Ok! Discussion room for the Adventure Path!

Ok, here begins the game!

Hi there!

I want to play the Pathfinder Adventure Path Jade Regent in the Paizo forums (PBP).

It would be theater of the mind combat.

5 more players are needed.

Each book of the adventure path is going to be GMed by one of the players, so at the end of the adventure path all the players have GMed one book.

So... interested in the adventure? If so, post here with the concept of your character.

My two concepts of characters are:
- a human monk focusing on self improvement
- a human magus from the distant lands of the east.

The first 5 players will get the seat!

Liberty's Edge

Hello!

I'm working in a extremely strange cleric build with 2 bucklers, 1 in each hand. He has no weapon, because he is totally healer/buffer. So, my strategy is to have a potion in one hand all the time and a scroll in the other. I have some thoughts that need to be confirmed here. Please, tell me what of the following statements isn't correct:

1- I can only benefit of one shield each round. I can't never stack the two AC shield bonus.

2- I can use a buckler to defend myself holding a potion or scroll in that hand as long as I don't use that potion or scroll in that round.

3- I can get out of my bagpack a potion or a scroll with a "buckled" hand as a move action.

4- I can activate a scroll with one hand while defending myself with the buckler in the second hand while holding a potion in the second hand.

And now a question: Is there any feat to retrieve stored items without provoking attacks of opportunity?

Thanks for your time!

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone:

I have a Merciful Healer Cleric level 1. I have the Rebuke Death (sp) ability:

Rebuke Death (Sp): You can touch a living creature as a standard action, healing it for 1d4 points of damage plus 1 for every two cleric levels you possess. You can only use this ability on a creature that is below 0 hit points. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

The Combat Medic (Ex) says:

A merciful healer does not provoke attacks of opportunity when using the Heal skill to stabilize another creature or casting healing spells.

So, the question is:

Do I provoke an attack of opportunity while using my Rebuke Death ability?

Thanks for your answers.

You are in Absalom, the mighty City at the Center of the World,
and you’ve always longed to explore one of the countless ruins of
failed conquerors that litter the plains outside the city’s walls.
You’ve heard rumors that one of the sealed siege castles has
been laid open by a minor earthquake. Word on the street is
that no one has yet entered the tower, which folks are calling the
“Fallen Fortress.” What better way to start a life of excitement
and adventure than by exploring its long-abandoned, dusty
halls and perhaps claiming its ancient treasures?

Flashback mode ON
One of the administrators of the Pathfinder Society is in front of you, in this office in Absolom.
-So what? Did you think you could meet one of the Grandmasters in your first mission? Ha! You have to prove you are worthy before that. And that's what you will try to do in this mission. -the administrator gets near a window and see as far as the other buildings let him see- You will go that way. I want you to infiltrate in one of the ruined fortress that help us centuries ago to repel our invaders. Now, all of that fortress are mere ruins, but could contain useful artefacts for the society. -then, he turns again to you- But you aren't there to retrieve treasures, beginners. You are there to retrieve Balenar Forsend, another beginner... but one that deserves our respect for what he has done for the Society up to now. He left Absalom heading one of the fortress, one that our sages call "The Fallen Fortress", because the ruined state result of the earthquake not long ago. Now, go! Retrieve it alive... if you can.

Hello, everyone!

I have a masterwork chain shirt. Normal chain shirt has -2 armor penalty. So this particular masterwork chain shirt has -1.

But my character has the trait "armor training". Do this means that my chain shirt's armor penalty is 0 when used by this character?

Thanks for the answers!

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for 4 players with 1 level characters for a play-by-post game of the sanctioned module Masters of the fallen fortress.

Anyone?

Liberty's Edge

Hello everyone:

I have found this in the Module section of the 4.1 guide:

<<A GM who runs a module may likewise apply the
Chronicle sheet to one of her Pathfinder Society characters.
The GM must decide which of her characters will receive
the Chronicle sheet at the time when the module is
completed and the Chronicle sheets are filled out.>>

But I have to ask: do the GM has any level restriction with the chronicle? For example: I play Feast of Ravenmoor (level 3 module) as a GM and I'll give the chronicle to my level 7 character. Or I play Tomb of the Iron Medusa (level 14 module) and I give the credit to my level 5 character. Is this still correct?

Thanks for your answers.

Hello, everyone!

I have seen that Golarion has a lot of our real human cultures tweaked to be slightly different. I could recognize Viking culture, and countries like China, Japan or Korea in the Jade Regent Adventure Path. I could see Romania like cities in Carrion Crown.

My question is: Is there any region of Golarion resembling in any manner to Spain? I would like to know if there is any eco of my country in Golarion.

Thanks for your answers.

Liberty's Edge

Hello everyone!

I have heard that the monk losses consistency as he grows up in level. They told that this is true because the role of the monk isn't too defined.

Is this true? Monk is my second favourite class in Pathfinder, following the Magus.

Thanks for the answers.

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

This is a game. You have to guess what was Jason Bulmahn's base abilities at level 1.

Let me explain. If you go to Jason Bulmahn's page you will see his actual ability scores:

Strength 13
Dexterity 9
Constitution 14
Intelligence 17
Wisdom 13
Charisma 13

But we have to take this considerations:
-he is now a level 20 character (Architect 4/Editor 6/Game Designer 10), so, he had 5 ability points to advance until now.
-he is "Human.. mostly", so he had a +2 to an ability at level 1 (as the others demi-humans do).

So, the question for you is: What was the Jason Bulmahn's base ability scores at first level (Architect 1)? Place your bet!

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

I want to change my primary avatar (Ravenath) and I get this message: "That avatar name is already in use by another account."

Did you know about this bug?

Thank you for your great work.

Liberty's Edge

Hello everyone!

I'm making a gnome alchemist and I wonder if there is any gnomish deity.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

You are goblins of the Licktoad tribe, who live deep in Brinestump
Marsh, south of the hated man-town called Sandpoint. Once,
other goblins tried to burn Sandpoint down, and they would
have been legends if they had succeeded. But they didn’t bring
enough fire, and got themselves killed as a result.
Yesterday, your tribe discovered that one of your own had
been using forbidden arts and was engaged in one of the
greatest of taboos—writing things down. In fact, rumor holds
that what he was writing was a history of your tribe! There’s no
swifter way to bring about bad luck than stealing words out of
your mind by writing them down, and so your tribe had no
choice. You branded the goblin’s face with letters to punish
him, which is why everyone calls him Scribbleface now, and
then you ran him out of town, took all of his stuff, and burned
down his hut.

That’s where things got interesting, because before you all
burned down his hut, Chief Gutwad found a weird box within
the building. Inside was a map and a lot of fireworks—fireworks
that immediately came to use in burning the hut down. Then,
this morning, Gutwad announced that tonight there would
be a feast in order to drive out any lingering bad luck from
Scribbleface’s poor decisions. But perhaps even more exciting,
all of you have been secretly invited to meet at Chief Gutwad’s
Moot House. Why would the chief want to speak to you? It
can only mean that he’s got an important mission for
you all... one that the other goblins of the
tribe couldn’t pull off. This could
be your chance to go down in
Licktoad history!

Inside chief house, Chief Gutwad sits precariously atop his 6 foot tall Teeter Chair. Slorb, his right hand, takes you in. Chief Gutwad never talks his goblins directly. He says that his voice could scare the words inside their heads and run far away. Slorb says you to sit in the ground, in front of the Chief. A great honor, indeed.

Surprisingly, Chief Gutwad speak loud, with a deep and booming voice:
Image of Ghief Gutwad
-“You all be heroes. Each of you. You are best Licktoads but
for me. And maybe but for Slorb. That you aren’t fleeing in
terror from mighty sound of my voice is all the proof
you should need. Yet soon, all Licktoad
goblins will know your might, for I have
picked you for a dangerous mission.
“You know about fireworks and
map we found in Scribbleface’s
hut. Fireworks were fun. But
map is more fun. It shows
a route to a place near the coast
where Scribbleface found fireworks.
And it says there are more fireworks there!
“I want them for Licktoads. You all go get
them tomorrow. Tonight we have big bonfire to burn
bad luck away from you, and we play many
games. Much fun. Tomorrow you fetch
me fireworks. If you meet men, you make
them dead. If you meet dogs, you make
them dead. If you meet horses, you make
them dead. If you meet Lotslegs Eat Goblin Babies Many, you
maybe should run. And if you not find fireworks, you not come
back or we feed you to Squealy Nord! Any question?”

His look says that he isn't in the mood to ear so many questions, but you could try.

Hello, everyone!

Here we are. This is the out of character thread of the game. I'll post here the goblins sheets so you can copy it.

Reta Bigbad

Reta likes to torment small, harmless animals and usually
has a pocket full of such creatures in case she gets bored.
She finds it hard not to shout when she speaks, and loves
taking risks in combat to scare her enemies.

of rope with dead moles sewn into it, small silver mirror,
jar of human perfume (half drunk), meat hook, leather
satchel, flint and tinder, set of false teeth, pocketful
of caterpillars

New Feat: Dog-Sniff-Hate
Unlike many goblins, you’re not particularly afraid of
dogs. You know what dogs smell like, and that smell
makes you mad. Very mad.
Prerequisite: Goblin, Skill Focus (Perception)
Benefit: You gain the scent ability, but only against
canines (including dogs, goblin dogs, wolves, worgs,
yeth hounds, and any similar creature, subject to GM
approval). Against these creatures, you gain a +1 morale
bonus on attack rolls and a +2 morale bonus on weapon
damage rolls.

Goblin Trait: Balloon Headed
Your head is particularly wide and large, even for a
goblin. You gain a +1 bonus on Perception checks, and
Perception is always a class skill for you. Any Escape
Artist checks that requires you to squeeze your head
through a tight space take a –8 penalty.

Chuffy Lickwound
Sadistic Chuffy is horrible indeed. He loves to sneak up
on his enemies and stab them. If he gets the chance, he
also likes to light fires—lighting fires is Chuffy’s idea of
great fun, almost as enjoyable as causing big explosions.

child’s doll with the eyes taken out, grappling
hook, 3 tindertwigs, curved sewing needle, set
of thieves’ tools, cowbell (worn)

Goblin Trait: Pustular
Your face is covered in unpleasant pimples and outright
boils that have a tendency to pop at inopportune
moments. Although this makes you particularly
ugly, you’re also used to discomfort. Whenever you’re
subjected to an effect that causes the sickened condition,
you may make two saving throws to avoid the effect (if
a saving throw is allowed), taking the better of the two
results as your actual saving throw.

Poog of Zarongel
Poog is a frightening little cleric of the goblin deity
Zarongel, the sacred god of dog-killing, fire, and
most holy mounted combat. That Poog isn’t very
good at mounted combat is his not-so-secret shame,
so he funnels most of his energy into attempts to
overachieve at his god’s other sacred teachings—
killing dogs (although he hasn’t yet killed one,
he hopes to do so some day) and lighting fires
(something that Poog is already pretty good at).

toad), jar of pickled fish heads (the equivalent of 1 day’s trail
rations), 6 torches, flint and tinder, almost empty salt shaker,
pig’s tail (snack), wooden flute (too
splintery to play for long without injury)
Goblin Trait: Goblin Bravery
You have a worrying propensity for
overconfidence in combat. When facing an
enemy that’s larger than you, if you have no allies
in any adjacent squares, your posturing, bravado, and
cussing grant a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls with non-
reach melee weapons.

Mogmurch
Ten-year-old Mogmurch is deranged. Mogmurch lives
with his mate Rempty, who has an irritating habit of
licking his face clean in public (especially when he leaves
the village). She thinks his use of alchemy is very clever,
and while she loves the flavor Mogmurch’s experiments
leave on his face, she worries that he’ll some day blow

ready to eat (counts as 1 day’s field rations), juicy slug in a
small pot (snack), skull face mask, metal codpiece, jester’s
hat, pumpkin-head lantern, black eyepatch (with hole
cut in it to see), hard leather boot (used as belt pouch),
formula book (contains all extract formulae known)

Goblin Trait: Bouncy
Your bones, flesh, and skin are a bit more elastic than
those of most goblins—when you fall, you tend to
bounce a little better than them as a result. Whenever
you take falling damage, the first 1d6 points of lethal
damage suffered in the fall are automatically converted
to nonlethal damage. You also gain a +2 bonus on all
Reflex saves made to avoid unexpected falls.

Hello, everyone!

A bunch of players is looking for a GM to begin with the adventure path "Kingmaker". We have the character concepts, but the GM will post the final rules to create the characters.

Is any godly GM willing to recreate a world for this group of brave adventurers?

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

This is a recruitment post a little different from what you are used to. I'm a player that want's to play Kingmaker Campaign. But, all the campaign post are filled very quickly.

So, I have thought this: I'll recruit 4 players (including me) and ask for a GM in a different post. I have seen this working for other people before.

So, who wants to try this!?

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

I'm looking for a bunch of goblins to play the module "We Be Goblins" in Pathfinder Society mode. This means that the players will be given a Chronicle Sheet to apply to any of his Pathfinder Society Characters (tiers 1-2).

So... Any goblin around here?

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

I'm looking for a place to find heavily optimized character builds, level 10. Is there any website with this kind of information?

Thanks a lot for the info!

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone:

I wonder what's up when you have a Society Game bya Play-by-Post and, in the middle of the scenario, half your players leaves the game. Is the game still legal for the rest of the players? Do I have to make a Chronicle's Sheet for the players that leave the game?

Thanks for your answers.

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

I want to know if a magus can use spell combat with his spell-like abilities. I have read that spell-like abilities work like spells.

Thanks for your answers.

Your boots squash with fetid water as you plod through the Puddles. A thick fog hangs in the air, seeming almost to caress the flesh with an unnatural chill. As you stand outside the Soggy Piper in a foot and a half of brackish brine, you try to recall what was so damned important to demand your presence in the half-flooded slum during Absalom’s rainy season. You remember your meeting at the Lodge just a few hours earlier with your Venture-Captain, Adril Hestram.

A bear of a man with only a few teeth remaining in his head, he motioned you into the meeting hall with a casual wave of his grizzled hand. The human captain outweighs most of Absalom’s half-orcs, and though a layer of beefy blubber coats his frame, those of you who have tangled with him in the Lodge sparring ring know that beneath this thin veneer of fat lies nothing but solid, steely sinew. Adril’s wild beard wags to the ponderous shake of his massive head as he examines a scrap of ancient
parchment on the table before raising his eyes to greet your gaze and speaking:

“Come in then, friends, and thank you for answering my summons so swiftly. The society is in need. An old and quite penniless historian, a bespectacled wag-beard by the name of Yargos Gill has recently made a discovery in an old archive that we have a great interest in obtaining: an ancient codebook, left behind in the wake of one of Taldor’s many failed attempts at invasion. This several-hundred-year-old text would prove an excellent addition to our collection, and must be preserved.

“Yargos makes his home in ‘The Puddles,’ Absalom’s poorest district, suffering from a well-known reputation as a haven for lowlifes. Following an earthquake ten years ago, parts of the Puddles now rest below sea level, resulting in frequent and untimely flooding. Those who can afford not to live there—don’t.

“The district is the stomping ground of pimps, harlots, addicts, knifers, and hoards of unseemly derelicts. It’s never been a kind place, but recent reports reveal some new nameless terror on her waterlogged streets. Several persons claim to have seen cloaked, skeletal-like figures marching through an unnatural fog. Ill tidings indeed. Tracking down Yargos is now a priority—--lest some yellow-toothed thug cut him down, or one of these strange wraiths carry him beyond the pale. Find
him, fellow Pathfinders, and find the codebook. Your exploits will be recorded in the Chronicles if you succeed.”

The memory fades as a fresh deluge of cold seawater rounds a bend in the lane and assaults your knees. After searching for Yargos at his favorite eatery, the Soggy Piper, you learned you just missed him. According to the Piper’s staff, a gang of dangerous young tattooed toughs arrived ahead of you. They grabbed Yargos and several of his friends from their dinner table and dragged them to a nearby cliff at the edge of the
Puddle District. The watch was called, but they will arrive too late, as they often do in the Puddles, when they bother to venture there at all.

It is early evening, the first Wealday of the month of Desnus, an old man is about to face some awful fate at the sea cliff known as Torsen’s Maw, and you are no closer to finding the codebook Adril sent you for.

Dear customer service personal:

I have been charged 2 days ago for my goods (pathfinder module subscription, pathfinder adventure path subscription), but my order keeps the "pending" status.

I wonder how many time will pass until my order would have been shipped.

Well, this is the OOC thread of our PFS game. So... hello everyone!

Liberty's Edge

Hello everyone!

I'm going to run my first Pathfinder Society Scenario as a GM, via Play-By-Post.

The scenario will be #1: Silent Tide.

If you are interested, please tell me in this thread by a post with the name, the race, the class, description and a real short history of your character.

And the recruiting begins... NOW!

Liberty's Edge

One sacred book says: "When the moon turns red and the Ravenath's wife wants to play his first Pathfinder RPG ever, the world will come to an end".

Well, that day has come. Tomorrow night (friday, Mar 4 2011), my wife and I will have our first attempt of a Pathfinder RPG game. She has never play an rpg before, and I don't want to waste this opportunity, because this kind of planetary conjunction only takes place each 4-5 hundreds of years.

So... Do you know any module or scenario easy to play, with social interaction and without a lot of combat to use in this extremely rare event? Do you have any tips about how to make this work and how to make my wife wanting more Pathfinder and not to divorce me?

Thanks for your answers and your time.

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone:

Let's take this case:

-I'm a GM in PFS.
-I have 2 PC created in my PFS account.
-I buy one scenario and I play it as GM.
-I give my PC#1 a chronicle sheet for this scenario.
-A friend of mine buys the same scenario and prepare a game as GM for it.
-I play that scenario with PC#1

Now, the questions:
A) Is this cheating? I read the scenario before the actual game because I played it as GM.
B) My PC#2 takes his own Chronicle Sheet for this scenario, even when my PC#1 has it already?

Thanks for your questions.

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

I want to know which of the actual scenarios have undeads involved. I love undeads (I can't wait for Carrion Crown) and I want to be GM of all of scenarios involving undeads. If the undead involved is the final boss, the better.

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

I have an interesting character concept that I'm willing to play. I want it to evolve, so I want it to play in PFS games and make it work.

Any PFS GM looking for players? Thanks in advance.

Terror on the Cliff
A leaning monument to the district’s pain, this four-story courthouse is a crumbling marvel of cracked plaster and chipped marble. Once a testament to justice wrought in shining white stone, the courthouse is now a crushed dream, its wretched exterior corrupted by a bloated evil festering within. Rainwater from a recent downpour mixed with mulch oozes from ruptures in the rock like pus bubbling from a wound. The structure of the eastern wing of the upper floor buckled long ago, and now the bell tower tilts perilously, appearing as though it might careen to the ground below at any moment. Two massive pillars frame the heavy oak doors of the court. The pillars’ surfaces run with cracks and fissures like so many burst veins. The doors sag in their archway like the drooping eyes of a madman. The surrounding structures long ago fell in upon themselves in supplication to the creaking courthouse. A salt wind blows up the precipice and rakes across the tangled weeds of Beldrin’s Bluff. The whole building groans as the wind blows, its tortured lamentation fading to a rasping hiss as the wind ebbs. This croaking murmur never completely fades away. The sun sets in the west, the last slivers of twilight painting the courthouse blood red as darkness creeps closer.

Then, you feel a little dizzy, and you have a vision:

Dorian Lothbrock:

The courtroom buzzes with nervous anticipation. Dozens of eyes, from the crowd behind you and the jurors’ box across the aisle, focus on you. The expressions range from contempt to pity, but there is no forgiveness in their faces. The magistrate slams down his gavel repeatedly and snarls for silence. The murmur of the crowd relents as the stocky magistrate draws up to his full height, smoothing a silver beard with one hand as he sets down his gavel and focuses on you with shining green eyes. “Jarbin Mord. For the brutal and savage slaying of your own wife and six-year-old boy, it is the verdict of this jury, with which I concur wholeheartedly, that you shall hang by your neck until dead. May the gods take mercy on your blackened soul.”

Halor al'Shiman:

A clack of wood on wood is followed by a whip crack of rope drawing taut. The crunch of vertebrae echoes off the walls. A man’s booted feet twitch freakishly as his last breath rasps from his ruined throat in a choking death rattle. You suddenly realize the man is you, and you look down in horror at your own twitching legs. The crowd jeers with delight and laughs as you rasp your last.

Isaiah and Nichelle Crassior:

A hulking man is hunched over in this dark dreary corridor of cold flagstone, his back to you. His right hand works feverishly, sawing away at something unseen with a blood-slick shortsword as he gibbers: “Show me the way, Sashrala, you can do it. Use your magic to show me out of here. I love you. I love you so much. Just please show me the way!” With a final wet snap of sinew, blood pools at the man’s feet and he hefts the gory head of a beautiful elven woman. “Thank you, Sashrala. I love you.” The man cries and laughs at once as he kisses her still-working lips and then thrusts her head forward like a lantern. The poor woman’s eyes still blink in disbelief; you get the horrid sense she can still see as her mouth trembles out a vain and silent plea for mercy. Her body lies in a pool of blood flowing freely from her hacked neck. Her right arm is outstretched, her finger pointing toward something beyond the darkness.

Elora Marion:

A cloaked figure enters a small attic. A voluptuous woman with dark features sits in a rocking chair, swaying as she hums and knits a sweater for a small child. She looks up, alarm on her face, as the figure closes, its back to you as it advances toward her. Slowly the alarm changes to horror as the figure looms over her.

Slowly, the vision fades away as you return to consciousness, but the sight that greets you is almost as disturbing. The dying gray light of sunset peeks through slits in the boarded windows, barely illuminating a yawning courtroom replete with pews and a towering bench covered in cobwebs. A shadowed mural on the domed ceiling above depicts Iomedae in her shining plate mail of gilded sunlight, locked in mortal combat with Norgorber, Calistria, and Asmodeus, holding the trifecta of evil at bay with her shining sword. You find yourself in a jurors’ box, and you are not alone. In the other chairs, figures stir in the darkness, each emerging from troubling dreams into a new nightmare.

I want to discuss this. What if the attacker of a touch attack has more strength? He hasn't to surpass any resistance to touch his enemy. The attacker has to be fast, and has to have the accuracy needed to touch him before he can dodge it.

So, I see that Dexterity has more to say in a touch attack than strength. And so I homerule it.

What do you think about this?

Hello there!

Here we can speak about the testing, the character creation and all about the "Terror on the cliff" testing game, out of character, of course.

Liberty's Edge

Hello there!

I want to know the community opinion about this. There are several Pathfinder RPG modules, as seen in this page:

http://paizo.com/pathfinder/modules/pathfinderRPG

Which of these is the best module of all?

Thanks for your opinions.

Hello everyone!

I have never played any Pathfinder Adventure Path (I meet Pathfinder RPG a few weeks ago) and I want to buy one. But, I would love to know if any Adventure Path has undeads involved, or as a main theme.

Thanks for your answers and your time.

Liberty's Edge

Hello, everyone!

I'm a big fun of undeads and I wonder if there is any non-evil undead cities or PNJs in Pathfinder Setting.

Thanks for your answers!

Who wants to join the playtesting game?

Hello there!

I have a really old necromancer ready to begin his search for power in a Pathfinder Society by Post.

Any play in need of a player?

Hello again!

I have had a lot of good responses in my other thread LEVEL 15 AND UP... BROKEN??? and I wanted to extract some of the good ideas in a cleaner thread.

So, experienced GM of all over the world, please enumerate the biggest problems that a GM could face with characters of lvl 15 to 20, and your ways to deal with it.

Thanks in advance for you time and your answers. This will help a lot of GM without experience in high levels play.

Hello everyone:

I want to play Pathfinder Society games by post. I'm a busy spanish married guy, so I have some problems to gather a local group, taking into account that Pathfinder hasn't been released in Spain.

So, I have a lot of Pathfinder Society legal level 1 characters waiting for a group to join and enjoy the Pathfinder Society storyline.

I thank you all you responses.

Hello there!

I have read around here that high levels are broken. Badly designed.
I can't believe this to be true. Pathfinder has had around 50.000 beta testers! How can be broken an important part of the game like the high levels game? 50.000 beta testers hasn't noticed that? Pretty difficult to believe.

What do you say? Are the high levels broken?

Hello, there!

I have read that there is 2 continents in Golarion with Asian (ancient chinese, japanese or korean) flavor.

1. What are these Asian continents? Where can I found info about them?
2. Is there any Greek-like continent?

Thanks for your responses.

Hello there!

I have read this in the rules and I get shocked:

"If a wizard attempts to cast a spell without his bonded object worn or in hand, he must make a concentration check or lose the spell. The DC for this check is equal to 20 + the spell's level."

What this means is that the wizard can't cast spells without his bound item normally? I have been thinking this is some kind of errata. But it's in the Pathfinder Reference Document too! So, the wizards gets almost defendless without his bond item!

Can anybody tell me I'm wrong? Please...

Hello again!

I have been thinking about Pathfinder (well, this is all the time) and I remembered one thing about the Wizards SRD: it was prohibited to put a system for creating characters and advance it in levels, right?

So... How could Paizo create a stand alone RPG using the Wizard SRD?

Note: As you can see, there is a lot of ignorance involving this post. That's something fixable with responses :D

Hello!

I want to know more about the characters that appears in the books. I have read that the sorcerer is called... Seoni? How about the others? Is there some source of information about them?

Liberty's Edge

I just joined the Pathfinder Society. I have been given an ID Card. And, by my surprise, it has a Cheliax sign on it! I don't want to have such "devilish" sign on my ID Card! ^_^

Is there any way to obtain one with "Andoran" sign printed?

Hello there!
I'm not sure if this post should be here or not, but...

I live in Spain, and I won't go to USA in the short period, but I love this company so much that I wanted to see the front of the offices using Google Streetview. But... I can only see a big building with a sign that says "Compact Information Systems".

Is this really the front face of your offices?

Thanks for your responses.

Hello, there!

I'm spanish and I'm having a hard time finding the meaning of a term.

Lets see...

There is 2 separate things in a rule book: the rules and the flavor text. That flavor text... is called the lore?

Thanks for your answers.
