Pretty much what Vi said.

We won our final 2-0. My brother had to be carried from the field with a knee tear/strain/dislocate/not sure midway through the first half. The lynchpin of the team. Commander, brute, warrior. That's what happens when you put your body on the line in the dogtowns. At 43, and him still being in pain even with codeine - was likely his last final. Vale.

But we won.

@GM Dust - here in Oz therapy is not as prevalent. I don't have the emotional werewithal to give myself the grace to go, though my wife thinks it would be good for me. Kudos to you for taking it on - and perhaps the new therapist will have fresh insights.

Nye retrieves his javelins, trying not to look at the dead dwarves' faces. He gives the one bloodied javelin tip a cursory wipe with a rag before stowing it at his back again. Following the rest of the group, Aneirin grips his longspear - almost useless for turning around in the tunnels, but perhaps it will suffice to keep foes out of reach...

@GM: It came from a tale my friend told me of being at the airport in Brazil. A very dolled up but small woman tried "the sigh" but it didn't work. So she tried it again with more gusto and a big burly man swept in and came to her aid. ;)

If I have three levels in Bimbo can I still take levels in Investigator even though the Sigh for help in case impressionable male fall under my spell and lifts my luggage off the carousel ability specifically precludes any Insight abilities?

Can my assimar take Bimbo if I spell it thus incorrectly?

Yup. Going to get some much needed shuteye. I moved away too many barrow loads of gravel. The when my back was too sore, the timber didn't get delivered, (or rather the wrong order got delivered for the second time) and we had to fill in time by…shoveling dirt onto the gravel. Too old for this… :)

I worked as a cleaner for a while at a swish "eco-lodge". The worst clean ups were after the meditation retreat groups. There are some fluids/matter you just cannot get out of sheepskin rugs. urgh. Note I have never participated in "behind-picture-graffiti". But it is funny. Finger wag away!!! Still, badly drawn porn is bad no matter where it is! ;)

Upon waking early, Aneirin washes perfunctorily, cleans his teeth and otherwise completes his toilette before packing his gear carefully. He checks under every piece of furniture to make sure he has not left anything behind.

Just before leaving, he removes a picture from the wall and writes NYE on the wall in big letters with a piece of charcoal, then smiles to himself and hangs the picture back up.

He heads out and down to the foyer, hands in his key and sits down to wait for the others.

@GM - ok, thanks for the Campaign info. Sounds good - the white collar crime was what I was alluding to on the bare "upper tier-safer streets". And yes, actual biologicals for investigations/decision-making - mechanicals for the muscle.

Exactly. As THIS discussion shows there is a distinct difference. Shadowrun is…..porridge to Cyberpunk's lofty and bare muesli. I do like porridge, but not with elves, dwarves and dragons in it.

So a question on Oldenburg by-laws etc:

I was kind of concerned that even in a Steampunk setting Aneirin maybe shouldn't be wearing his spiked gauntlet "out and about" but now it seems Rosa (at least) is packing serious and unwieldy heat. The toughs were armed and armored. Is it just that this tier (and the one below) is gun-and-weapon conversant?

Have we seen cops/polics/gendarmes/militia? Are they flesh'nbludd or mechanicals?

Are the upper tiers likely to be more "civilized" - policed/administered by mechanicals bristling with weaponry, but usually peaceful on the streets?

I love Pinterest, and follow a bunch of post-apocalyptic and warrior/fantasy image boards, but I have no idea how to use it. Any tutorials on it? It seems easy, but it is somehow arcane and esoteric to me.

Yep. No time this weekend. My better half was working overnight so I was Mr Dad's Daycare from midday Sat to midday Sun - pesto pasta for dinner last night and up first thing to be a pirate. We even went to my brother's house in pirate costume to meet a builder for my bro who couldn't be there but he never showed. We amused ourselves by finding and filling up the kids' nerf armory with ammunition (love to see a 3.5 y.o. lock and loading a Nerf crossbow) while they were gone.

Of course the builder never showed, but who decides Sunday 9 AM is a good time to get construction/load bearing wall advice???
