Female Half-elf Rogue 3

I am sorry, but I will not be able to pbp anymore. Stopping my other games as well.
Please be kind to Chichi, I will miss her a lot :(

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara is trying to set up flanking, not wait for flakning, so she should still be first in initiative and not after Panish

Fort Save:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

“Don’t have any arrows and I doubt throwing my daggers at it will do much if the other undead is anything to go by”

Telepathically to Chip'r : “Chip'r can you keep an eye out for us? Don’t want those Derro’s to sneak up on us. ”

For combat Aliandara will try and be a flanking partner and check if she is able to deal sneak attack damage to the thing

Aliandara, hoping that they are taking it by surprise tumbles past the monster and stabs at it, leaving space open for other to get at it

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

Attack roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Confirm roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Rapier Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Sneak Attack Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10

Crit Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

”I guess if you are a big monster, darkness doesn’t matter, you just swing everywhere. What kind of monster is it indeed, it even have mismatched feet” Aliandara shudders

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara nods to Donogar then stand close to his side. Still feeling fragile and beaten up she has a bit more courage now to face what may.

wow just realised that Aliandara is on 10hp O_O

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

”Is there no way to not fight in the dark? I know Donagar is fine, but I am terrified.” Aliandara shifts uncomfortably as she admits this.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

"I'm moving out of here before I get stabbed, Donagar he is all yours."

Aliandara tries to make her way to the closest corner

Sorry was at a workshop last week, didnt know it would take that much out of me

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Floorplan D6

Aliandara shivers as she notices the skulls “ Creepy, I wonder if they are real skulls? ”.
Reaching out to touch one, she recoils, too disturbed to touch in case they are real.

Perception to check if they are really skulls: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara gets back to her senses, still a bit disorientated. “ Wait, what happened, where did those buggers go? We got to find them and give them a surprise of our own.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
Fortitude, vs Stun : 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

I am slightly confused about what is going on. If you make the perception, what do you see and how does it help you? As I assume Aliandara is stunned anyways?

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara pats Chiirrip. ”Thank you for your eagerness, but I would not want you to go alone. And even if I did go with, I expect that I will just make it worse for the both of us”

Aliandara then follows the rest of the party. Being second to last she gives Panish a coy smile, his antics lessening the unease she has for travelling in this dark place.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

If really need be I could attempt crawling through there, though it won’t do us much good if I can’t see on the other side.”

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

“I would be more than happy with that, though how do we know this thing pointing at the monster, "didn’t eat Gaekhen? Or that he isn’t in there somewhere? Between all those bodies" Aliandara shudders when she realises that they will probably have to search through all the corpses.

Were we given any leads on how to identify Gaekhen's body?

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara will help the others carry some of the bugs so the monster can be fed, but otherwise stays out of the room, not being able to stand the sight or stench.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara moves into flanking position and attacks

Rapier Flanking Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 2 = 25
Rapier Sneak Damage: 1d6 + 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + (3, 2) + 1 = 11

Not sure if I am in 5ft range of a flanking position, if not then Aliandara will tumble to get there

Acrobatics to get into flanking: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

As Aliandara enters the room the stench hits her like a wall. She immediately covers her mouth and nose. ”Urg, do we really need to go in there?” Can be heard as she mumbles behind her hand.

IF Panish makes a deal, Alinadara will not attack but quietly try to move out of the creature's sight, it might still decide that she is tasty after all.
IF it attacks, Aliandara move closer to try and stab at it, tumbling to avoid the tentacles and some of sickening filth.

Acrobatics to avoid AoO: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
Attack with Rapier (assuming I could not manage flanking): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara sees the bugs sucking the life out of her companions and moves in to help Panish now that Marra seems have gotten rid of her bug.

"Get off of him you filthy insect!

She 5ft into flanking and tries to sneak attack the bug

Flanking Sneak Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + (4, 5) + 1 = 11

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

"Stay off of me!"

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Rapier Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

AoO: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Rapier Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

" I know I've been sounding pretty panicky about the undead so far, but I heard a sickly giggle in the distance" , Aliandara points in the direction she heard it come from.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara watches the skeleton in awe, still very disturbed by the thought of the dead moving, but now even more disturbed that it seems that monsters are buried in the graveyard. What else can be lurking here…she looks behind her then back to the fight.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Upon seeing the large skeleton Aliandara looks to her rapier then to her buckler feeling pretty fragile. She decides to stand back, guarding the rear with Panish.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

While the other group members were off to go shopping Aliandara would have headed out without them. First go to the church of Pharasma to pray and purchase 2 bottles of holy water and a wreath. She tend preceded to her mother’s grave, sprinkling holy water on it and placing the flowers. She would hate to see her in her undead state and will hopefully have some peace of mind if she sees her grave undisturbed.

When the group arrives she is already at the mausoleum. She is relieved to not have to be at the front. Normally she would be eager to show off her talents, though she would is too disturbed by what they might face.

What did Chichi say?
How much cash did we get and has it been distributed yet?

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

“How can the church of Pharasma have allowed a necromancer to dwell inside the Gray District! I am shocked that Korvorsa hasn’t taken care of Rolth before!” Aliandara is disgusted and visibly disturbed as her mind conjures up pictures of dead loved ones mulling around seeking the flesh of the living, she shudders. Then with a sudden realization and horror, ”I have to check my mother’s grave, Pharasma, please let nothing have happened to her."

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

”I really hope Trinia is going to be fine”, Aliandara says, clearly not at rest yet and very concerned. She sighs heavily and with that she goes outside to tell Chii’chi that they’ll be leaving this place and thanking her for watching.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

"Even if the Queen pardons you there will always be people who will stubbornly hold to this story, that’s the tragedy of false accusations. Do you have family or friends outside of Korvorsa, people you can trust?" says Aliandara , wondering who she would turn to if their positions were reversed as her only family is in Korvorsa.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara nods, ”The plan sounds good, the mop should be easy to lead astray as they are already in a frenzy and would take any bone thrown at them.

Aliandara looks in the direction that Marra indicates, eyeing the rooftops: ”The mob is between us, but the mob is in the streets and we are already on the roof, which puts us at the advantage if we take to the rooftops. I know the Shingles pretty well, as much as one would want to be familiar with the place. It is dangerous, but I’d rather take my chances up here than down there."

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Acrobatics roll: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
So sad...

If this means we are falling then Aliandara will try to fall with Trinia, not wanting to lose sight of her.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

When Aliandara sees that Trinia is trying to make a run for it she jumps out of hiding and tries to grab on to her. If she manages to hold on to her she will tell her: “Please wait, listen, we are here to save you from the mobs.”

Grapple Roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 (Assuming grapple is a finessable manoeuvre, if not it is a 19)
Diplomacy Roll: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara motions to Mara to look at where she has spotted Trinia, if Mara has not noticed her yet. She also tells Chiir'chi to fly closer to Trinia, as we might have to stop her from running away and her presence won’t be too suspicious. After that Aliandara will move closer to where Trina is, making effort to stay unseen.

Stealth Check: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

You know Aliandara well :) I was thinking that she would take to the roofs when I read the posts :)

Aliandara will be on the roof, keeping an eye out for Trinia. She watches the windows in case Trinia is trying to slip out through one.
She also asks Chiichi to help by keeping a look out from the sky and alert her if she spots Trinia

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Hi, I am back, just catching up and ready to post again, reading the Pbp to see what I've missed :)

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

If Trinia is good enough to paint a portrait of the previous king then maybe Aliandara has heard of her?
Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Aliandara is a bit startled by the messenger, but she was expecting to be summoned by Cressida at some point. She gathers her things and follows, wondering what task Cressida has for them this time.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara will offer to help her rescue other pseudodragons in the city and when she is not working for Cressida she will try to find out where others might be trapped and if anybody sells them. Though during this down time she was too preoccupied learning to understand Chirr'p'grr'chi'pr'r to be busy with such noble goals.

I’m not going to leave the party to pursue this, though if this wasn’t an Adventure Path that’s what I would have gone off to do next :)

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Info for DM:
Money she had on her: 180.6gp

Sells: Masterwork Studded Leather (for 87.5gp)

Buys:
Muleback cords 1100gp
Mithral Shirt 1000gp
Masterwork Backpack 50gp
Pocketed scarf 8gp
1 Smoothly polished Hematite pebble 10gp
1 Blue quartz crystal 10gp
1 Pink agate disk 10gp

Money left: 80.1 gp

I am assuming I can sell the Masterwork studded leather at half price
I know the Muleback cords and the Masterwork backpack do not stack, but I wanted a nice place for the pseudo-dragon to go hide in :)
The pocked scarf is where I hide the gemstones. I buy the gemstones when the dragon is off hunting and hide them in there. They are my “bargaining coins” if I ever need it.
I would like to play out a conversation or two with the pseudo-dragon, just to figure out its personality. By now I should know how it likes to be addressed and if its male or female?

During the downtime Aliandara, knowing she will face danger again, went to a blacksmith to get a new suit of armour. Not really knowing much about armour she asked for light weight armour that will not hinder her movement. What she ended up with is a chain shirt made up very fine bright silver links. The blacksmith explained to her it is made from mithral and not as frail as it looks. Even though she finds it beautiful she always wears it underneath a normal set of clothes, not wanting to stand out.

Aliandara is very grateful for the pseudo-dragon having the patience to teach her its language and she enjoys the experience of learning to pronounce the foreign sounds.

When Aliandara returns to the Turtle she looks more like one of the young patrons, wearing fashionable clothes with a teal scarf as an accessory. The backpack might be the only thing out of place, with a pseudo-dragon sleepily peering out of the opening, woken by the sounds of the inn.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

I'll climb less well to be able to speak Draconic then :)
Will post my actions/buying during the weekend sometime or today if I manage the time

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara is a bit disturbed by the voice in her head looking around for what the source might be, but soon realise that it must be the pseudo-dragon’s doing.
“If that is talking you are doing then I sadly can’t understand you. But from the fact that you stay with me I assume I should take care of you from now on. At the moment we are going to the Posh and Turtle, hopefully there I can figure out what I can feed you in the future.”

Panish Valimer wrote:
Panish waves a pretty waitress over and asks her to bring a bit of cheese and a sausage, which he then proceeds to offer to the little dragon.

At the Posh and Turtle we try to feed the pseudo-dragon cheese and sausage, how does it respond?

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

When the group gets far away enough from Eel’s End, but before they reach the Posh and Turtle, Aliandara opens her backpack. Keeping the bag open enough for the dragon to come out if it wants.
“You can come out now if you want, we are far away from that place and Devargo won’t find you.”

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara catches the keys and looks at the little dragon, being nervous that it might interfere with the negotiations by lashing out at Devargo if it is let out. She quietly speaks soothingly to the creature letting it know that she will be getting it out of here and to freedom soon.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Sense Motive to see if it will do anything drastic when out of the cage: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

After the spectacular finish Aliandara unties herself: “Now that the fun is over I’ll attend to my prize. I’m just the entertainment after all and business talk is better left off to him” she motions to Panish as she walks to the cage. She looks at the frightened little dragon and softly whispers to it: ”Don’t be scared little buddy, I’ll get you out of here safely.” She checks if the cage is locked or if the cage can be picked up and carried.

Did Devargo give me keys to the cage or is Aliandara supposed to take the whole cage?

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Sense motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

"You can’t even call these pathetic excuses a crew"

Aliandara shouts, wondering if that was a bad attempt to distract her

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Yes, I know its a standard action and still want to do it :)

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Yes I will bluff again, though if he goes before me I might change my plan

Bluff to Feint: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Aliandara..:
..tries not to cringe too much from the stab, but continues with the fight as normal using misdirection when possible.

I don’t want to reveal Verkton’s weapon as I am assuming he is trying to hide the weapon and thus it makes him fight less effectively

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara grins as she sees Verkton taking the bait and slashes at his neck.

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Dagger + sneak attack: 1d4 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (1, 1) = 6

Next turn I will attack as well so I'll just post the rolls now

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Dagger: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Aliandara will:
...pretend that Krev's dead weight is giving her more difficulty than it really is.

Bluff roll to feint: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Should I still roll initiative for every action? If so here it is:
Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Aliandara will:
Will still be trying her luck with the direct approach.
Dagger: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Though with initiative that low she might do something different once she sees what their plans are.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Aliandara will:
Try to get a few stabs in before the situation gets too tricky.
Dagger: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Female Half-elf Rogue 3

Sense Motive (even though Panish sent Aliandara the message): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

Aliandara turns to look at each of her opponents, checking to see what she is up against. Catching the hint Panish is slipping to her she then remarks to them ”I wonder which one of you two will draw first blood. You better move quick before your friend takes the credit.”

DM:

If a bluff roll is required to pit them against each other: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
