Nice, Vic! Cunning Action is pretty sweet. :D "Whoa! Big blue guy!" Arannis shouts in alarm. He then rushes forward and blasts it with fire. Moving around to where I can catch him in a cone without getting any allies, then casting burning hands.
If he attacks me, I'll use my reaction for a flash of light in his eyes to give him disadvantage on his attack roll. Can't use it to defend my allies, though; just me. Let me know if that happens so I can mark off a use.

That's indeed quite a stretch. I mean, I can see the conclusion that she's probably not a normal human, being out in the cold and all. But to go from "might be a fey or supernatural" all the way to "definitely wants to kill us and I'm so certain of it that I'd better strike first" makes Jack (in-character) either ridiculously stupid, borderline evil, or both. Maybe that's what Jack's player was going for...?

Alright, here's Helen's replacement. I do have a request: would it be acceptable to have a quarterstaff (taken as a starter equipment option) with a holy symbol mounted on the end of it? For a casting-focused cleric, I like the mental image of walking around with a symbol-tipped staff that I point at the targets of my spells, and I don't think it'd affect action economy or anything compared to carrying a mace and having the usual symbol-on-a-necklace arrangement. Would that be acceptable? If not, I'll just keep the usual crossbow. EDIT: Oh, also, should I be leveling him up to 2nd?
