I, too, had a rough January but not as bad as your situation. I got Covid on the 1st week of Jan and the cough lingered on for a couple of weeks. Not sure if it is part of long Covid but it kept me immobile. After being desperate I went to Urgent Care and they prescribed prednisone. After 5 days of prednisone, I developed a DVT in my right calf so now I'm Eliquis. The cough is gone but now I have to be on Eliquis for the next 2-3 months. Sucks getting old.

Belated Happy New Year. Recovering from Covid these last couple of days. 3 of 4 in my house has Covid. Not sure how I got it. I work from home these days.

I too was hospitalized for 7 days with pneumonia back in 2005. Not fun. Then took another week just to be able to walk outside without getting tired.

Danica will take 1 of the Cloak of Resistance +2. Currently she is cloak-less.

Danica will do her part. Casting her detection spells; evil, law, chaos.
She will also use her Discern Lies ability.

Danica pulls out her holy symbol and holds it for the vampire to see.

I'll agree with Skorn. Danica will take the spell components.

As for the Bracers of Defense (+3), Danica will hold on to them and sell them. Mage armor is much better with having a mage in the background.

Danica does the needful to dispatch the helpless vampires. A wooden stake through the heart, cutting off the head into pieces and, if possible, burning the remains. Danica whispers "I really hate these guys."

Beside of the Detect Evil she will also cast Detect Good when she can get the opportunity.

Any results from the Detect Evil?

I am going to make a commitment as well in posting more. I can now review actions on my work computer now. Work has been draining. I guess that is why we play D&D, a little of escape from reality.

With clothes on Danica's arm thinking about trying them on she begins to cast her Detect Evil to the sales group while no one is looking. She tries to find opportunities to disguise her detections.

I guess Danica will continue to work with the sales group as she does not know what is transpiring.

I'm a little confused here. Danica is by herself in the store as a distraction. Where is everyone else? I know Anna is upstairs investigating.

Again, I found out that my account was not updating with new posts. I think this happened to me a year or two ago. Needed to delete cookies and reset the password. Look like I'm back on.

Hey, what about dumping the vamps in that pocket dimension that Tolvan has. When we are done with them we can pull them out somewhere else.... preferably in the fields under the bright sun.

"Let's keep the party private for now. Stake to the heart is the best way to go. I have 1 vial of holy water but we may need it against a boss or something. So who is gonna take the plunge..... pun intended."

Any items in the basement that be be used as a wooden stake?

Danica looks for any wood lying around. Anything will do. Legs from a wooden chair or table.

Decapitate - Check. Danica has temple sword.
Holy Water - Check. We got Sonny and Danica to bless water. Plus Danica has 1 flask of holy water.
Sun - maybe a check here. Sonny and I have Sun Domain spells. Danica has Searing Light which does the following: An undead creature takes 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 10d6), and an undead creature particularly vulnerable to bright light takes 1d8 points of damage per caster level (maximum 10d8).

I think we got all the basis covered amongst two Children of Sarenrae.

Danica whispers to the site of the sleeping vampire. "I suggest we dispatch this blood-sucker quickly." Danica slowly unsheathes her temple sword ready to execute.

OMG. Sorry guys, specially for missing on the combat. Work is driving me nuts. I kind of envisioning Danica having one of those moments where the character twitching due to MMORPG connection issues. (you guys ever play those games.... Everquest II?)
