Thanks for the clarification Machaera. Do you have the previous spreadsheet as well then? I believe we did a split before that retrieving the tarot deck? I just wanted to cross check totals for my own invoicing purposes.

Just some clarification required about how much we have to work with... but it shouldn't impact things too much. It's just a +1 here or there.

Corvus, are you sure you haven't accidentally doubled up somewhere?

What is the current divide per player? Looking at the spreadsheet, the only value listed is 4889.5, but now that I'm looking from a pc so that I can see the formula, it looks like we had 1162 gold + the items sold below. Does the 1162 reflect the previous wealth update? Or was that credited out to the group?

Corvus will purchase a Mithril Chain Shirt +1 (2100 GP) and a wakizashi +1 (2,335).

Ready to start infiltration or negotations - that's the part that seems undecided.

Well, it looks like our group has exceeded the 30% average :P

Honestly, other than the concern over the anesthesia for an age under 3, the tubes weren't that bad. She's still getting sick at the same frequency, and if the congestion goes to her inner ear, the tubes are doing their job and draining them, or providing access for medication directly as opposed to taking antibiotics and risking antibiotic immune variants. It's a process I guess, just a tiring one.

Glad to hear that everyone went through them all right though.

Thanks all. I didn't mean to over hype the situation at all... these have mainly been colds/flu here and there. The main problem is that the congestion doesn't drain and back fills her inner ear - making it a stomping ground for an ear infection. It's apparently quite common, as the surgery to insert tubes (exposes the inner ear to let the fluid dry out) is the leading surgery for young children.

I'll just be happy when this period of building up the immune system ends.

In general, real life is busier for me now with a 13 month old daughter, so there are days where little things from that just add up. She's in day care, so we've been seeing illnesses almost every 7 days... and had to get tubes put in due to those illnesses turning into ear infections constantly. I can't say I've had it worse than other parents, but it does consume a lot of time.

I have a feeling people are checking in, but at times, there are no updates, which prompts no additional updates, compounding the problem. Just a theory based on personal experience.

Honestly, simpler might be better by just having the group attempt to hire them and push for one big surprise round, if only to save some back and forth on the boards. We'd just have to weigh the disadvantages (possible escape) vs. the real world logistics of crafting a plan.

That said, I'm game for what the group wants ans since it appears we've already started down the 2-party plan, Corvus is ok with either position. Since the vigilantes have ranks in disguise and bluff, at least one of us should be moving in, trying to convince them.

"Indeed. I believe I have a way in," comes a voice from the shadows. Stepping into view of the light (gaslight? continual light lamps?) is the familiar outline of the avian mask. Vancaskerkin and his group have made a name for themselves. They've been handing out meat to the local townsfolk, which would normally be applaudable if they legally acquired it themselves. However, they've also been hiring themselves out as local mercenaries. We could get inside by seeking an audience to hire them."[/b]

A wand of sleep may work, but the low DC concerns me. It's not that much lower than the alchemical options, but at least it's reusable every round and shouldn't alert the target if it fails. A blowgun with Drow Poison also seems like a good setup. Corvus will just purchase the sap. We'll just call it a clue bat.
