This reminds me a bit of a character concept that I had (and am actually playing). A CN Wizard focusing on summoning. Went to the Acadame in Korvosa. While there accidentally messed up a spell and ended up glimpsing into the void. He went quite insane, and now secretly worships Nylarthotep. He joined the Pathfinder Society to search for rituals and relics that can help him usher Nylarthotep into the world, and prevent the other old gods / threats to Golarian from getting here first.

He spends most of his time ranting about how we are all doomed.

I'm fine with giving it back to them assuming it technically completes our main goal of preventing the Shadow Lodge from obtaining it.

If party agrees to give back Jedrek's Shard:

While I doubt this will work, it seems like the best course of action for this character and generally it's what you should do in real life against a charging animal, not really sure about a stampede though...

GM slightly caught off guard as the scenario has no text for what happens if we go up the cliff rather than through it lol. Don't you hate it when that happens, especially something that really should have been giving a condition for if the players do it.

There is nothing in the cleric spell list from level 1 and 2 spells that helps with a plain old wall (to climb) lol

@Zer0, well if you played with my Sarenrite cleric, you'd have an issue if you also had light sensitivity, which isn't likely to randomly happen. He does have issues with people that worship CE deities though, because they get blasted by his AoE channels as if they were undead.

That said, Ailean doesn't care who other people worship as long as he gets to cause his fun in the name of the Lantern King.

@GM_CariMac sorry for the confusion, this character is not my life Oracle with -16, he is only -2 so his initiative step should be 6 here, just above zero and those set of warriors. Either way I'll take my first actions:

Ailean notices the enemies in the mounds of snow and says "Look see funny snowmen hidden in the powder piles!"

He then moves 25ft towards the bottom one and begins casting a spell targeting the red one (I'm colorblind btw in case I say the wrong color); if the red one gets damaged before my turn Ailean will go for the yellow one further into the mounds and move further up (where the further picture of my character is). "Shimmy shimmy shake, picture of me!"

Other than making saves to not be fatigued from not resting, I don't see why we can't continue on through the night, nothing says I can't pray while walking as long as I'm not thrown into a stressful situation it should be fine. Plus some of you have darkvision and I've got a ton of light sources anyway. Obviously Ailean will continue to pass out endure elements to the people that need it (I'll mark off my wand once we finish).

Ailean trudges along with the rest of the group, occasionally stooping down to lick the tracks in the snow.

"No sun snow, good, yes? Never liked the sun snow...Will remember the single test when lantern praying. Give people my mind is normal spell, not good when only single test, hit stone creature friends even with my mind."

Translation: Yellow snow is bad. Ailean will prepare 1 or 2 spells the next time he has a chance to pray that will help in single enemy encounters. His normal go-to spell is confusion type magic, which would have just locked the wolverine on the next person that hit it.

So, my post seems to have gotten destroyed by the site maintenance. Oh just so I don't forget, Ailean shakes his lantern and uses blessing of the faithful on Carina for a +2 sacred bonus on skill checks, as well as giving visions of madness to Carina for another +1. You'll trip out and see some fey creatures for 3 rounds though lol. I've got 9 uses of vision of madness so I'll liberally apply them to her until the conversation is over.
