoid overlap. Maidie's spellbook and current selection are in her stat block

Fror Stonehammer |

"Well i wouldn't want to steal their spots, but I would like to see what is down there. Maybe we can swap around again later, but it would certainly be good to have our back covered."
I don't think i overlap you Maidie, i couldn't see Elias' spells. I've gone bless, shield of faith and remove fear, with my o lvl being detect magic, read magic and guidance. I figured it helps to have extra read and detect.

GM Dragon |

Both Mossri and Rigliame agree to stay behind and watch the entrance for the group. Nothing will get pass this entrance!. Rigliame says as he puffs out his little chest. If you need us we'll be right here! Mossri finishes,
You notice two doors leading further into the crypt. The room you are in has what remains of the skeleton battle.
[ooc]Remember, for directions sake, north is always the top of the map![/b]
