![]() Ok, thanks DM. Bobafett will be a full BaB pistolero looking to retrain to techslinger when he finds his first 'tech' gun. With the technologist feat he will plan on becoming the trap disabler (non magic only) and reliable ranged combatant if there is no other person slated to do that in the group. Think a combination of Harry Dresden and Billy the Kid on a riding dog. ![]()
![]() I have had this aasimar/hobbit techslinger try the AP and have had a GM fold twice. I would turn him into a PFS alias if selected. He was the hobbit sheriff of a shire and faked his death to go adventuring. Originally he was tied to Khonner as a good friend, but I used the alias to try for a Razor's Coast game. ![]()

![]() Actually, I just used control print screen to move the maps into google drawings from the interactive pdf. Since I subscribe to the AP, I have all the maps. I just didn't download them until now as I prefer to be surprised. Then I put a rectangle over areas to hide them, and I grab monster tokens from the web. Google search for clockwork servant, save your favorite image as a png or jpeg, and upload it into the google drawing. Each character can cut and paste their avatar onto the document too. Let me see what I can make. Ok I added my Bob token and grabbed a clockwork servant image doing a google search in images for pathfinder clockwork servant, it is that easy. Since I gave everyone viewing and editing privileges, the drawing is accessible by all. All characters can move their own tokens, and, if you summon a wolf, you can add your own wolf token. This is the url https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1Ls3IstBeX7fQ0vPUoip8RaTHcJVtxKp4r21j2eI w4nQ/edit?usp=sharing
Anyway, I would suggest you get your own google account for free and use google docs, it is easy. Note you can add the rectangles to cover up the parts of the maps and add any token you want. Hope this helps. ![]()
![]() GM GIM, here is a link to my Mummy's Mask game. In the campaign tab you can set up an initiative block and, you can put links to maps in the short description of the campaign tab and they show up at the top of every page. I use google drawings and then cut and paste tokens from images anywhere as tokens. ![]()
![]() I like modern but haven't played much lately. Before you begin the hating, I liked three decks, Splinter Twin and Birthing Pod decks as well as the dreaded Blue white green control decks. I like to have a great combo (Splinter Twin and Birthing Pod give that) with great value cards that can win on their own). Aggro decks have their place, but I never liked them. I like modern because you don't need to be rich to get a decent deck. favorite modern decklist: 4xVerdant Catacombs 4xMisty Rainforest 2xOvergrown Tomb 1xGodless Shrine 1xTemple Garden 3xForest 1xSwamp 1xWoodland Cemetery 3xRazorverge Thicket 3xGavony Township 4xBirds of Paradise 3xNoble Hierarch 2xWall of Roots 2xVoice of Resurgence 1xQasali Pridemage 1xScavenging Ooze 1xSpellskite 1xEternal Witness 4xKitchen Finks 1xOrzhov Pontiff 1xRanger of Eos 1xLinvala, Keeper of Silence 2xMurderous Redcap 1xShriekmaw 1xReveillark 1xMelira, Sylvok Outcast 1xViscera Seer 2xAbrupt Decay 3xChord of Calling 4xBirthing Pod -----Sideboard----- 1xScavenging Ooze 1xSin Collector 1xEntomber Exarch 2xPath to Exile 2xSlaughter Pact 4xThoughtseize 1xObstinate Baloth 1xHarmonic Sliver 1xKataki, War's Wage 1xVoice of Resurgence ![]()
![]() Well, any MtG fan has got to be awesome. I actually started with black bordered alphas and still play on Cockatrice occasionally. Try the computer game etherlords 2, you can pick it up on Steam for a song, and the European voice actors are quite funny. Any time you would like to start. I can create the maps for you to link in the campaign tab and show you how to organize your campaign tab. You may need to get the board to give you access as DM or, much easier, create your own campaign. I use google docs and upload the pdfs from the module. I have not grabbed Iron Gods as I want to be surprised, but I can create the maps no problem. ![]()
![]() Bob appears to be a hobbit, and he wears a leather riding duster as he traveled around with his dog. Currently, Bob's prized possession is a shirt of mithral chain from the people of Torch. Bob was a jaded celestial, his original purpose was to free halfling slaves, he made many a hobbit friend as he and his dog traveled to work with the Flower Network. After many years of a many rewarding, but fairly tame assignments, he noticed he was becoming estranged from all his friends. He had ran into Khonnir Bane in his travels and formed a lasting friendship, and Bob visited Khonnir occasionally. Khonnir helped Bob make his original firearm, and taught him much of what he knows about tech. Having found about his disappearance, Bob is anxious to help find him and provide any help he can to Khonnir's daughter. I would like to get that gritty future meets fantasy feel from the iron gods AP. I have been playing in a few APs, but none like the Iron Gods. ![]()
![]() Bob nods.
Bob begins to mess around with the controls and buttons, writing down what affects the controls and buttons seem to cause. All thoughts of disassembling the room now forgotten. ![]()
![]() So Bob took out his now massive collection of tools and went to work. He was determined to get all he could of value. perception/Kn: Engineering/disable device: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 221d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 91d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21 When he was through with this room, he went to work on the warped door. He concentrated on using the epick to try and clear the lock so the big strong members of the party could force the door. Rolls for warped door

![]() Time for a lengthier post The small technocrat was interested in the packages of fine materials and weapons. He quickly grabbed some chalk and worked with the fine craftsmen. He sketched an emblem of the a picture that was quickly recognized as the signature great purple bonfire lighting up the darkest of skies that was the hill near Torch with a motto in both Androffan and the Common tongue. 'Our flame burns for those of Torch' "Fine craftsmen, I would like this emblem on my fine shirt of chain to wear with pride. Some of my companions may wish the same. I hear there as an etching process to color fine metal without damaging it." Choosing the links of the fine, light metal of uncommon strength, Bob explained the chain shirt he would like crafted. Picking up the ore of the meteorite that was reputed to be indestructible, he helped craft ten cartridges with bullets of the adamantite enclosed within. He shows Alyna his gunsmithing kit, and how he maintains and loads his firearm. Testing the cartridges by carefully fitting each into the chamber, measuring the clearance with a pair of find calipers, and then removing each adamantine cartridge. The ten special adamantine cartridges he puts in a special ammunition pouch easily accessible when needed. Keeping to armor and ammo -- three guns should be enough for now ![]()
![]() Bob shakes his head as they leave and relates. "That is a powerful and dangerous man. It was not necessary to antagonize him. If we have made an enemy today, we have done ourselves no favors. He has ruthlessly moved to his position of power and has access to thugs and criminals." What was done was done. Having left the dangerous man, Bob would be happy to get back on the hunt for his mentor. ![]()
![]() Bob smiles and tips his hat and bows graciously. "Mr. Ureth, your hospitality was overwhelming. It is unfortunate that we are in a hurry to rest from our harrowing journey and be up at the crack of dawn to return and look for Khonnir. I assure you, we will return to resume our conversation in earnest." Bob adds with a wink: "Consider this first meeting a quick prelude to an earnest conversation at a later date. At the moment, we have found little of interest to share, but will return when we have information of value to share." Bob will wait to share his discoveries with the others later. But will hasten the departure as he puts on his leather jacket, gives a final tip to the serving staff and offers his elbow to Alyna to escort her out formally. It is quite obvious the first meeting is coming to a quick end. Not wanting to leave him totally dry, Bob informs him on the way out: "We found many an empty Silverdisk, but we may know the trick is to find the 'full' ones." ![]()
![]() Bob remembers and follows his own advice to Bitha. Realizing information was gold, he spread most of his tokens in generous tips to the attending women and, curiously, his time with them he mostly asked them for information. Although engaging in banter and whispers, Bob's discussion appeared to be of an intimate variety. However, Bob was very interested in town politics and gossip, and knew these women were probably in the know. He discreetly asked about the powerful in town, and when he received good information, he tipped generously with his tokens. As an amateur tobacco enthusiast, he pressed the staff to let him spread his coins to gain tobacco, and he put the precious leaves in his stash to replenish that loss below. Not having gambled much, Bob still wanted to make a show. Picking the most high stakes game in the upper room, he made a single bold bet.

We keep mwork buckler
5 brown cards, black e picks. - Robots net gun. (two shots left, 3 nets salvaged)
The cash after selling and adding the coins found is 879.7 gp I like androids getting emotions. The end of Blade Runner is a classic example of complex android thoughts and feelings. ![]()
![]() Bob enjoyed the pipe smell, and nodded to Bitha.

![]() The gunslinger can start with a battered 2000gp value gun, a mwork double barreled amounts to 2050gp. Maybe we get mwork double barreled pistols to be more reasonable. Although the pepperbox is expensive, I think it is highly priced for its utility--I have yet to see a player buy one. Then I give Alyna the mwork pistol we found. That way she has a loaded single shot mwork and loaded double barrel mwork ready. I would still have my battered double barrel and the gifted mwork double barrel as well as the netgun. Alyna then has three shots before she needs to reload. Though I think she gets a 'free' gun when she goes gunslinger. But for now, Bob can reload them for her. Since Alyna is a cleric, she can memorize the level 1 spell abundant ammunition for her and Bob. We may even want a wand. That way we can effectively shoot adamantine bullets for free against nasty constructs. ![]()
![]() I would sell chain shirt for 125 gp, get mwork agile breastplate, and pay for the mwork greatsword. It gets Bitha +2 AC. My calculations for barbarian with 17 STR at level 2 masterwork greatsword. To hit/damage +6/2d6+4
You can also look into getting a two handed reach weapon, which will grant attacks of opportunity versus those without reach. At level 6 you can get the lunge feat for more reach. |
