It looks...surprised?
Me not hab babies, and dems not flies needer
After Marra's attack strikes home, Aliandara flips and rolls her way inside the thing's grasp, driving her rapier at its thick hide, to no avail. Donagar attempts to wade in, the otyugh slapping at him with its long tentacles (AoO). But it only batters him a little bit, taking a little strength from his attack, causing him to not have enough bite to get through the thick hide. Then it attacks in earnest. focusing on Donagar. Though none of the attacks seems to have any effect on the heavily armored dwarf.
"YOU SMELL NOM NOM! TASTY DWARF! LIKE ONIONS!"
AoO1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
BITE:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Tentacles:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
You see the Otyugh look up and down Donagar
current order: Panish then Drakus up.
Panish
Drakus
Marra
Donagar
Aliandara
Otyugh
Panish Valimer
Panish looks disappointed, "And here I thought you were smarter than the average utyuk. Tell me, do you know of any stealing of corpses in this area?" Panish shuffles in to the creature in a guarded stance, his sword creating a scraping sound on the ground - just enough distraction to slip the blade cleanly underneath a tentacle in a powerful thrust.
Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Sounds cool, I don't mind. I take it you mean that an "11" on a 2d10 - if it should hit - corresponds to 50% of the (dice) damage. So in Panish's case an "11" corresponds to 4.5 + 2 damage. Dunno how you would like to do rounding.
The question is how do the threat-ranges of weapons work? You need roughly a 5% threat chance on a greataxe, 10% on longsword, 15% on scimitar, then double again for keen/improved-crit ranges.

Aliandara moves into flanking position and attacks
Rapier Flanking Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 2 = 25
Rapier Sneak Damage: 1d6 + 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + (3, 2) + 1 = 11
Not sure if I am in 5ft range of a flanking position, if not then Aliandara will tumble to get there
Acrobatics to get into flanking: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

Sgt. Drakus again attacks over Donagars head.
Bardiche attack: 1d20+8 for a possible 1d10+3 points of slashing damage.
Uh, let me finish out the round before posting new attacks please, that's why I re-ordered it after the Otyugh had gone, so I could make a summary of the action before proceeding, thank you. Will have summary up later. Hammered at work atm.

sorry, Busy Busy

Panish shuffles in to the creature in a guarded stance, his sword creating a scraping sound on the ground - just enough distraction to slip the blade cleanly underneath a tentacle in a powerful thrust.
Sgt. Drakus shouts "Hyah!" as he attacks over Donagars head.
Marra reloads and fires another bolt, hitting the beast as the bolt skims past Donagar's ear,"Give it up beast, slink back into your corner!" possibly distracting him "Iffen yer fer givin up yer tah say uncle!" as his axe hits but doesn't penetrate the thick hid. "I did not wade this far in tah be nice tah yerself!"
Aliandara dcuks and weaves through the beast's defenses and stabs it in a soft tissue area, somewhere near it's backside?
Otyugh "YOWWWWWW!!!! NOT DET HUNGRY!!! Me Stop now!!!" as it withdraws into the corner.
Aliandara Leloric
“I would be more than happy with that, though how do we know this thing” pointing at the monster, "didn’t eat Gaekhen? Or that he isn’t in there somewhere? Between all those bodies" Aliandara shudders when she realises that they will probably have to search through all the corpses.
Were we given any leads on how to identify Gaekhen's body?
Sgt. Drakus
"Yeah, weren't he a Shoanti tribesman? They all got tattoos all over the place don' they? Can't be many of those here... If'n we can't find 'im in the piles of bodies down here, we can always come back an' open up that big pile of crap."
He points to the Otyugh with his Bardiche, then notices some filthy bodily fluid on it and scrapes it off with a look of distaste.
Marra "The Phoenix" Warblade
"Ah, Derro, that rings true, hateful, malicious and wholly evil, derro within the walls of the city must be expunged. I remember one of them dealing with Lamm at one point when I was just a little girl, they took a dozen bodies from the hideout though a trap door to the cellar, I guess I had blocked that out..."
Panish Valimer
"Don't really know them - some form of sadistic midgets?" Panish makes sure to recover the legs of the Shoanti. He wraps them up make-shift for the time being and stows them, looking slightly ill at ease in the process. "These poor legs may be part of the body we're looking for. Let's go on and see if there's more to find." Panish points along the path with his sword.
Marra "The Phoenix" Warblade
Marra keeps her repeater trained on the Otyugh...
"What worries me is where did that derro go?? It ran in here, there are no exits...Otyugh where'd he go?!" As she aims at the Otyugh
The otyugh shimies and squirms a bit...it's tentacles then point toward a section of the rough wall.

Aye, there's definitely a cleverly concealed passage hidden by the stone...after searching the wall you find it's on a rolling pivot, it opens into a small passage, even Aliandara or Marra's small frame would be a tight squeeze in there...
DM X
Peering through the passage...
"How far back does tha thing go? Do it open into a larger area beyond?....I am sure we can find a way around. We gots no way tah get to yah if yah runs intah troubles in there."
Donagar makes a few light rapping noises on the wall, with his hand on the wall and eyes closed, the passage continues back across possibly connecting with the ossuary and elsewhere judging by the scattering of echoes.
Seems like something that would be able to be done with stonecunning...
Marra "The Phoenix" Warblade
Marra also looks at Drakus' bardiche, and at the hole...
"Hah that thing is bigger than the passage."
busy at work atmo, try to update with a new room/map if I can find the time. You'll at least have a description. (oh do you want to go back to the previous fork, or proceed in the direction you were moving?[/ooc]
