I have not opened this thread since the email post. No need to rehash that though.

Anyway, thanks to the VO team for handling this. And thanks to everyone for a tough but ultimately fair conclusion.

I have no problem with anyone in this game for the record and would be happy to play with any of you again in the future.

When struck, she immediately touches her holy symbol creating a barrier to withstand some of the damage. She still collapses under the impact.

Using 2 mental focus to create a mind barrier as an immediate action. It only absorbs 4 damage but that's at least longer before I bleed out.

stabilize -2 HP: 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 1 - 2 = 9

Her blood does not appear to be coagulating.

Have people been counting their bless bonus in attacks? I can't tell.

Charna activates her speedy vest, scurrying around the corner to see poor Petrok getting bullied by the undead. She sends a blast of lightning at the lady, hoping to draw attention away from Petrok.

Sudden Speed as a swift action. Move into range for my energy ray.

ranged touch+bless+inspire: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 10

Charna accepts the wand, flips it in the air once so she can grab the right end, and taps the kitsune with it.

"Let's go help the others now!" she prods when Kit stops for a breath during her oration.

I assume I can use a move action to take the wand? I haven't ever had that come up before so I'm not positive.

Before they enter, Charna taps herself with wands of mage armor and shield, then blesses the entire group with hope. "We need not fear these creatures."

That was casting bless if it wasn't clear.

Round 1:

Charna steps forward if possible, near enough to channel positive energy at all of those horrid undead creatures.

DC 8 Will save. heh. Not her forte but I might as well use it while I'm stuck in the back here.

Before everyone retires, Charna channels healing. "This might help you sleep better."

I can use spell slots before bed for healing also if anyone needs any more.

The next morning, she does her best to ignore the snugglers. "Shall we return back to where we were or go a different way?"

"With luck Steinfaust may yet live. But there's no chance of that if the rest of us die first. Let's find a secluded spot to camp out so we can continue on refreshed. We will deal with the orc chieftain if we come across him. Frankly he scares me much less than the native terrors of this place."

Is everyone all healed up then? I'm happy to pitch in some charges on my wand if needed.

Charna finally tosses her acid flask to finish off the swarm!

This time, she keeps her footing well enough to get back around the corner. She tosses the acid flask at the ants, praying to Pharasma that this will finally be enough to destroy them!

Aiming for the far corner where it won't splash on Kitoro.

Charna slips a bit on the grease but manages to keep her footing. She fumes at her inability to follow after the bugs.

This swarm is brutal! Last try.

Charna uses the last of the gloves' fire, hoping to finish off the horrid little critters once and for all! Then she withdraws an acid flask from her belt, just in case they need a little more hot sauce.

Charna's gloves coated with arcane inscriptions burst forth with fire once again, cooking the ants.

Depending how short you are, I could probably chip in.

Charna watches in disappointed horror as Steinfaust is consumed by the ants right in front of her. "It seems Pharasma has made her choice."

She backs up away from the swarm and blasts it with fire emanating from her special gloves.

DC 15 Reflex save. I believe where I'm standing allows me to hit the nearer side of the swarm while missing Petrok. Hopefully barbecuing Steinfaust further won't matter at this point.

Yeah that's why I came to heal him, so he would have more flexibility to take splash damage. 1 damage to him is better than letting it live long enough to hit him for 6d6 again.

Charna is horrified when the swarm begins consuming Steinfaust. Not seeing anyway to kill the bugs without also finishing off her friend, she decides to risk going to his aid. She tugs on her vest, invoking its powers to speed through the greasy area and aid the poor fallen oread.

Using sudden speed as a swift action. My speed increases by 30' for one minute. That gives me enough to move through the swarm even at half speed if I can get through the grease.

When she gets behind him, she calls on Pharasma, imploring the goddess to help heal his wounds and to let the others finish off the swarm before they are both devoured.

Charna follows Petrok towards the larger room, taking a good long look around.

Charna sputters and coughs when the Vulture eats the rotten orc flesh. "Oh dear, oh dear. Raising the dead is one thing. I mean, I'm pretty flexible. But that was revolting!"

Nevertheless she finds herself a little jealous when she hears the corpse respond to the questioning.

"I'm afraid to suggest this," she glances at Nectenabo, "but is everyone ready to press forward?"

"Oh these grubs are so horrid!" She tries to dig one out with her dagger.

I didn't see an answer to Nectenabo's question about using Aid Another. If that is possible, I will aid his check instead of rolling my own.

I also have burning hands prepared. I'm not really clear on the fire damage part of this thing. If that works better than the heal checks or using a torch, I will do that instead.

Charna follows Petrok down the passage. "My goddess! These corpses deserve better treatment." She cautiously approaches, looking for clues to their demise.

"Sweetie, those lanterns are just lovely." Charna waits politely for them to expire before casting light on someone's weapon.

I have lightbringer racial ability where I can cast light at-will at CL 4th so it only needs a refresh every 40 minutes.

Charna can only appreciate the poem for its linguistic beauty and is astonished at Nectenabo's interpretation. "Is that really what it meant?"

@Faeran- go ahead and carry both wands.

As the group starts discussing how to find the proper ruins, Charna offers a suggestion: "I have been granted powers from Pharasma which will help us all in finding our way to the artifact. Please make use of them to give her honor!"

I have this ability:

Blessing of the Faithful: As a standard action, the ecclesitheurge can bless one ally within close range (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels). A blessed ally gains a +2 sacred bonus on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, or saving throws or to AC until the ecclesitheurge's next turn.

When we are out of combat, please assume that Charna will always give this blessing to everyone before skill checks, as well as guidance. So a total bonus of +3.

survival+blessing of the faithful+guidance: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 20

Charna's bright eyes sparkle extra bright when the Tome is revealed. "Yes, by all means, let us peruse the stories of the dead and find what secrets they may reveal to us. Such treasures!"

Charna is a little bit sad to lose her new bony friends. She commands them to descend back into the crypt and rest there forever. "No need for you to stand and fight anymore little ones. Go sleep the sleep of the peaceful."

I'm assuming we don't need to go into the crypts ourselves? If so then when we leave she will command them to stay there.

Charna is frustrated that the big skeleton continues to resist her. She rolls up her sleeves, grimaces, and tries again.

Charna instructs the weaker skeletons to protect her from the stronger one by attacking and destroying it.

oh sorry. I'm on my phone right now and can't move myself right now. Are you sure about that? The description of the feat doesn't say anything about targeting and it can affect any # of creatures? I couldn't find a ruling for sure and I'm still new to pathfinder so let me know if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Charna is -1 to Perception so she can't make that check unless I can cast Guidance first. Even then...

Charna is pleased with her group for dispatching Umut so quickly. She looks around but doesn't see anything helpful.

Charna moves up next to Kai, staring down at Umut. "You would use zombies for what purpose? It's people like you who end up giving the undead a bad name- people blame them for the destruction you cause. Tell us now what you are up to and perhaps we will spare you."

Charna chips in, "The graveyard. Yes, we must go to the graveyard."

Charna wistfully sees the zombies fall before she has a chance to try to command them. Someday I will have one of my own, she thinks with a sigh.

She asks Temel, "Do you know who might have sent him? And do you know why one must swim to get in your door?"

Charna attempts to stop on a silver piece.

Charna sees the mummy rise and begin attacking and she cries out, "Oh no you don't! You must remain on the other side where you belong."

Using her Command Undead. It gets a Will save DC 14. If it fails, she will command it to drop anything it is carrying and kneel on the floor with its head down.

Charna says, "Well it is clear that you know far more about religious artifacts than I. I will go see about those windows for you now and perhaps I can find someone who can speak about religion at your level. I thank you for your time, good sir."

Are there like serving people here? If so Charna will try to strike up a conversation with one in order to get them to open the windows.

Charna replies, "I have always had something of an affinity for the dead, and I am quite sure that talking business is exactly what will give the trade princess joy and relief. Certainly there is no better way to celebrate her life.

"One cannot have an interest in bones without encountering all manner of religions. Are there any religious artifacts in particular that interest you?"

"Now that you mention it, I do feel warm. Perhaps I can do something about those windows."

After this conversation ends, she will examine the windows.

Charna is intrigued by the Trade Prince's of the mysterious Jakti al'Awar. She decides to chat with him first. Before approaching, she prepares herself. Cast Guidance.

"Hello, I understand you deal in rare magical items? I have interest in all manner of bones, as you can see," she says with a grin. "Perhaps we could have a cup of tea and discuss where our interests overlap?"
